From the first moment, everything went flawlessly, which has not been my experience with other contractors. The company takes pride in its work and DOES sweat the details (in a good way!), ensuring there are no surprises when it comes to functionality, aesthetics, schedule, and costs. Their pricing was fair, and as someone who is a value-conscious consumer, I felt like the quality of the work - not to mention the ease of working with them - was tremendous for the price paid. They also were simply pleasant to have in our home for the better part of three months; they were always incredibly prompt, cleaned up after themselves, and treated our entire family, including kids and cats, with a lot of care. At one point they even helped me push my stuck car out of the mud I'd parked in to free up spots for their trucks. I'm also including some photos so you can see the quality of their work. My very experienced realtor told me these look like remodels that cost twice the price. Parviz and his crew also reliably gave solid input about design choices, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Wow! Luis can do pretty much anything, and he does it all with professionalism and care! He did…read moreEXCELLENT work for us on several projects. The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. In every situation, he did high-quality work in a very timely fashion. He always arrived when he said he would, made sure that the times were convenient for us, and always left the work area clean and organized. Luis is friendly, honest, communicative, reliable, trustworthy, polite, and highly skilled. We highly recommend Luis and his crew, and we would hire him again without hesitation.

He suggested the part I would need and I ordered them on the spot. He told me to call him when the parts arrived to schedule the instalI. Sean confirmed he could come and do the rest of the repair work on Friday after Thanksgiving. However, when he didn't arrive at the agreed upon time, I texted him and he said family came into town unexpectedly. Even though I wasn't happy, I didn't have an urgent need and it was the Thanksgiving holiday, so I was fine to reschedule. He texted that he could do a time in early December and put it in his calendar to confirm. He promised he would show up for the new time since he cancelled on me 'Black Friday'. I called Sean the day before the Dec appointment and he told me he would call me back later in the day as he was finishing up another job and wasn't sure if he could make it to my place. I never heard back from him and still took off work in case he happened to show up. I tried to call and text him when he didn't show, but I only received a 'auto response' text that he was with another client and would return my call. I tried to call and email him just a couple more times after this day, but got no response. It has been a frustrating experience in general to find a local handyman for small home repairs and I thought Sean did a good job on his 1st appointment with me. But to have him be a no-show twice in a row and then just ghost all my contact attempts is very unprofessional. He is a one-man show and has his own business. But not following through on appointments or leaving customers hanging after they order supplies is not a good way to run a business at all. I would not recommend Aces and Jacks for any handyman work you need done.
