WARNING - Consider yourself warned! Move for Less, LLC move our furniture and some boxes to our new home. Two of the three movers that arrived at our home were not experienced at all. The lead mover, Rob, was the only one who knew what he was doing. The incident: the two inexperienced movers moved our appliances into the upstairs laundry and by doing so badly damaged the door. There is a deep gouge on the solid wood door. We have pictures of the damage. Further, they damaged the railing going up the stairs. All the damage was pointed out to the lead mover Rob, who stated that Renee from the office would send me a claims form in the coming days. She did, and I've completed as requested. Rob showed up the following weekend with some paint for the railing and stain for the door. Unfortunately, the stain DID NOT correct the deep gouge on the door and is to this day damaged. At that time, Rob informed me that the door would have to be professionally refinished and stated that Renee would be in touch the following week. A week went by without anyone reaching out to rectify the situation, before I was asked to complete yet another claims form, which I did. At that time, Renee asked me to get a quote from a company to have the damaged fixed. Not knowing anyone in the area, a Google search lead me to The Refinishing Center. Having described to them the damage, they provided me with a quote which was forwarded to Renee at Move For Less. Again, weeks went by without any response or plan of action to get the damaged fixed. I've called several times, but no one calls me back. I've emailed Renee frequently, only to be told that the 'claims' department is looking into the issue. I simply can't stress enough the questionable business ethics of the people that work for Move for Less, LLC. If you're a potential customer looking to have your belongings moved, do you really want to risk the possibility of a similar experience? Personally, I wish I would have been warned about this horrible company ahead of my move. read more

We were shopping around for moving service called about a month in advance was given a complete rundown of the pricing, and provided an estimate of the items we would need moved. Jerome was helping me with everything, he was very professional and went straight to the point of cost. We had an 830-930am arrival time and the guys called at about 9am advising they were 15mins out and were extremely professional. They greeted me and my husband and took inventory of our items. Now on to the actual move...the gentleman(Chris I think was one of their names) knew what they were doing. They had no problem moving the requested boxes, and disassembled multiple pieces of furniture without complaint, they even were very upfront about a game system we were going to have the pack but they said we should take it ourselves, they let us know what they couldn't or didn't feel comfortable disassembling, which I completely appreciate (the upfront honesty is priceless). They even at the last minute were advised that we needed "junk" furniture removed, they were very accommodating with that as well. They reassembled the furniture at our new home again quickly and without complaint and very professional as it was a very long day for everyone. None of our furniture was damaged and the price was about the same as quoted( we went over our quoted time), which was not a big deal. The whole process was stress free, it's always difficult moving in any circumstance and this company made this process easy. read more

