The real star though was Kristen. Kristen was an outstanding advocate for us during two recent transactions, a sale and a purchase. For our sale, she guided us through all stages of the process. Everything from initial pricing strategy, through staging, open houses and negotiations. This all resulted in a FAST sale for us in a difficult market. For our purchase, she listened closely to what our needs were and used her in depth knowledge of the South Shore to provide advice. She was always quick to respond to questions and requests for showings. Needless to see Ive interacted with hundreds of agents over my 15 year career. Mike is at the top of my list for Boston Real Estate. Thank you Mike!

Two years ago, Mike Sylvia (owner of The Terrier Group) helped my husband and I buy our first home,…read morea 2-bedroom condo in Southie. We used him as our buyers' agent and he was excellent. He talked us out of buying a condo that we thought we really liked (and which was more money than we intended to spend) because he thought it was overpriced. I knew then that he had a great deal of integrity and that he was a Southie expert. He ended up helping us buy a gut renovation on the east side of South Boston. It was an amazing home with parking and he got us a great deal. Two years later, our circumstances changed and my husband and I needed to move out of state and sell our home. Honestly, I was just hoping we would break even because we had planned on staying there much longer. Given our awesome first experience with Mike, we knew we wanted to use him to sell our condo. He was so helpful and honest once again - no surprise! Our home sold in 2 days and there was a bidding war. In 2 years, we made 20% on our home, which was completely unexpected. I have no doubt that part of that was due to Mike's expertise, professionalism, and salesmanship. Mike is pleasant to work with, incredibly responsive (it felt like emails were returned immediately, almost all the time), professional, and truly an expert in the biz. Mike is an amazing real estate agent on both ends of the game - if we were still living in Massachusetts, we would absolutely use him again!

She went above and beyond for us and since we first time home buyers with a LOT of conditionals, so we put her to work. Every house she showed us was considerate of our checklist, but she also helped us get out of our comfort zone on expanding our preferences. I pretty much considered her a friend at the end of this, but with obvious boundaries. Realtors end up knowing a lot about you in the end and it was really reassuing that I felt comfortable with her! Besides just Jamie, the firm itself has great third party recommendations for every step of the way. We used everyone that they recommended and we had a really smooth process. Highly recommend! We also had friends who used her as well, at least 2, and they were beyond happy.

After our most recent purchase of a single family home that Nate skillfully helped us navigate, he then helped us sell our condo. When I say he worked some serious magic, I mean it. Nate was able to help us get our place ready to sell in a three week timeframe, host a weekend of open houses while we were on vacation in FL, and then coordinate the offer that came through three days later. Nate's knowledge, attention to detail, honesty, and wonderful communication style make him a joy to work with. He always handles (what I consider) a very stressful and fast moving process with ease, professionalism, care, and always steered us with our best interest in mind. Christian's market knowledge was very helpful in evaluating the offers and closing in a rapidly changing market. We chose to work with Nate for the subsequnt purchase of a 2-Family in Roslindale and the experience was equally positive. Nate invested significant time and effort helping us eventually find and then evaluate opportunity in the house we chose. Because the house was a fixer upper with significant work to be done, Christian, a licensed builder, provided incredibly helpful insight into the cost and the nature of the work necessary to bring the house up to date. Since closing, both he and Nate, continue to be very helpful as the renovations get under way. I provide a very high level of service to my clients and I expect that from other professionals. I was not disappointed. If you are ready to brave the Boston RE Market, you won't find a better team to back you.
