I love living here. Esther and Alex are a great management team and super nice. The apartment itself is spacious and up to date modern. The apartments are quiet and relaxing. Moved out in spring of 2022, was impossible to get ahold of management despite calling daily, going by office, no one ever returned calls. After move out was given $110 refund of deposit within 21 days, assumed all settled. No other contact made by management. They have all my contact info. Suddenly in April 2024--almost two years later--I'm told I owe them $421 and will be sent to collections if I don't pay within 30 days for carpet, etc when we moved out almost two years before. They clearly waited until I would not have access to the portal and all long since settled. I contacted a lawyer and was told this is technically legal so had to pay. Do not trust this company one bit! read more

I lived at mountain view apartments for 1 1/2 years and it was a great experience. Beautiful landscaping, big pool , plenty of shade, super nice neighbors, quite neighborhood and reasonable rent. Rented a 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit with three other girls during our last year of college. Our overall stay was okay. The only reason I'm rating this a one star was because my moving process was a disaster and the property management team was not helpful and downright unprofessional. They charged us extra days for staying past our lease but the fact was we had all turned in our key and we had already cut electrical services to our unit. They then claimed we never returned all the keys to them but in reality, they had misplaced it but later found it. I had to take multiple trips to the office to dispute the extra day charges. The assistant property manager then was just not helpful and lagged on everything. I had to always email them for a response back. Then it took them all together 6 months after our move out date to finally clear out all the charges and give our security deposit but that was only because we wrote them a letter to take them to small claims court. And now, when I think I've finally cut off all ties from this apartment and its management, I get a call from a debt collector company stating that I have a charged amount from Mountain View. But when I contacted Mountain View, they say my balance is $0 and that I don't own them anything. They say that the debt collector doesn't have the updated info. Like what even?!? How do you not communicate such important info and it's already been a year since I moved out. Overall, my moving out process was a mess and stressful. The management team was just downright unprofessional with no communications skills whatsoever. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different place. read more

Idk why the reviews suck so much. I love living here. Every maintenance request I put in gets resolved same day. Management is helpful. Place is clean and I've never had a single issue with my neighbors or parking. Noise level around the pool sucks sometimes but overall it's a great family friendly place to live. I have young children and I feel safe as ever living here. read more

Again the water was shut off and again there was NO NOTICE to me that it was going to be DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU WITH ALL THE PRETTY WORDS YOU GET WHEN YOU COME TO SEE THE PROPERTY, Its ONLY WORDS, then the issues start. I am living with my family here for 2 years and we are pretty happy with the maintenance and upkeep of property. Apartment complex is good. Distinctively, it has a good sized park with Play area so my kids can play inside complex. All of the management staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Denise is wonderful. She always stay on the top of the any issue reported. Most of the service requests are taken care within 24 hours . I am really proud to call this community my home. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! They gave me the run around for weeks...Took several months to get my deposit back. I was promised a certain price, put a holding deposit and then they switched the price on me and offered me a different apartment. Can we say "Bait and Switch"? First they said I was approved, then wasnt approved and then when I asked for a receipt for the credit check they supposedly did, they couldn't produce one. I do not recommend this place at all. This apartment complex is a DISASTER. So many little things that are going wrong inside and out. The water is dirty like brown! Constantly having water shut offs LAST MINUTE constant construction and LOUD noises in the early mornings. Sleep isn't a thing here. Roof work , gardening at 7am on weekdays. I don't know when the last time they cleaned the air ducks were dust always flying around when turning ac on. NO parking for guest! Just all around a horrible living experience. Do not recommend. Previous managements were better compared to the current one. Prior managers used to listen to the issues and understand from the point of the tenant. Current management is not friendly and so I guess that may be the reason for the way managers are. They talk nice only with the newcomers but not the same case with the old tenants. Maintenance staff are good but with the current management way of doing things not sure how long that will last. We find dog poop on the pavement and in lawns a lot of times and the worst part is the water that flows over it when it rains or when the sprinklers are on and you end up literally walking in that. Walls and floors are too thin and noisy with neighbors both horizontally and vertically. Very less understanding by the management in communicating with the neighbors about it, probably not all the times a neighbor would be aware of their noise. Washer Dryer area is in only one place for the whole apartment complex and it takes a lot of time to do the laundry if your unit is far away from it. Also, one of the tenants pointed that the dryer machines skip 1 second for every 10 seconds which means less dryer time than what shows during payment. Overall, disappointed. But if they really care, they can improve. Hope they do. read more

