I called roughly 12 other PT locations, which are closer to the house, who gave me the run around and wound up calling into NY. It has been a godsend, thankfully the answer Aggie gave was "Come in I am certified and we will figure it out together." She has been amazing since the first meeting and I would not go anywhere else. Details and individual attention matter, but they are entirely missing here. I drove 45 minutes each way to see Dr. Aggie Pindral--subjecting my hip to an irritating 90-minute round trip--only to be rewarded with 40 minutes of subpar, hands-off care.As soon as I arrived, they immediately slapped on a hot pack and TENS unit simultaneously. Stacking passive modalities like this is a lazy protocol designed to "park" patients so they can bill insurance while leaving you completely ignored. To make it worse, the unsupervised technician placed the TENS electrode directly over my affected trochanter bone. Anyone with basic clinical curiosity or competence knows that current needs to target soft tissue, not a bony prominence. They never even asked how far I traveled or how the car ride affected my pain. This factory-line clinic completely exploits people who don't know better. Pathetic.
