So I need to start off by saying the practitioners and Dr. Axelrod who owns the practice are excellent. They always treated me with respect and were eager to help me with my chronic headaches. The front desk staff as well are superb--they are kind, caring and work hard to make sure all clients needs are met including reminder calls, working out billing issues etc. The office Manager is fantastic as well-she always was in a good mood and kept me updated if the Chiropractors were running late etc. They try to fit as many appointments as possible into every hr so often there could be a bit of a wait when you get into one of the rooms and they are a bit rushed to have your treatment completed. Unfortunately, the extensive amounts of appointments and money spent did not help my headaches in the end. I went for multiple months and at first 4 days/week for a while, then 3 days and eventually twice a week. I also was paying out of pocket until I met my insurance deductible as well. I suffer from a rare type of headache disorder which does not respond well to Chiropractic Care it seems and perhaps made it worse--I have been going regularly to Physical Therapy and that has given me some relief. Just understand that Chiropractic care will not help EVERYONE, and they do extensive testing to try to design a care plan for you but it is not guaranteed to help in the end...I am glad I gave it a shot however. read more

I visited this chiropractic facility last year when I had severe back pain . I had an extensive workup at my first visit. The followup with Dr Axelrod , consisted of him sitting me down to share their findings . And maybe 10 mins of working on my back. He said he would be able to help me , etc. At the end of the visit he convinced me to buy a neck roll and orthotics for my feet , claiming they would help me with my posture and relieve pressure on my back. I had to pay 450 $ out of pocket for these two items that I had neither asked for nor used . At this point the girl at the front desk , said my insurance had paid for the two visits and I didn't owe them anything. I felt this wasn't the right place for me . They just wanted to get me to commit to booking more sessions with them. When they realized that I wasn't coming back , they started sending me a bill for 160 $ . I found this attitude not only unprofessional but also self serving. read more

Be very careful with this group. They told me that they were in network with my insurance and collected a copay for each visit. Then I find that they submitted bills to my insurance company from a chiropractor in the practice that was not in network. read more
