This place actually has a bunch of amenities for the residents. The whole complex has a mini trail with doggie bags along the whole thing. A really nice pool and hot tub with tanning areas. The management office always has drinks and snacks that you can brag whenever you want. Also Bridget, the manager, hosts events every once in a while that are actually pretty fun. After living her more than a year, I think its time i leave a review. This review is for Dana (Sorry if i misspelled your name) the service manager. From the day i moved in till now Dana has always showed a great attitude and great service when dealing with any repairs to my apartment. Things break down. It happens. But when you have someone like Dana following up and making sure it gets fixed, helps a ton! My ceiling fan recently went out, and without a doubt Dana was here next morning to assess the fan. Although it couldnt get fixed that day do to some vendor issues which is no way his fault, he communicated with me every step of the way until it got fixed. Now i have a new ceiling and im happy with how this was handled. Any time i see Dana on the property, there is always a smile coming from him and "Hey how are you doing today" every single time! Wrongfully charges extra (+$100 to $200) and always have to correct mgmt (Bridgette) every month. If you don't pay your attention to your monthly bill, then be very very CAREFUL. The REM Group, her bosses does nothing about it. I feel these other 5-stars are bots or friends making reviews. Her attitude is sour, gets easily frustrated, and lashes out. It doesn't seem like she likes her job or isn't great with people. As I am writing this, many tenants are leaving the complex due to mismanagement and unprofessionalism of Bridgette. NEW TENANT BE ADVISED. She is a headache and anxiety inducing and stressful to deal with. P.S. If you don't like pine tree sap all over your car, or have scratches or dents from pinecones, then avoid the property. read more

By far the worst manager, Bridget is so rude & unprofessional!!!!!!! We moved out since there was rats in the attic the whole 2 years we lived here causing major leaks in our bathroom ceiling, bathroom & kitchen cabinets were covered in black mold and they would just paint over it white. We moved out but my toddlers still attend the daycare that is in the apartment complex. It is pouring rain outside, my mom parked in-front of the leasing office to walk my kids into the gate since we had to turn in our gate pass AND BRIDGET CAME OUT OF THE OFFICE TO TELL MY MOM SHE CANT PARK THERE. My mom explained she was dropping the kids off at daycare really quickly, BRIDGET SAID SORRY NO BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. So my mom had out the kids back in the car and park on the side street IN THE RAIN!!!!!! read more

Today the community had a luau and this is the first one I've attended. Bridgette started these community events last year and I'm sad I missed the first one. The ambiance was "family". Dana and Bridgette treated us like family. Dana was the life of the party he's always friendly and gets out maintenance requests done in a timely manner. Bridgette did her best to help me with a recent financial issue I was having. It was heartfelt and I'm glad I got to hang out with Bridgette, Dana and my neighbors. read more

The only reason why I am giving this review a 3* is for the changes they have made in the past 6 months with the outdoor look. Regarding my one bedroom apartment all of its interior is old. They raise your rent every year + they charge on the side for utilities which are ridiculous for an adult and one child living in it. I have no clue until today how they get their numbers to charge what they charge for water, trash, sewer and pest and if you want a garage the cost is $100 monthly. Manager is so unprofessional. I do not understand how the corporate continues having her with all the reviews and complaints. The ONLY person here that works and does his job correctly and always has his best attitude to help you out with any maintenance issue is "Dana". Hopefully the corporate values all he does for this community. read more

