I'm very satisfied with the paving job that Richard Ruck Paving did on my driveway. The price was…read morereasonable but what really impressed me was when they discovered that there were essentially THREE layers of asphalt that needed to be dug up instead of one, they didn't charge me extra. Although they probably would have had ever right to do so, I was so grateful that they didn't. The final result is a beautifully paved new section to my driveway. This is a long time family owned business and they're hard working, honest and conscientious people. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them to do other jobs and will definitely recommend them to my friends.

During the job, however, our garage door and the surrounding metal casing were damaged. To his credit, he offered to file an insurance claim. We agreed instead on a simpler solution--he offered to come back and seal the driveway at no cost. Since then, I've followed up multiple times over an extended period to try to schedule the sealing, but unfortunately haven't been able to get a response. I'm sharing this not to be negative, but in hopes of reconnecting and getting this resolved. The work itself was strong, and based on that experience, I'd still like to see this situation brought to a fair close.

After these last two storms in Maine we had massive damage to our trees and Matt took care of them very well, removing a large larch tree that was threatening to fall on our garage, trimming a very tall and difficult shagbark hickory and then quickly taking care of a few maples that were in need of trimming. He and his crew are hard working and we appreciate them greatly.

A few years later in 2018 I had a much larger job where I needed him to take down about 20 pine trees of varying sizes. He did an amazing job as usual. Some near power lines, some near the house some on the perimeter of the street. He quoted me the price for the job and told me he would be tied up with other work but he would get to it later in the summer. He did better than that and got to it earlier than promised. He did a great job as usual for a very fair price. I recommend him without reservation having used him multiple times.

Yesterday, Brian and his team arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the day without even taking a lunch break, in order to get as much work completed in my yard as they possibly could. They were fast, efficient, thorough and extremely safety conscious while working to ensure that they did everything I had requested of them. The team could not have been more polite and accommodating. Brian and Preston even stayed late to finish and make sure the yard was cleaned up before they left. They went way above and beyond what was expected. The price that I was quoted was more than reasonable and incredibly fair. I am very grateful to Brian and the team for the hard work they did to make my yard look great again, and to make it safe from falling tree damage in the future. I highly recommend Northeast Arbor Tec due to the high quality of their work and the extremely fair price I paid. They will ALWAYS be my go to tree company in the future! Thank you again, Brian, Brian and Preston. You guys ROCK!!

I would have considered them if they ever provided a quote, but they never did, even after calling them several times. I found someone else that did provide a reasonable quote, and 2 other companies never called me back.