Been here a year now. The management team and maintenance crew are amazing. If you have a maintenance request, they are on top of it right away. Alia and April are great at listening to their residents' concerns. The atmosphere here is beautiful and the location is great, especially if you love trees like me. The shopping centers are just a bike ride away. If you're looking for a family-type environment, there's a lot of children of all ages, which has been great for my little girl. It's also pretty quiet as well, which is a hard combination to find at an apartment complex. I am about to move due to personal reasons, but I still wanted to share with a public what a great experience my daughter and I have had here. The apartment is nice. Constant construction ( roof work, turning off water) a lot of noise at all hours. Never ending lawn mowers and blowers. If it rains, walkways are flooded 3 inches. The pool is nice and large hot tub is great. Small gym is good when accessible. if you can handle noise from people, kids and tools, it can be a nice place for the price.o read more

Inititially, I was very hesitant to into an apartment complex having lived in single story homes all my life but since our children went to universities and then other states, we couldn't justify needing so much room. Our 1st request was a lower level apartment due to our mobility issues was accommodated quickly. As well as having ADA fixtures in our bathrooms. Most pleasantly, I might add. Further problems are that management has changed, and the new company attempts to squeeze every dime they can from you. Looks nice on the outside, but rotting from within. In the years we've lived here it has become more noisy, parking problems have increased. We have frequent power outages, and "emergency" water shutoffs with virtually NO warning areally becoming more frequent. Maintenence response is not as good as it used to be. We are getting more new residents who care little or nothing about keeping their shared patio areas clean, and some residents allow their dogs to poop on the lawns without cleaning it. Others allow their kids to play and ride scooters in the parking lot with no supervision, creating safety hazards. We now have gang members moving in, and there is what appears to be a "drug house" on the south side. Neighbors are using our parking lot as a public lot creating problems for residents. Repeated requests to the leasing office to address these problems are given lip service, but nothing is done. Recently, the management company tried billing us for homeowners insurance, insurance which we already had, and had already provided paperwork for. They even began sending harassing notices until they realized it was they who misplaced the paperwork. This used to be a nice place, but it's turning into a slum. But...the rent continues to climb. One positive note: the staff at the leasing office do try to help residents with issues. I suspect the problems here are rooted somewhere at the corporate level. read more

My sister and I had such a wonderful time visiting Mountain View apartment complex and found the apartment manager April Mendez to be extremely kind and helpful. She kindly and patiently answered all of our questions, followed up with us with a proposal and demonstrated a great sense of professionalism. Though we ended up applying to a different apartment, which was closer to where my school is, I found the Mountain View 2 bed 2 bath apartment to be very clean, remodeled and very cozy. We lived here 4 years and had our place sprayed about 8 times for roaches. On one occasion we couldn't put our stuff back for 6 weeks. Our first week we complained to the Management (this place has had about 3 different owners) and Roberto the former handyman brought us some roach spray.Here is what has been ruined. 2 twin beds and dresser,my sons XBOX our living room futon, our 48 in flat screen , grocery's(all thrown to the trash) . The kitchen has thousands of roaches! Ownership #2 took out the carpet because it had weeds growing and a ton of roaches, when they inspected the unit they told us the apt would (kitchen) be gutted because the roaches were in ALL THE APPLIANCES. This last ownership group did not want to do that and often put the blame on my kids. I have pleaded to these people to go after the root of the problem and not the symptom , which is get rid of the appliances, cover up the holes under the sink and remove this VERY OLD MOLDY CARPET that was here when we moved in. I feel very bad for anyone taking this unit. There was a problem with this unit with roaches b4 we moved in. read more

We lived at Mountain View for 10 months. The entire time we lived there, we had an ongoing issue with roaches. Our unit was sprayed four times and there were still tons of roaches. Things got so bad with the roach infestation that management let us brake our lease early. Do not rent at Mountain View Apartments! Roaches!! And honestly, I don't know about all these Yelp reviews praising management..because they aren't good and issues are never addressed in a timely manner. read more

I love it here, shout out to Leah and the management staff for always being super friendly. Maintenance is very fast to respond as well if ever needed. I love how quiet and relaxing this community is. Oh, and they love pets (: not to mention very kid friendly and in a great school district. Yes you pay a bit more than say Pomona, but coming from Pomona: it's worth the rent and it's not bad compared to other apartments in the area. Great place to live! Adam, the Assistant Property Manager, was extremely helpful in the entire move-in process. The community is friendly and the surrounding area is very safe. Everything from the inside out is well maintained. Very clean apartments, beautiful green scenery, and many amenities: fitness center, pool and spa with BBQs, laundry center, and more. I am currently in a two bedroom, one bath apartment and I absolutely love it! Adam is very easy to contact and communicate with if there are ever any issues or concerns.
