I had ordered 2 TacRacks for my Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm and Springfield XD 9mm. Both came very quickly for starters. I then installed the one for the Smith and Wesson without a hitch. When I tried to install the XD's, it didn't quite go in all of the way. I contacted Mounting Solutions Plus about my problem and, after submitting a few photos of my XD, they went to work to figure out what was the problem. They called the TacRack company and worked with their engineers and found out that Springfield sometimes puts an XDM slide on an XD (and, without an XDM logo). The problem is that the XDM is ever so slightly smaller towards the middle and top of the slide. There aren't many XD's this way. Mounting Solutions Plus kept in contact with me and when the TacRack manufacturer sent them a new TacRack for MY XD, they forwarded it to me. Mounting Solutions Plus is also paying the return shipping for the TacRack that fits the regular XD to them. You read so many reviews of companies that have marginal, at best, customer service. Mounting Solutions Plus could have just had me return the original TacRack and be done with me. However, they dug deep to find the reason, educate themselves AND made a huge fan and return client out of me. I will also let all of my gun friends know about them. I purchased the rear sight slide-in replacement piece for my Ruger Mark II. After searching every Internet site I could think of, and contacted several online suppliers for means of mounting a holographic sight on my pistol, I was exhausted.. Using a bipod rail helps protect the stock and allows for the purchase of one higher end bipod to easily be moved from one rifle to the next. For that I recommend Harris/Larue or Sierra 7. Good value and quality product. Burris FF3 mount for Glock. I would have like to see a little more detail of the mount visually and descriptively. I though it would be one I saw on a friend's glock that had a tapered/curve so it fit more flush to the slide, but it is straight flat leaving a shelf.
