What should have been a simple, professional home move turned into one of the most frustrating, expensive, and mishandled experiences we've ever had. AZ Movers failed us at every turn -- from logistics and communication to care and accountability. Despite providing full inventory details and videos in advance, the van sent was far too small. To make matters worse, the team that arrived had already been working for over 15 hours before reaching us -- fatigued, rushed, and clearly not in a position to manage the job properly. We weren't consulted about what would be moved versus stored, and initially AZ Movers tried to charge us storage fees for the items they couldn't fit -- a completely unreasonable demand. They later waived the fees, but only after causing considerable stress. On top of this, we were forced to completely alter our move schedule, arriving in London at 9 AM instead of the agreed 3 PM, which meant driving through the night. No apology. No flexibility. Just more pressure on us to accommodate them. The situation only worsened from there: A lamp worth £225 was broken -- no resolution to date. A table arrived missing legs and fixings -- £499 replacement cost. A second lamp smashed -- £150-200. A large plant and pot went missing -- approx. £100. Additional furniture was damaged. Final delivery was delayed. Due to AZ Movers' failure to move everything as agreed, we had to hire a private courier at our own expense (£587) to bring down the remaining items two weeks later. Even then, not all items were handed over -- dashcam footage and photographs confirm that items were missing from what AZ had stored. We have been more than reasonable. Despite the multiple issues, we agreed to cease any further claims if AZ Movers simply reimbursed us the £225 for the broken lamp. Even with this incredibly fair offer, we are still receiving delayed, evasive emails -- and no payment has been made. We've now informed them that if funds are not transferred by Friday, we will be initiating a Section 75 chargeback through our credit card provider. AZ Movers advertise professionalism and a stress-free experience. What we received was chaos, carelessness, broken belongings, additional costs, and still no resolution -- weeks later. Think very carefully before using this company. If we could go back, we would have hired a van and done it ourselves. It would've saved money, stress, and most importantly, our belongings.

Found them on gumtree , price was very competitive, the team where very helpful when discussing my move as wasn't the easiest as were doing a mutual exchange so the team were loading one van as they were loading the other , and vice versa , couldn't compliment them any higher. After talking with Ally and agreeing a quote for a job, explaining dimensions, kg, width of our doors, that I need to have it rearranged to be delivered, that it comes delivered by AO, that when I will arrange it I will get a text in the morning of the delivery with a 4hrs time slot and then I will let him know when will the fridge be in. After confirming he is up for the job I have arranged next day delivery. I informed him and repeated that I will not know the time slot until the morning and then I will let him know. He replied: 'Ok I have lots of other jobs too So you know to tell them to leave it outside until we arrive I am going to juggle jobs around just for you But we are expert and can keep everyone happy'. Quite happy by that point, I can obviously understand they have other jobs so I can have the fridge waiting on the ground floor until they have a gap to come and lift it up the stair. The next day in the morning I had AO calling and confirming that the fridge will be delivered between 4pm and 7pm, so I rushed to inform Ally so he knows when to come around and knows what time it will be in etc. Suddenly, I get phone from him and he start to talk to me that it will cost him money, that he told me that whats the delivery drivers are like. (I specified clearly that I will get 4hrs window) He continued that he need to pay wages, that its after 5:30 pm so he has man who are paid 10 12 per/h and that it may cost more. I responded that he gave me a quote (he never mentioned that the cost may change depending on the time of the day) and that's not right to suddenly tell me it will depend how much it will cost. He started getting very rude and abrasive, while I talked he even said 'let me finish' in very rude tone of voice. I pointed this is not very professional as a business owner to act like that and he got to the stage of shouting, rising his voice to me etc. Long story short I ended the call politely and absolutely upset and shocked with the way I was talk to started looking for someone else. Found another contractor in 2hrs, after confirming the job etc I was writing txt to let Ally know. He called me before I send it to him (from different number so clearly thinking I may not pick up) I said I don't need his service anymore, he was trying to be falsely polite saying that he's happy for me. When I also said 'I don't appreciate the way you spoke to me today and find it very unprofessional' he again started shouting, I disconnected immediately, with me and my fiance hearing him shouting 'I don't care what you think!' We couldn't believe how someone can think they can run business like that, shocking. Advice: Get someone else! There is plenty of professional people out there who will stick to their word and a plus they will not abuse you! Save yourself some stress and time. To top that, straight after I have posted this review on his fb page he called me on my mobile! - blocked

They moved everything and treated my belongings with a level of respect that gave me peace of mind that nothing was going to be damaged. The guys were very professional and I had a lot of stuff and they remained polite and cheerful. The price was very good: I was happy with the price, the service and the communication from the company. Will recommend and use if I ever move again.
