This place is the best. Fast, friendly -- excellent service for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We visited this flea market while we were in the village and had a fun time. First thing to note,…read moremuch of it is under trees, so there is shade as you walk around. That was a major plus. I am no stranger to flea markets, but what I loved about this one was the friendliness of the vendors. All were welcoming and willing to strike up conversation, especially about music. A great deal of finds hide here, including vinyl, China, jewelry, gemstones, print media, art, antiques, clothing, vintage, handbags, etc. There is a little something for everyone. Overall, a very fun experience. Try it out!

Woodstock is a diverse and eclectic town but it's also famous for its Mower's Flea Market every Saturday and Sunday in a big grassy area. Hubs and I have always made it a point every time we come to Woodstock in the last 20 years, to stop here first (out of nostalgia) before making the drive down home. Quite honestly, we've scored several hand-made pieces and a vintage Dashiki hubs had found for me. Mower's is made up of several vendors all selling something different. Over the years though, the amount of vendors have dropped. And forget about COVID last year- because it didn't take place and was weird looking at vendor-less lot when we came to the area for a day trip in the Fall of '20. But alas, Mower's is back in business and we were delighted to see more vendors (almost) recently like we used to 20 years ago. You'll find antiques, memorabilia, some kitsch- the same way you'll find locally made products. The way I see it, it's a shopping haven for me. Just make sure you get here before they close for the season in November.

I spoke to John on the phone today and it was a great experience. I called to ask about repairs…read moreand he was able to figure out what it could be and told me how to take care of it. He wasn't trying to just take my money like every single other company seams to do these days. John was just an honest, very friendly guy whom I definitely will be taking my business to. I am in my 2nd year of business in lawn care and been thinking of a stand up, and when I'm ready, its off to Malibu Mowers. Thanks again John!

This is my first time to be recommended by Greenworks with the repair claim to get my lawn mower…read morerepaired by this new Greenworks repair center in the Capital Region. In the past, it was difficult for the Greenworks products serviced in my area, because there was none official repair center. With the Malibu Mowers, it has changed the repair situation and makes it convenient for us, at least for me. When I first went there to drop off my broken lawn mower, it was a Saturday and John, the owner, was not there. The neighbor called him and he was back in a short time. I was warmly greeted by the neighbors and John;s father. I was happy that this family business is liked a neighborhood business, which tells me how good this repair man is and gave me confidence in him and his skill and his knowledge. It made me feel a sort warm feeing inside. John is very polite and knowledgeable about the Greenworks products and highly skilled in his trade. The following Monday, he called me to tell me what was wrong with my machine. One of the plastic parts inside was broken and the Greenworks does not have any spare part for it to be replaced. He arranged for a new mower to be shipped from the Greenworks to his shop on my behalf. Today I went there to pick up the new mower. He showed me what I needed how to take care of the new machine and what to avoid in using this. I was surprised he went even further for me that he already registered the new machine for me with the Greenworks. In short, my experience is one of the best repair experiences I have ever had and it was very efficient and detailed. It is truly remarkable that John put the customers and their needs first. I highly strongly recommend the Malibu Mowers to all the families and users of the Greenworks products. This is the very reason I left with him another product from my mom to be repaired there. My deepest gratitude and best wishes for John and his Malibu Mowers.

Horrible Service. We purchased a new mower from Jack Miller…read morefor over $5000 about 5 years ago. It needed some repairs in Aug. '18, called up to see if and when we could bring it in for repairs. JMemployees told us to bring it right in and it would probably take a couple of weeks. Called in Sept. and was spoken to abruptly, called 2 weeks later, again same thing. Called in Oct. and was told they would call us. April 2019 still no call!!!! So, again we make another call....AND we are told.. "oh, I guess we should bring it in for repairs." So, does this mean that for all this time, JMemployees didn't bother to even look at our mower. Called beginning of May, and was told Monday, then Monday, was told Friday, then Friday was told ... and on and on. FINALLY, May 16th we were able to pick it up! Our $500 repair ended up being over $1400. And to add more salt to the wounds, NO JMemployee helped us(which was just our son) load the mower from the back of the yard, where it was blocked by several snowplows. And if JMemployees had put even just a drop of gas in the mower, maybe this would have been an easier task. When we were finally able to mow the deck fell off and the gas tank was not replaced, as we had thought, it was just a terrible caulking job. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

How am I the first to review a business that has been around for over 70 years?…read more Well, maybe it's because the place mostly serves the regional restaurant community. And I suppose it doesn't help that it's located on a stretch of Broadway up the hill in Schenectady that doesn't see much foot traffic. Plus, even if you were walking along Broadway, would you have your dull knives on you? Probably not. Did I mention that the hours aren't totally convenient either? Well, unless you're a morning person. But where else can you get your kitchen knives professionally sharpened for $3 a knife? Most of the fancy kitchen stores that offer a knife sharpening service do it for a buck an inch. I was able to get five knives done for less than the price of two. And at Cavoli's, they aren't running your blades through a standard over the counter knife sharpener that anyone can buy from Amazon. Nope. These guys are using large grinding machines, and grinding knives like it's their job. You know, because it is. Would I suggest you bring your finest Japanese knives here? Nope. Those require finesse. This shop is about brute force, which is exactly what my block full of long neglected knives needed. Just know, that when you go through these doors, it's not a place that's really set up for walk-ins. Still, the office didn't blink when I dropped off my knives. I left mine overnight, but I had the sense that they could offer same day service if you brought your tools in early enough. This is a fabulous resource, and I hope more people find it.
