Instructors are all knowledgeable & friendly, good class times & a nice little touch to end class with a lavender towel!

Great deal and after that has passed, they offer varying packages for classes or drop-in is $15/class. Before I get in to the "meat" of my review, I'll preface by saying I am/was an avid Bikram Yoga fan and had been taking Bikram classes for about 5 years on and off in Chicago and Pittsburgh. My review will be comparing it to Bikram as that's my only point of reference for yoga. Unfortunately, the Bikram Lawrenceville location and the former Mt. Lebo location were inconvenient for me so I was in search of a comparable form of yoga. I was hesistant to try a new form of yoga but it was definitely time - mentally and physically. While the format of Pure Power Yoga is very different from Bikram, it's very challening and can be tailored to your level of fitness/yoga practice. The room is heated at 90 degrees rather than Bikram's 100-110 degrees. So rather than sweating upon entering the room like in Bikram, you start sweating after a few poses in. It's faster paced than Bikram but you don't stay in the moves as long which makes it more fast-paced. The postures are different but share some similarities. I don't always understand the names of the poses they are saying but can recognize some aspects of the poses when I see other students or the teacher do them. Although I still expereience some discomfort at this new style of yoga...what can I say I'm a creature of familiarity and habit, I won't dock the place any stars because it is a challenging workout physically while also calming the mind (same benefits I felt I was getting with Bikram). This may sound crazy, but I miss the strictness of Bikram (no talking in the room, no/limited sips of water, must try to do the poses) and the over the top heat of Bikram. It felt more disciplined to me but I'm sure Power Yoga has that aspect to it the further you get in to the practice. It takes time to get used to change and although I'm still getting used to the different format, pace and poses of this form of yoga, I'll feel that it's a great workout. The studio is kept clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Sarah is always welcoming, kind and supportive and it's appreciated as a new student to this form of yoga!

I highly recommend Debbie's pre-natal yoga classes as one of the best ways to prepare your body and…read moremind for labor and birth. The Yoga Whole studio offers a safe, quaint, and intimate setting which allowed me to connect with both mind and body (and baby!).and practice freely. As a newbie to yoga, I found Debbie's classes incredibly approachable as her classes are geared towards keeping a woman comfortable during pregnancy and providing her with a toolbox of comfort measures to turn to during labor and delivery. Like a true professional, she always stressed the importance of listening to your body and offered alternatives to poses when 1.) they were either too cumbersome for me (as I approached the end of pregnancy), 2.) I felt I could push my body a little further and try some more challenging positions. Her routines provided safe, practical exercises that always stressed the importance of bringing internal balance in the pregnant body as a way to bring about a more comfortable and easier birth. Debbie emits a calm, reassuring, and motherly presence; she is steady, cool and an excellent listener. Her goal is always to put moms and babies first and her holistic approach stresses the importance of honoring the mother's/family's wishes and preferences to bring forth a positive birthing experience. Her ultimate goal is to provide each and every woman with the tools and knowledge she needs to feel confident and capable during pregnancy and delivery. From an emotional standpoint, Debbie was very supportive of me in my VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) journey. I always felt she was in my corner and rooting for me to succeed. She constantly reminded me of my ability to birth my baby and was always happy to share input and resources (she has a collection of books, DVDs, etc. you can borrow from her studio as well). I'm happy to note I had an incredibly precipitous (fast), complication and intervention-free vaginal birth at the end of last year. I truly believe the combination of the physical/mental preparation Debbie's yoga classes provided me along with regular exercise and Webster technique chiropractic adjustments were the major contributors to my positive experience. I strongly believe the physical work as well as the emotional preparation I gleaned from her classes transformed my body/mind into the optimal vessel for a swift and uncomplicated delivery. I would adamantly encourage any and all pregnant women to reach out to Debbie about her pre-natal yoga and doula services

They welcome you, guide you, and encourage you to relax, try your best, and more importantly have a good time! The SUP classes are held at North Park Lake, an excellent setting with calm water. Classes are suitable for all skill levels. My friend and I attended SUP Yoga with no yoga experience and only having tried SUP once before. The class-goers are friendly and participate with varying experience/skill levels. They offer other classes like 'SUP and SIP' - another excellent experience that includes paddle boarding, wine, and charcuterie - they also have classes at North Park Pool that vary in exercise intensity. Registration and payment take place online and work very smoothly. Specific directions are provided before class and the instructors are available via phone should you lose your way. Classes are typically 1-2hrs and you can bring your own board or use theirs. They keep your phone or keys in a safe location during class. They also take lots of great photos during class and post them to their Facebook account. I HIGHLY recommend FluidMotion Pgh classes to anyone and will continue to attend them myself!

I contacted the owner Melissa Lucciola and communicated directly with her. She stated her policy was to offer no refund --only credit, or an upgrade for me to pay an extra $18 for the gear. Ok this event is 5 weeks away, and I only just made the finding that i was misinformed on the MindBody app. as to the inclusion of the gear. It boggles my mind why Melissa would choose to take a hard line with me insisting that it read BYOB and quite frankly arguing with me on it, well it not did state BYOB. It was a honest mistake. The information was unclear on the MindBody app. I told Melissa I respectfully disagree with her. I verified my information re-reading it 3 times relaying back how the app did not state that the gear was not in fact included int he $20 fee. Miss Lucciola refused to refund my paid fee of $20. Be aware this owner/operator had delivered argumentative, poor customer service to me.
