We were next door grabbing a snack, and honestly I didn't have a clue what Move was from just the name. Luckily I noticed the small coffee sign on the window as I walked by. This is a nice spot that has a very simple concept but seems to work well. Firstly, the owners are very personable and helpful. They were both there when I showed up for my very first time. It is a small menu of smoothies as well as bowls filled with healthy fruits, vegetables, bran, and other such items, even waffles if you're so inclined to go there. It took me a while to study the menu because I couldn't easily distinguish one healthy bowl from the next. Speaks to my lack of knowledge of this type of good eating. I narrowed my choices down by eliminating things I don't eat and then she helped me put together a bowl that ended up being quite delicious. Acai, blueberries, coconut water, bran, a bit of banana, etc. The only reason that I would not get another bowl with the acai seed in it is that I spent part of the day trying to floss out seeds from between my teeth and so forth. Yeah, my teeth and gums were like a magnet for that acai and getting rid of the seeds was not fun. However, the bowl was absolutely refreshingly cold and very delicious. Quite tasty. I highly recommend this place for those who want something quick and healthy. Unfortunately, for a lot of us though, the problem is that it's right next door to the newly opened donut shop. You've got to be pretty darn deliberate to turn right instead of left to get the healthier meal and not a bag full of delicious donuts next door. Or, you could be like me and get both. And then say to yourself well I got something not so healthy but delicious, and I'm balancing it out with something healthy and delicious. read more

Tried the Berry Bliss and Chunky Monkey protein shakes from Move, and both were great! The Berry Bliss shake was refreshing, not overly sweet, and had a well-balanced flavor. The Chunky Monkey shake was rich and satisfying, and I added whipped cream, which made it better in my opinion without being too heavy. Neither shake was overly sweet, which I really appreciated. We go every Saturday as a family for coffees. Trying all of the different coffee places we can find. With that said, I'm starting to ask the baristas to surprise me with flavors just nothing with "maple". MOVE did not disappoint! She came up with cupcake. The ladies behind the counter all were friendly and helpful. The shop is clean, laid back and had music quietly playing.