The apartment complex itself is nice and well kept. Besides that, the laundry facilities aren't the cleanest. As well as a few issues with noisy neighbors. Spoken to management about the noise issue (neighbor excessively slamming doors all hours of the night and morning, beginning at 5:30am.) The fact I've talked to Bridgetts higher up multiple times & all they gave her was "training classes" is insane to me we pay 3,158 for a 2 bedroom to be threatened to be towed which has happened twice . The sign in the front says no parking from 8am-5pm I parked at it was 5 o clock then she comes stomping out of her office & tells me & the man parked next to me that she will be towing our cars the next time we parked here bc she said we parked here right when it turned 5!!! I've been looking for apartments for a couple of months now and I came across these apartments. I had a tour with Bridgette and she was honestly so helpful and nice. She showed me all the amenities at the property. She was super friendly and sweet! I believe that having an amazing property manager is always a plus when moving into a new home and Bridgette is just that. REVIEW UPDATE: Bridgette was NOT fantastic. Her initial attitude to get us sold on the apartment was kind and welcoming. Any moment past our initial interest was beyond pushy. We went through the process up until signing the lease and stopped. Our documents had more than a dozen errors and contradictions and we were told point blank that the errors were not going to be fixed as the documents were 'absolutely accurate'. Considering Bridgette added an additional car and an additional cat with the wrong name and refused to simply change those errors we walked away. We were not offered the initial 'discount' for 'checking in' upon initial viewing nor have we received our deposit back. We were lied to numerous times along with Bridgette calling myself and my husband from multiple numbers excessively to try to bully and push us along. I would never recommend this complex or business or manager to anyone. I'd love to give zero stars but alas that is not an option. Save yourself, your time, and your sanity level DO NOT tour or move here or to any other complex Bridgette or REMM properties manages. read more

So we made an appointment to view an apartment last week and today was the day of our appointment and also got a reminder one hour before the viewing. When we arrived the doors were locked (hmm) we knocked and a gentleman answered and we told him we had an appointment. We walk in and a woman pops up out of nowhere and says "you didn't get my voicemail" I said "no you never called or left a voicemail" which she didn't. I wouldn't of driven an hour in the rain to come to a showing that isn't happening. They told me the apartment is being renovated and can't show me the apartment. They also said since they're renovating the price has increased BY 600 dollars above the listing price. What a bunch of liars. read more

The management here is horrible. Each month there is a new charge added to our rent. Residents are responsible for paying for trash and water. They also charged rental insurance. I chose an outside rental company. I was automatically charged when my policy was close to expiring. When I got my updated insurance policy (which there was no lapse in time), I tried to contact them to email my new policy and never got a response. I ended up dropping it in their overnight drop, and they are still charging me the $25 rental fee even though my rental insurance policy never lapsed. The management is not helpful, unreachable, and unresponsive, but they are very good at making sure to charge you for any fee possible. read more

I don't think Briget has any management experience. She is not professional says she does things but doesn't. She is just winging it everyday and as a whatever attitude. The laundry rooms are always dirty and 2 or 3 machines aren't working. No one is ever in the office even tho management lives on sight. Rent is way too expensive and raises 10% very year. When things are fixed its done with the cheapest quality. They charge a lot but don't want to pay to fix it properly. Thought moving to a bigger place would be nice, little did I know I picked the wrong apartment. Dana is the maintenance manager he is a wonderful man who works very hard. He is the only hard worker here. As I read some of the reviews on here I know I will get a message from Gladstone ridge say please contact them with my issues but what's the point when they will just give me some bull**** answer. Biggest regret is moving to this dump. Don't let the picture fool you. Also this is not a quiet apartment. Kids everywhere, dogs barking all the time and because it's so close to the freeway emergency and ambulance all the fricken time. I have never heard so many sirens. I just called the after-hours number to complain about my upstairs neighbor slamming their furniture at 6am, and was just given a call back, saying that maintenance was contacted and was told no security is on site to handle the complaint. I then asked if the office manager was contacted, the office manager lives on premises, and i was told no contact with the manager was made. I was then advised to call the police. I followed through with the managers' instructions on how to handle after hour complaints, and it was useless. read more

Looking for an apartment to move into. Saw this location and thought it was a nice area. Booking the tour online was easy but on the day of my tour I get a text saying that it was canceled. There was no explanation and I had to call the leasing office 6 times before someone picked up. I would have driven an hour and a half to make it to the location thankfully I was only 15 minutes into my drive. I decided to give them another chance and booked another tour through their booking site and got the confirmation text as well as a reminder text the morning of. I had a tour scheduled for 10 am today and got to the location a couple minutes late due to traffic. The leasing office was locked. I stood there knocking and calling the office and no-one showed up or answered the phone. Plus the voicemail box was "not set up". As I waited for 20 minutes I saw tenants walk up to the door and comment that no one is ever there. There was no sign stating that someone will be back or is gone for the day, but the managers car was parked in the managers assigned parking spot. This is very unprofessional and give this apartment a bad look. I don't know what else they don't do for their tenants. But better communication would be nice. read more
