Beware; Sketchy at best. Quoted $175 to pick-up a ~150# sofa…read moreand dump for an additional $50. Showed up 30 min. late for pickup, 30 min. later work was complete. Then asked for an additional $150 to dump. When challenged they said they were going to warehouse the sofa, but we could go to the dump to pay the disposal fee, probably betting we would cave in. We decided to go to the dump to see the real cost. Based on weight $10 was the cost of disposal. Of course, the pick-up immediately changed to an hourly rate to include trip to the dump. The advertised Richland Land Fill rate is $10 per load up to 1200#, surely this outfit knows this. They advertise "Veteran Owned"; with claims like that I'd expect straight shooters. As a disabled veteran, I don't expect special treatment just fair; honor stated quotes. Edited: Received phone call from vendor who was somewhat upset over the above review. A veteran's discount was then offered but not accepted, again not looking for special treatment. If real, discounts should be advertised or offered at time of job request. Edited review to remove text that bothered them. Of course, my "claim" to be a disabled veteran was questioned...real class act. DD-214 and VA disability classification available upon request. I'll be gone in a couple years so my concern for their feelings is rapidly fading.

They showed up on time, loaded quickly, and delivered everything safely. The price was fair and clearly communicated. I have used other movers - Pom-Arleau was better in every respect.

They arrived at 10 and were very polite and helpful, easy to work with and took good care moving my items. They finished at 12:15 and told me the total would be $545. When I pointed out that it was 2 hours and 15 minutes of work I was told that didn't include travel time because they hit some traffic. $140 to drive their own car to my house. I challenged this and they took $50 off so I only had to pay $90 for them to drive to my house. I was not told that a 9:30 am starting time meant they would START driving to my location at at time and I was also not told the $180 an hour would be charged for their travel time as well. My neighbors are moving next month and so are my parents and they were both planning on using this company and now they refuse to because of this and we will be letting others know to avoid this business. Your stuff will be moved well but it will cost you a fortune depending on how much traffic they may encounter on their way to your house. If I was informed of this practice ahead of time I would have asked where they were located and what their ARRIVAL time at my residence was going to be so I could estimate how much extra it was going to cost me because $140 to drive to my house is crazy.

This was in spite of the fact that we had email proof that we had done that. They told us they would try to find us a driver and would send a crew to come load the truck a day later than scheduled. We had to leave as scheduled, so we had to have a friend oversee the load for us. They put our things in storage until they could find a driver. We told them they could deliver any day the following week except Monday, because we had to go sign on the house on Monday morning. Our kids got sick on the cross country drive. While in the hospital on Saturday with one kid, we got a call from our driver stating that she was going to deliver at 8 am on Monday morning. We told her that we couldn't do that because we didn't even have ownership of the house yet. She said she had to deliver on Monday or she didn't know when she would be back. She called back later to say she could wait until 10:30. She said she needed a cashier's check for the full amount before she could open the door to unload the truck. Since they couldn't tell me the cost until it was loaded and on the way, I didn't know the cost yet. Neither did the driver. The office in Moses Lake was closed for the weekend and wouldn't be open until 10 am Central Time. So we had to make them wait to unload while my parents got them a cashier's check (the only way to get the funds on that short of notice). I could not be at the house to check off each item unloaded because I had to take my other child to the hospital, so I was not aware until later that we were missing a large piece of my daughter's bed frame as well as a couple other items. Mayflower/United denied our claim for missing items because we signed off. Yeah, that's not what I could focus on that day. They did a good job of loading and moving the items, but there was so much that went wrong, I would have a very difficult time recommending them.
