Run from this company!!! Had our heirloom piano moved from our house to my daughter's house in January 2017. They broke the music stand and damaged the floor in my daughter's new home. They came through (after several calls) on fixing the music stand. However, now they're questioning our form of payment because they fired the person I'd been dealing with. Do not use this company for moving services! I was weary to purchase from them because of all the bad reviews but they had great prices so I decided to get more info. When I asked about the reviews I was told that the company had recently changed owners and the old reviews were from the old company. Whether that is true or not we still had a horrible experience. We found a great piano that we love but the two guys that moved it into our home were inexperienced and damaged our floors because they did not have the right equipment. Jay, the owner, gave us the run around saying he would pay to fix our floors and eventually ghosted us. We got a discounted piano but now have $8k of damage to our hardwood floors that we have to pay for out of pocket. I am so disappointed that we were lied to. Update: Scheduled a piano movers for 8/23/17, at 9:00am, and surprise when no one showed up to move the piano...... could not contact anyone who worked there to find out what happened. This is obviously no longer an actual business that is moving pianos, avoid like the plague!!!!!!! Jeremiah, Chris, Russel, and Nick came to complete my piano move. They were courteous, timely, and professional. They moved my piano with no problem, even though it was on the large and heavy side down stairs. Would use again next time I need to move my piano, and am glad they do moving too I will use them for my upcoming move! read more

Avoid this company! I paid for full service move, explained piano was in basement of an old house. The two employees who arrived were fine but not properly equipped for the job at hand which required at least 3, better 4, adults to accomplish. They were also sent with only a single small dolly with tiny wheels, suited to move a piano from one side of the room to another. I ended up spending 2 x hours helping to move the piano, along with 2 others I recruited for the task..5 total required while they sent 2. I called Move and Tune Pianos to express concern and received an annoyed response, stating, "the piano got moved, didn't it?". I was assured a return call which never came, hoping I would go away. On my 2nd return call, was told, "the piano was moved, so no partial refund or any other compensation". Extremely rude management, incompetent service. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

Scamming churches now, Move and Tune has ignored multiple requests (phone, letters, facebook messages, in-person attempts) for refund of prepaid tunings for this year. After more than 8 months, we've not seen a refund. Our church had to have other professionals come to fix our grands after the Move and Tune 'tuner' made ours sound so bad they couldn't be played for services. It pains me to leave a bad review but it seems we have no other recourse. Maybe you could ask them to move it but tuning it is a different story. read more

Attached the legs of our Grand Piano incorrectly and have been mostly unresponsive in remedying the situation. Go elsewhere.

They bailed on me the day of my move. Day of the move, I got a voicemail a half hour before they were supposed to be there, telling me that they got in an "accident" and offering me a date a week later. read more

Never ever ever use this company!! I hired them to pick up a piano and move it to my house. They didn't show up on time the first time, knowing I had to leave at a specific time, which was 1.5 hours after they were supposed to be at my house! They rescheduled again, then again came 2 hrs late. Again I had left when they didn't show up as it was a Saturday morning and we had sporting events to attend. When they finally delivered the piano, 3 weeks late, they tried to charge me $50 more than the $200 they originally quoted me, for storage of the piano. Unbelievable!! They don't return calls. We used Move and Tune to move our piano and during the move our piano was badly damaged. This company would not stand behind their mistake and would not repair our piano. I am extremely disappointed in this company and would NEVER use them again or suggest them to anyone I know. read more

I'm revising my review of Move and Tune Piano's as they have completely resolved the issue. My piano has been tuned, the man they sent to tune paid a lot of attention to it, and it sounds beautiful. They also did a great job of moving it, including flipping it on it's side (it's an upright piano) to get it in a small elevator and into my apartment. Thank's guys! read more

I had scheduled a move with another company, who told me that my piano would not be a problem. At the last minute I found out the piano would be a problem.... Move & Tune scheduled me at the last minute for a move across town. I should have just called them in the beginning since they have moved my piano on another occasion, and took very good care of it. This company is wonderful. My piano is very important to me, and I really appreciate the care taken with moving it. I just can not say enough how they helped me at the last minute with an emergency move. read more

Kept canceling on us eventhough we moved our schedules. They never bothered to call us to let us know of the cancellation. They were very unprofessional and rude when they were the ones that messed up. I fired them and went with a different company. read more

These guys are GREAT!!!! We live on third floor of an old converted Victorian house. 4 flights of stairs with a narrow turn at each. We weren't sure if anyone could even get it up to our place. These guys came in and at first weren't sure either! But they took the time to carefully assess and after studying it for a bit said they thought they could do it but it was going to be tight! The were right! It was tight, but they were able to accomplish where I'm sure many would have just given up! Not only did they get our piano up to our place but they did so carefully and without any damage!!! Thier prices were very reasonable and the guys were very proffessional. They were there on time and did an outstanding job!! Thank you so much Move and Tune!! We would HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone looking for a great mover!!! read more

I would not recommend this company. Dave assured me on the phone that my grand piano would be placed on a dolli and moved to another room. When the movers arrived, they decided, against my protests, that it wasn't worth the effort to do it that way. They put blankets under the legs and the 2 men scooted it across the carpet. Finally, 2 other carpenters watching them, jumped in and helped. We did not have them come back. I was still charged $150 for the move. I would never suggest using this company. read more

DO NOT Support this company, They took advantage of us, lied and manipulated and after searching online further for reviews it appears that this is normal business etiquette for these guys. We promised someone would contact us to schedule our tuning after the piano "acclimated to our home". A week after it was moved, no one contacted us. We called and they said the person who tunes in our area would be contacting us, they never did. More then 3 weeks passed and they kept giving us the runaround until finally someone told us that because we didn't pay for the tuning upfront, which we did, they couldn't send someone out. It was just enough timing for them to cash our check and screw us over. Not only did they steal our $$$ they also had an employee who carried our baby grand piano reeking of alcohol. Thankfully nothing happened but needless to say this company is very unprofessional and unethical. read more