I literally signed up for Yelp just to write this review... And what a glowing review it is. I could not be happier, seriously. From start to finish, I've had an amazing experience with Move 4 Less. I worked with Renee, who was very polite and helpful. I moved a one bedroom apartment, and booked two hours for two movers on my moving day (12/30/16). I paid the travel fee to secure my date, and cash upon completion of the move. Simple as that. My move had to be pushed back a couple of hours due to some scheduling issues on their end, but to accommodate me, they added an extra mover to assist. My move was completed in two hours on the dot, even with my poor packing skills (lol). They had everything, from tape and furniture pads to TV covers and plastic wrap. They even covered my newly carpeted floor while moving furniture in because of snow. And to top it all off, they set up my bedroom, and positioned my furniture for me. They even moved my freezer around (about a thousand times per my request lol) to make sure I was able to move freely around in the storage area. I just want to say thank you so much to this company. Moving is so stressful, and my move was so spur of the moment. I am still flabbergasted as to how I was unpacked in one day, thanks to how efficient my move was. And just in time for the new year! Over the past year, I have used Move For Less several times. This was a very stressful time for my family as we were caring for aging parents, illnesses, and multiple home moves all at the same time. The reason I used Move For Less for ALL of the moves was because the first time was such a positive experience that I really wanted to give them more of our business. I would say that they have a very strong overall culture of being professional but very kind at the same time. So rare today. Every person person I interacted with, from the scheduler to the movers, instilled confidence and showed kindness and respectfulness in the way they communicated and followed through with their work during this difficult time for us. They packed up and protected the items being moved, moved it all with no damage, and set everything up in the new residence(s). They even made stops to drop off items being donated elsewhere so that we wouldn't need to do that later as a separate step. And their prices were very reasonable. I feel compelled to share my experience with Move For Less so others can make an informed decision. From the outset, things felt off. The individuals who showed up to do the move didn't appear to be professional movers--they clearly had little to no experience handling furniture. There was no care or technique involved, and it quickly became clear that they had likely just been hired without any training. More than that, I felt genuinely uncomfortable with the crew. Professionalism was lacking, both in attitude and in behavior. When someone is in your home and handling your personal belongings, you expect a certain level of respect, courtesy, and competence. Unfortunately, none of that was present. To make matters worse, a door was damaged while they were moving a piece out of a room--an avoidable incident if proper skill or care had been used. No real apology, no offer to make it right. Just more evidence that this was a rushed job by unqualified workers. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. Moving is stressful enough--what you don't need is a team that makes you feel uneasy in your own space and treats your home like an afterthought. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with the team and their process from my first phone call until they pulled away from my new home. I had several antique furniture pieces that needed to be moved--which meant moving heavy pieces with a great deal of care. From the first phone call, I was assured the moving crew would know the nature of my furniture and also assured of the process they would use to protect my furniture. When "moving day" arrived, the team followed the process to the letter--they called to tell me they were on their way, then again when they arrived (right on time!). We walked through the move quickly, and then they got right to work. I was impressed first by the fact that they moved my furniture with clothes still in drawers and books still on shelves. Even more, I was impressed by the way they kept my furniture organized for unloading at the new location. Some things were being put in storage--and they even had the attention to detail to use a blanket I owned rather than one of their pads so that the item could stay wrapped/padded in storage. A family member just moved from a nursing home to a hospice facility. We needed to clean out her room, and she was being charged by the day. Move 4 Less moved her to that room, two years ago. I was pleased with their work at that time, so when it became time to move her again, of course, I called Move 4 Less again. They were able to schedule her move for the next day, Mother's Day! The men were on time, and willing, and considerate. They got her things, and called me as they were leaving the first facility, and called me again when they reached her new room, and when they were done unloading there. Then they had to make a third stop at my home to deliver something she did not want anymore. They kept me posted as to their arrival time. Again, they were right on time, and were pleasant and considerate, with both the property and me. I can't recommend this company more highly! Excellent! read more

I cannot say enough how much I want to thank Move for Less! This is the only moving company I would ever recommend! I had to coordinate a move for my son and his roommates this summer and Renee was outstanding! My son is in college in Cleveland but I live in MI. Not knowing the area or where to start, she walked me thru the process, recommended storage facilities, stayed in contact throughout the process and followed up to make sure all went well. She is a true gem! Customer service above and beyond!! The day of the move, the movers were professional, pleasant and extremely careful while being efficient and quick! Great experience with Julian, Tony, CJ, and Renee. They were respectful and responsive during the estimate process (Renee and Julian), even with phone calls back and forth when I had to change the time of my move. I ran into a few glitches that set us back on time the day of the move (problems with the apartment complex, not the movers) but the 3 guys went with the flow and were flexible. They brought a great sense of humor and completed the job quickly. They were respectful of my stuff - made sure to take care not to damage anything - whereas I've had prior experiences with other companies that were going for speed regardless of the nicks on the walls. I had an opportunity to use the services of MOVE FOR LESS this past Thursday November 29th. They did an EXCELLENT job. The two man team (sorry I didn't get their names) were not only highly experienced and professional, but were very warm and friendly. We had a couch that couldn't fit into our elevator. These men without hesitation used the stairs - from the 5th floor to the 1st, without hesitation. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to anyone needing a moving service. Move for less made my move so much easier, they showed up on time, dealt with all my apartments difficult moving procedures, and found the quickest and easiest route from the apartment to their truck. My new apartment didn't have an elevator, and I had some very heavy furniture, but my movers made it look easy and put everything where I wanted it with a smile on their faces. Seriously couldn't have asked for a better move! And they did it right under the next hour, which would've got them more money, but they worked super fast to make sure I paid the minimum only. I would highly recommend Moving-4-Less. We have used Moving-4-Less on multiple occasions without an issue. We are a demanding customer and on this particular move we had a small hiccup. Irrespective of the hiccup I would still highly recommend Moving-4-Less. Why? This is a family owned company that is concerned about their customers and their reputation. I highly recommend this company for your moving and packing needs. The owner of the company, Terrence, came to my Mom's house and gave us an accurate estimate of the packing supplies and manpower needs required to pack a POD for a cross-country move. He also suggested ways to help us consolidate and eliminate, which further helped to lower our costs. He and his crew showed up on time, were polite, careful and efficient. Both guys (Jim & Ivan) were fantastic and easy to work with. So glad you were able to schedule the move the day after I received the equipment.
