Before we started i was asked what i hoped to gain told them my child was potty training i would love for it if they continued; then i noticed on her reports she had more wet diapers than potty tries. I inquired about this they said i was layering too much! reduce the layers and now she only wore sweatpants still the same, they said the pull up i provided were not the right ones and i need to use the ones that they used. My husband got the ones that they wanted but still the wet diapers were more. when i inquired how frequent she was put on the potty i get a call telling me that my daughter is acting different crying all day and they have kids to attend too since she is not the only one. My baby was 26 months and could not be comforted when she was in distress as if they are providing me free services or they do not know the number of kids in the class. In the morning when i went to drop her off the teacher at the door completely ignored us another teacher had to come to great us. if possible i would give them 0 stars. When i went to pick my child's belonging they didn't even bother to inquiry how she was doing. Just passing by the school gives her truama so much so that she know our entire route to home she will call out the ice cream place her doctor's office mere shopping but pretend when we get to that school

People can be really lovely and will let you out and it's certainly easier in the summer months to do the school run. Enough said. Moving on... We moved our 18 month-old here after leaving Knowledge Beginnings in Maynard after they lost him one day on the playground. He then went to another daycare for a transition period but that was shutdown due to a (very expensive) typhoid outbreak. So my son enrolled in NGCC after being at a series of schools with compliance violations from losing kids to unvaccinated staff. As an obsessive researcher of all things, I'm pleased to note that NGCC's state compliance records are gorgeous, suitable for framing. We enrolled our LO in NGCC blindly after a recommendation from another parent who left KinderCare and enrolled their LO at NGCC with great results. We loved the data and information that NGCC shared with us about development and preparation for Kindergarten. (As a mildly obsessive PhD, I love all the data and learning opportunities!) It made us feel confident that we were making a good choice for LO and that he would thrive there. I can say that after about a month at NGCC, LO loves it. I love that it's like a proper school setting with a professional front desk, excellent security, it's set back from the road, leadership is accessible, and staff seem content and loyalty is strong. The cost of care is very reasonable and I feel like I should be paying more for the services we receive as part of tuition! The facilities are wonderful, too. I feel great arriving at 4.55 or 5.00 on the dot to find a parking lot and lobby full of other working parents which was utterly absent from the KinderCare and the transitional school. There's an unspoken camaraderie among working parents which is reassuring. They give him lunch every day which has helped us expand his palate and nutritional options and also given us back some time in the evening as a family. Overall, he's sleeping better, no more mysterious bumps and bruises, if he gets a bump, someone calls me immediately, and he's just overall a happier little guy. They're so hands-on and very in-tune with child development. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend NGCC to anyone and it's not surprising there's a high demand for placement there!

We love the school's outdoor garden and the easy access to local playgrounds. We love that the staff encourages age-appropriate independence as well as inclusiveness. Our child has grown in confidence and learned to make new friends and is completely comfortable with them. The teachers are warm and loving, and our child always hugs them goodbye. The school encourages children to explore, take risks while staying safe, and solve problems to learn together. The school is thoughtful about activities and grouping children of different ages together. Our own child has benefited from friendships with children who are older and younger. While Kesher includes teaching about Jewish holidays and some Hebrew words, the school is welcoming toward people of all backgrounds and traditions. Above all, we love how Kesher promotes the development of relationships to build community; the connection between home and school is recognized and valued. Not only have we observed children help one another, but families communicate and come together to recognize the hard work and loving care that the teachers provide to their children. This communication makes learning and growing an actively collaborative and engaging process.

