We live near the airport and since the Lee Vista location is basically across the street from it, it's been our go-to for a while. The seats are incredibly comfy and reclinable. They offer $6 Ticket Tuesdays (but only for the non XL theater showings). The popcorn is usually pretty fresh and their check out system has only gotten quicker and easier through the years. It can get pretty busy at times but their online ticket purchase system makes it so that you buy the tix online and just go get your snacks once you're there. Oh and you can order your snacks ahead of time and get them at the front desk without waiting in line- similar to AMC. For the loyalty program, just make sure to put in your phone number at the check out kiosk so see if you have any cash accumulated to redeem, though I think it's only for order-ahead purchases. They SHOULD add a quick barcode on the website or app to scan it and more explanations on how to use your points (unless I just missed those sections) Overall, super great, comfy, and lux-feeling place! The Fashion Square mall is, unfortunately, permanently closed now as well. Joy K's review hit the nail right on the head by recommending that a movie producer use this abandoned mall as a film set for a dark/horror/backrooms movie while it is still standing. The comfortingly eerie atmosphere of this theater gave its customers a secret place to escape to when they wanted to watch a movie. Its hidden entrance almost made the movie theater feel like a speakeasy. I feel like only locals knew about this movie theater, and based on my conversations with them, they attended movie screenings regularly. I am so sad that I can no longer go to this movie theater when I need to escape from the world, and even sadder that I only found out about this place in December of 2025! It was very well hidden, after all. And then the cost -food and two drinks + tip $92.00.. The food was worse than any fast food I have had and this cost is ridiculously high for the quality received. I suggest this theatre go back to a few items for movie snacks and make them good and hot. Will we go back - yes for the movie, NO - to ever order drinks or food. The theater itself is a bit outdated in some of the standard rooms, but if you catch an IMAX or 4DX showing, it feels like a completely upgraded experience. I do wish the other auditoriums would get a refresh, but it doesn't take away from the overall experience. The staff has always been friendly, the concessions are solid, and having a full bar is a nice bonus. This theater definitely has a special place in my heart, and I'd love to see it get a full upgrade one day.

IMAX theater had what AMC calls "Rocker Chairs" which are bigger than normal theater seats but they do not recline. I think their Dolby theater has recliners seats. As someone whose home theater is Disney Springs, this IMAx theater seemed the same size as Dolby in Springs but who knows. But to compare to a normal size screen IMAX is HUGE

Like anything at a theme park, it was twice the price of a retail store for a similar item. I prefer the Cinemark location at International and Oakridge for two reasons. This theater requires you to go through Universal security to access the complex at Universal CityWalk. So not only do you have to park in one of the 'spoke and wheel' designed garages, you have to queue up and depending on how busy Universal is that day you may have a significant delay walking to the theater. If it is before 6 pm they may require you to pay a daily parking fee. The Universal Citywalk Cinemark has embraced a new movie theater trend where they have one bathroom near the entrance. I prefer the one on International Drive because they have several bathrooms on different corridors. This one you may have to walk a significant distance and up and down stairs to use the facilities. If this is during the movie then you miss more of the show. Don't wait too long! Like most Cinemark theaters I found the auditorium clean and the seat numbers were easy to identify. The sound and projection system was top notch.
