I am an infrequent - but loyal client. (patient) ? I go whenever something feels "off". She is more than a chiropractor, she is a healer. And again, I mean that literally. (Not in any weird mystical supernatural way). If anything, she is more like a scientist. An expert in the science of the human body. She understands how the body works, how it responds to different situations and experiences - and how seemingly unrelated issues are actually completely connected and intertwined when followed to the source. Franca sees the connections in things I could never begin to understand, and then follows them to the source to (fix, cure, heal?) Call it what you like. To me she is just correcting something that has gone "off". I began going to Franca over 20 years ago when I worked at a lumberyard and began experiencing constant back pain. I just figured that's what working at a lumberyard does to a body. (I was wrong). She told me exactly what I was doing wrong and how to correct it so that I could prevent further pain. I listened, I did what she told me and everything changed. After a seeing her a few times - my pain was gone. She asked how I was feeling and I told her I felt much better. In fact I felt great. Like things were back to normal. I asked "when I should come back?" Franca said: "If you need to come back, then come back. But, If you feel better... then you're fine" To date, Franca has treated, cured, rehabilitated, educated and just plain healed me of: - Too many back issues to list - most do to heavy manual labor. (oddly the most painful times - were due to something completely unexpected and unusual - and Franca knew the causes instantly) - Tendonitis, or "carpenters elbow" (I don't play tennis!) in both arms. - Hip joint pain (I have no idea what its called, but it sucked) - Many misaligned/out-of-place ribs. (Again, Sorry I dont know what the medical term is, but if it happens to you...you'll know!) - Severe headaches - (young men dont get "migranes"!) - and every other assorted strained muscle, neck pain (with actual bone grinding noises), sprains, and even things like fatigue or sleeplessness. I go to my doctor regularly (just like I am instructed by my wife, sister and mother) I get my check ups. My Physicals. Blood pressure perfect. And always leave with a clean bill of health. I really thought that I had already written an update but I guess I forgot to hit save or…read moresomething... First, you'll notice the dramatic increase in rating. This is largely because they have changed receptionists. It is now easy to make appointments, I rarely wait very long, and I have not had any complications with my insurance and making payments. Also, Dr. Handelsman is also treating my baby girl. Yep that's right a baby getting chiropractic adjustments. Truthfully, I can't tell if it is helping her digestion or sleep but it isn't hurting and they don't charge me for her.
