We looked at a number of houses with Mike and he was able to identify things about the homes that we never would have noticed or even considered. There were several times where we may have gotten a little too excited about a house, despite some obvious setbacks, and Mike was right there keeping our best interests in the forefront. The idea of selling our house and finding a new one, with two kids, was a daunting task however, Mike really let us do it on our own schedule and was supportive and responsive any time we called on him. He was there every step of the way for us. He always answered every text, call, or email no matter what time of day or night it was. His professionalism, knowledge, honesty, and hard work are evident and very appreciated. We truly never felt that he was just trying to sell me a house or close the deal, but rather that he really wanted to find us our forever home. Based on his analysis and expertise, we priced our property exactly where it should have been, and ultimately received 3 bids over asking price. Other realtors pricing strategy would not have yielded the same results. Like all sales, open houses, inspections, and closings, there were a few hiccups. Mike presented options for solutions rapidly, to achieve the goals we were going after. Beyond all of that, his honesty and accessibility was second to none. He answered every call/text within minutes. My family and I always had confidence that he had our best interest in mind. He was not afraid to put in the work at anytime during the process. Between hanging fire alarms, calling the water department and driving 45 minutes away to save me time, he was always willing to go beyond the extra mile. Mike also had recommendations for numerous vendors, that all worked out very well. I honestly could not recommend Mike enough. I would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Surprised to see negative reviews here…read more I lived in the building in Somerville before Mainsail, during renovations, and a few years after renovations. I thought things went as well as they could during renovations - they communicated (and were apologetic about) the times they were going to work, and I don't remember them working outside of those hours. I don't remember any work on the weekends. It got loud at times, but that should be expected during renovations. I don't doubt that the other reviewers were frustrated, but I never felt unsafe during the renovations or saw any carelessness. I would expect there to be changes when someone purchases an outdated apartment building - they purchased the building to turn a profit on their investment. Before Mainsail, the building was OK - it was definitely in need of updates and repairs. Since Mainsail took over, the building is objectively nicer (I wish I had before and after pics of the lobby to post). My favorite update was the payment/support portal. Before Mainsail, I had to mail a check every month. That was much more of an annoyance than I anticipated when I signed my original lease. Now, I just log in and transfer funds from my account. Renovations aside, the staff has always been nice and responsive. In my opinion, they have been more than fair with rent increases (or lack thereof), especially considering how crazy the rental market has gotten in the area. Its a great building in a great area - I absolutely loved living here! I am leaving for personal reasons completely unrelated to the building or management. (And no, I don't work at Mainsail, and I am completely unaffiliated with them. I did not rent another Mainsail property, either.)

They could not care less about the tenets--lots of construction during COVID, even when they said they would only work during certain hours. See photos for how they leave the building. Also, they aren't very responsive. I usually have to write them at least two times to get a response.
