This salon doesn't try the "Tropical Tiki Bungalow" look, instead opting for a warm, clean, and streamline atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, never too pushy or trying to sucker you into buying anything for a commission sale (again differing from some of their competitors). They used to offer student discounts with a valid student photo ID, but I'm not sure if they still do. If you walk in on the right day, they might have a sweet sale going on!! They also have a great selection of well-known and favored tanning lotion brands. I had tanned here for around 3-4 years on-and-off, and they offer great package deals and bundles that are appropriately priced for the area. I've only stopped visiting because I moved. I only had one snafu a while back, and I'm sure this happens at ANY tanning salon. One new employee that was clearly just a bad hire didn't clean my bed very well, if at all. She did it twice. Regardless of how good/bad a business is, you can't blame them for hiring one bad egg. I took my concern to management thereafter, and what could have been a terrible customer experience, turned out to be one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I was taken very seriously. The manager understood completely and I have a feeling that their worst fears were confirmed: that they had accidentally hired a rude and lazy bimbo. They fully reimbursed me even though I was content with a partial refund. There are bigger businesses that are far less generous to their customers! This sort of thing can happen with any business. The difference is that these guys know how to respectfully deal with a serious issue if one ever arises. I applaud them for that!! Needless to say, that employee doesn't work there anymore. Elite Images has a wonderful reputation for cleanliness and some great, genuine people that aren't fakely trying to sell you products until you're orange. Instead of shopping at big competitors that have bought out all the small, locally owned tanning shops, and probably just want memberships and commissions, I say go here. This will always be my favorite tanning salon in Holland. From what I've seen, all of their customers feel very welcome and are treated like VIPs. Plus, they have a cozy little hair salon that I need to visit next time I am in town!
