I've been receiving chiropractic care for 14 years (thanks, law school!) from multiple different chiropractors, but Chiropractic and Wellness has, hands down, been the best. Everyone here is kind and knowledgeable. The doctors take the time to listen to your concerns and thoroughly explain your treatment. For instance, even though this is a busy practice, the doctors will show you exercises to do to help treat and prevent injury. This is also the only practice that I've been to that uses electric stimulation before adjustments, and will use cupping and ultrasound treatment. read more

10 years ago I suffered from whiplash on a boat ride in Cancun. I was young, scared, and didn't have health insurance and wasn't sure what I should do so I just lived with the pain. These guys are the best! Over the past 10 years, I have been treated there 3 different times for injuries sustained to my lower/middle back (this one put me in the ER & on opioid pain medication), shoulder/neck muscle spasms/knots/poor range of motion, etc....& a partially torn Achilles' tendon. Prior to these injuries, I had never been to a Chiropractor and could not believe the recovery results. I felt like a million bucks!!!! I am going to be visiting them soon (at their new location) for a knee injury sustained about a year ago....that won't seem to heal and is steadily getting worse after exercising. I woke up with debilitating pain in my upper left shoulder / neck area. It radiated down to my left arm and I'm left handed. It was an 11 on a scale of 1-10. The pain was so unbearable, I couldn't hold it anyway to get comfortable, couldn't sleep and could barely hold a coffee mug. It was so terrible. Having gone through a massive herniation of my lower back just 1.5 years prior I wanted to try and avoid all the medications and needles they want to use because they truly made me feel terrible. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Merai came recommended by two separate people I know. They saw me within a few days, listened to me and began their "magic". They both explained how it would be a rollercoaster. And was it ever! Sometimes I felt worse, which they warned me about, sometimes I felt relief. I was so worried the pain would never go away. After treatments twice weekly for about 4 weeks was when I had my first "a ha" moment. I remember waking up several times with no pain as well as very brief moments during the day. Fast forward a couple more weeks and I was having more good hours then bad. I'm to the point now where I stop and think wow, I'm not in pain. And If it comes back I'm maybe a 1-2 on a scale of 10 being the worst. I was so doubtful, but both Dr. Merai and Dr. Thomas kept telling me if they thought they couldn't help me, they would have refereed me by now. That meant so much. To this day I thank them each time I go in. I'm so glad to be able to have finished my job as a crossing guard where I have to use my arms daily. And just be able to enjoy my hobbies again. I am currently 4 month postpartum and my back is better now than it was before I was pregnant. No complaints with regard to treatment from this doctor or facility; my complaint is about their insurance claims' reimbursement. I have been trying to get them to properly submit and process claims from April, 2018!! I am unable to be reimbursed by my HRA plan because I have no explanation of benefits to submit. I've tried to contact the office, their billing department and the insurance company (a subsidiary of Oxford) to no avail. It's unfair for me to have to wait this long and now I learn that the office incorrectly billed me at the time of service when they're supposed to wait until the insurance company advises them of how much they're willing to cover. Therefore, they're not even abiding by the rules they subscribed to under their contract. Very unhappy right now, can you tell?? read more

This is the medical practice that I use when I'm in pain and can't wait for the typical HMO run around. The doctors with Axis Integrative are the best for Chiropractic Drs and MD's in the area. When I say area I am referring to the Tristan's area. The chiropractic care has taken me from the Emergency Room and not being able to stand to fully functioning in 2 weeks. The MD's are very knowledgeable, caring and most of all gentle in their treatment. Dr Dina and Dr Mike are 2 of the best Chiropractors I have used in more than 40 years of Chiropractic care. The office staff is very professional and caring. They never have me waiting and the communication between staff and doctors is always on point. They always know my plan of treatment and are ready to go so soon as I arrive in the office. I can also state that I have never had a problem with my insurance or billing. I am very happy to write this review to share my experience with this wonderful medical practice. read more
