As a Combat Veteran I've had injuries and my fair share of physical therapists. None had the experience nor customer service as Optimum Physical therapy. They succeeded my expectations. I recently had reconstructive ACL surgery and had absolutely 0 movement in my left knee for weeks. It felt like i was lugging around a log, not a leg. After one visit at Optimum Physical Therapy I regained so much movement I could not believe it. I look forward to my visits and working with the staff to improve further. Everyone is so kind, welcoming and supportive. I could never EVER recommend another physical therapy establishment after coming here. I have compared my progress with Optimum Physical Therapy alongside my friends who have had the same operation but went to other PTs and I am farther along in my progress than they are even though their operation was 3 months before mine. My 5 year old daughter recently broke her elbow and needed physical therapy after being in a full arm cast for 5 weeks. I called many places in lower Westchester but most don't treat kids younger than 7. The PT places that specialize in pediatric therapy did not have availability for weeks. Optimum Physical Therapy made an exception for my daughter and have been absolutely amazing with her care. My daughter's arm has quickly made remarkable improvement in strength and range of motion. The noticeable differences are remarkable from session to session. What makes Optimum exceptional is that they make PT so fun for my little girl. She absolutely loves going and fills the place with laughters from having such a great time. We are very grateful for the kind, accommodating, and amazing staff at Optimum. A quick update on Optimum... they just moved to a brand new location on Central Park Ave. The new facilities are absolutely amazing. I love the bright windows, new machines, lockers, etc. Unfortunately I rolled my ankle out and fell badly but I am very confident that the therapists at Optimum will help me strengthen my ankle to prevent another incident. read more

**DO NOT WALK--RUN FROM THIS PLACE if you can** Front desk staff very pleasant and accommodating, but the physical therapy does more harm than good. I'm now in therapy to UNDO the damage done to my knee. Sought second and third opinions, and the other physical therapists were shocked when I shared the regiment at Optimum. The funny part is Optimum called to find out why I hadn't returned. After I explaining that I was in a lot of pain after my last session with them, radio silent. Stay far away from this place! The owner is nuts! She almost broke my back with a massage that caused pain for days worse than what I went for. After that the massages were too weak and very short. She forces her BS political opinions on you. I go to therapy for treatment not to listen to her BS and get bad treatment. 1 star given as the gym instructor is decent and some staff is ok but overall the owner made it a disaster. What's important in a physical therapy office? knowledgable staff. check on-time appointments check (very rare) - no waiting positive attitudes from all check (everyone is very pleasant & friendly) attentive therapists check (you are always being monitored) + your own attitude yes, we are in pain otherwise we would not be in PT, but if you have a positive attitude and are aware that you are being well cared for by professionals, Optimum PT is outstanding . I felt extremely comfortable as soon as I walked in and this was my first visit! I was taken care of immediately by the receptionists and the therapists. They made me feel well cared for and I felt I was in good hands. They are understanding and very professional in their manner. I recommend Optimum Physical Therapy located at 2150 CPK avenue in Yonkers and encourage you to seek your physical therapy from them as they are a professional team that works and communicates together for the people they assist Doctors from every town. I have seen them first hand assist people in so much pain and in the time frames needed resolve many issues for shoulders, necks, arms, ankles, backs you name it. What they have done for me in 6 weeks i couldnt compare to any physical therapy i have done for like 2 years. There are not enough good things that I can say about Optimum PT. My first visit with them was several years ago after a car accident which injured my neck, back and both knees. They were wonderful and due to their expertise I was able to function without pain. Over the years, my injuries will periodically "act up" and Optimum has always been accommodating and professional. Recently, I was unable to walk or move without excruciating pain. I have a new MD and the PT referral was sent to a different & supposedly highly respectable PT facility. When I called that facility, I was told that I could not be seen until the middle of December (4 weeks later). There was no compassion about my situation. I called the doctor and told her that I wanted the referral sent to Optimum (which I should have done from the beginning). The doctor sent the referral that morning and I was seen by Gina that same afternoon. Margaret, Gina, and their staff are always caring, compassionate and professional.