The director and the teachers are so engaged with the kids and its an incredibly warm and welcoming community. We originally visited the school when it was located in Cushing Square. The space was fun and interactive but the new space has really allowed the school to grow in both capacity and programming. It's bright and sunny with plenty of room for more creative play and planned activities. It has an adjacent playground as well as a nearby park for more lengthy outdoor activities. The school provides several special activities which our son loves. Habitat, the Mass Audubon education center, regularly visits his class and provides hands-on exposure to the local fauna. They are also regularly visited by Hugh Hanley, a local musician who leads an hour of song and story telling. These are particularly fun days to be a parent helper in the classroom. Since this was our first foray into school for our son, we are very glad we chose a coop program. It allows us to see our son in his school environment and better understand his development and how we can help shape his growth both at school and home. We also get to know and work with other parents and families in the area. The teachers provide regular feedback which is encouraging and helpful. We particularly love the director who is constantly in the rooms with each group of kids and consistently checks in with us. I would highly recommend this school to anyone but would strongly urge families to look into the program sooner rather than later as the school regularly has a wait list.

Everyone on the teaching staff is extremely committed, detail-oriented, and caring. They are working really hard to create a fun, engaging environment, and to make sure that every child is included and enjoying the experience. The classroom is organized thoughtfully, with an impressive range of activities always available to the children plus daily curriculum plans that include developmentally appropriate and seasonal enrichment activities, and also the year's enrichment activities from outside visitors included theater, music, yoga, and art. There is always so much going on at this school, and yet it manages to feel comfortable and homelike for the kids. We have also really appreciated the co-op aspect of it, since we recently moved to the area from out-of-state. The school has a wonderful mix of families and they have all been very welcoming. This school feels like a close-knit family with teaching geniuses at the helm. I love it, the kids love it, and I can't believe we were lucky enough to find it.

Every teacher he's had has shown him genuine warmth and support, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. The center has helped him grow and learn so much--it's incredible to see his development over time. One of the things I appreciate most is the center's high level of involvement with families. They regularly host fun, family-friendly events that make us feel like a real part of the community. We initially chose The Learning Experience because of the strong curriculum and the nurturing environment, and it has absolutely lived up to our expectations. We had a really hard, frustrating and short lived experience with this school. My son (4) joined in June '21 because we'd moved too far from the daycare he'd been at since 18months. At first sight, the school seemed like a good fit. The owner, Dipak, gave us a tour and he seemed nice. We didn't meet the teacher prior to enrolling because I'd heard such amazing things about other Goddard locations. The problems started Day 1. I called to speak with the teacher reiterate that my son shouldn't take naps, and that he needs encouragement with the potty. His teacher was incredibly rude to me. Told me that all the children nap, basically tough luck. We communicated this with the director, Beth, (who as an aside, Is a super sweet caring lady we really liked, if only everyone else there was like that), and we worked out that we would send in a little bag of toys every day to have my son play with during nap time. We don't think it worked, he was never tired at the end of the day, and more than once he told us his teacher told him not to tell us he slept. (Who knows what's true with a 4 year old but when he wouldn't even fall asleep during a car ride at 9 pm, we felt pretty confident he was napping.) Next was the TV- we asked him what his favorite part of the day was and he excitedly told us "when we watched the episode of Peep and the Big Wide World." I was shocked, I'd never heard of a school playing show for the kid. I was told it's just during transition times and said it was fine but obviously a surprise and not our preference. Then a few weeks later my son started telling us "How come you don't let me watch shows at school?" Or "Miss Ornela lets the other kids watch shows but not me." He started regressing in potty training and still to this day tells us about how mean the teachers were when he had accidents. At a pick up, my partner asked if he had an accident and in front of our son, his teacher very harshly and abruptly said "it's not an accident, this kid simply isn't potty trained." He came home one time in tears so hungry, telling me that the teacher wouldn't let him eat his snacks (he still had snacks in his lunchbox). I personally saw how the staff spoke to the children at pick up and got a weird vibe. Lots of harsh commands, short tempers, something was off. And we tried to communicate all or most of these issues with management. Beth certainly tried her best to help, but the owner never did. And nothing every changed. He only lasted the summer here before we moved him to a Montessori school in the next town. Just 2.5 weeks in, he's falling asleep at 7:30, loving going to school, has had no accidents at school, is eager to go every morning, and even had some good speech progression (his new teacher helped him finally say Fs). The saddest part for us is he keeps telling us how awesome it is that "the teachers at the new school are actually nice."
