I have been seeing Dr. Whitfield for 10-15 years. He bought out a previous practice years ago I was…read morealready a patient of and I stuck with him. He is a funny quirky guy but he is efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and always on time. I have never had to wait for him. The office is clean, organized, and covid friendly. It is small and feels a bit cluttered but I think his practice has out grown his space and he is using every square foot of that office that he can. Which from a business perspective is smart. He offers preventive, cosmetic, implants, and Invisalign's. I'm sure he offers much more that I don't even know about. His front end staff is so sweet and kind. I am from the south and she (Carmen) reminds me of my auntie or sister. I have lots of dental fears and they work with me to ensure I am comfortable and ready to move forward before we do anything. All financials are easily explained and discreetly taken care of. The hygienists tend to turn over quickly but I think that is the nature of the dental field. I've only ever had one I didn't like there and I quickly fixed that. My only recommendation is to open maybe one evening a month or one Friday a month. A Monday to Thursday 7/8-4pm schedule is hard for those parents who are home with virtual schooling and you cannot bring them along to these appointments. :-( Keep up the good work Dr. Whitfield!

I found her to be very personable and professional. We spent the first 15 minutes just reviewing my history and what my problems were. She asked a lot of good questions and gave me time to really explain what I was feeling and what the ramifications of my back pain were. I felt heard. She then had me bring my husband into the exam room to make sure he understood exactly what she was finding. I very much appreciated that so that he heard what I was hearing at the same time. I have another appointment with her in 2 weeks (due to my travel schedule) and am looking forward to getting a great treatment plan from her put into action.

Disclaimer: I never worked with this team directly as a patient however the way that they treated…read moreme for getting a diagnosis and help for severe sleep apnea for my husband is worth providing in this review. The following is an email directly to the team today (roughly two months after first contacting them) and how I was treated by the receptionist there: Hello, I had called probably close to 2 months ago and I had called to get my husband in to be seen for severe sleep apnea. I had told the receptionist (and I'm so sorry I don't remember her name - because busy couple of months *smiles*) but due to his Kaiser insurance (awful) it would have been really expensive and all that. Despite that she was concerned as I told her my husband almost choked himself out in his sleep one night and she was asking if we wanted to do a temporary mouth piece to which we declined at the time but the thought and care was SO appreciated and not forgotten. So as a wife who got to inherit this through marriage (I laugh now and you will see why in a moment), your receptionist lit a fire under me to get this really tested and get a solution for my husband. I made a deal - you go to the doctor I will go to the doctor (because Kaiser requires a family medicine visit before doing the focused sleep study). They did his physical and put him on high blood pressure medicine (symptom of sleep apnea). Well finally today fast forward he got approved to get a CPAP machine! So I work in sales and generally before Covid, I think it's greatly necessary to recognize people that go above and beyond and now with Covid times do that more than ever. I want to once again but even more so thank your receptionist for having a kind heart, being a resource, and lighting my fire to get a solution for my husband. He has dealt with this since being a child and soon he will get his first good night sleep (hopefully) in roughly 35 years. (He's 45 so I'm rounding haha). But wanted to thank you and your team because although we didn't work with you this go around, you were an immense reason we got to today in our family so thank you!
