I called many places in lower Westchester but most don't treat kids younger than 7. The PT places that specialize in pediatric therapy did not have availability for weeks. Optimum Physical Therapy made an exception for my daughter and have been absolutely amazing with her care. My daughter's arm has quickly made remarkable improvement in strength and range of motion. The noticeable differences are remarkable from session to session. What makes Optimum exceptional is that they make PT so fun for my little girl. She absolutely loves going and fills the place with laughters from having such a great time. We are very grateful for the kind, accommodating, and amazing staff at Optimum. A quick update on Optimum... they just moved to a brand new location on Central Park Ave. The new facilities are absolutely amazing. I love the bright windows, new machines, lockers, etc. Unfortunately I rolled my ankle out and fell badly but I am very confident that the therapists at Optimum will help me strengthen my ankle to prevent another incident.

I thought it was odd when I was asked to remove my bra (for a leg massage?!) I got a back massage and some Chinese accupuncture on my back, apparently this helps to loosen quads (!!!!!). It didn't ... The second/ third time, I went to see a physio, I had 5-10 mins of pressure release in my calf then was put for 25 mins on a massage machine. I was given stretching exercises to go home with. My legs were getting worse not better, so I went to a different physio in new Rochelle's who confirmed I had been given the wrong diagnosis, the wrong parts of my body had been worked on and the exercises I had been given to do at home were making my issues worse (!!!). Steer clear of this place if you need sports injury support.

At the end of a therapy session I am without pain, and this has been lasting longer with each session. The staff is compassionate and very skilled, and they know the names of every patient. There are two MDs on staff who can prescribe therapy and meds where needed. They also offer podcasts covering a variety of medical issues. The facilities are immaculate, and comfortable and make it easy to be there. Treatment rooms are private and sanitized after every patient. I am very comfortable going to Millennium, even to practicing at home because they make it feel easy. They are keeping me "young," and moving. I worked closely with Jim who was professional, caring and competent. He was so fabulous that, if I could, I'd absolutely adopt him!! Sam, who evaluated and worked with me was incredible. Everyone, including Abe and all the assistants, were so very helpful. The facility is large, open and has a full range of equipment. My problem was probably the result of an injury even the doctors couldn't fully identify. But Jim managed to zone in on my problem and get be back to where I could run again. Something I never thought would happen. He was patient, watched carefully to see what worked (and what didn't), gave me home exercises and loads of incentive.
