Very Friendly hidden gem campground with amazing Mountain View's, super friendly staff and the showers are like from a spa. Yes, I know, I said Spa and I meant it. You'll see. They also have ATV rentals. Highly Recommend !! The owner took off and went with me in his own. We had a blast !

    Great beer selection

The new owners have put a lot of personal touches to this RV Park including upgraded electricity at all sites, a groomed dog park, a comfortable outdoor park for socialising, eating and more, upgraded restrooms, laundry room, excellent restaurant loved by visitors and locals. There is plenty of shaded sites. Ryan and his wife, Stephanie are very personable and pleasant to all visitors. Highly recommend this RV Park for a stay.

    Addie aproved!

If you are on the 15, take a detour west to Arco. Mountain View is a hidden gem with a BBQ surprise and an interesting atomic story! Clean, quiet, friendly. What more can an RVer ask for? PS- get the 1/2 rack, you will not be disappointed.

We chose this RV Park because they offer the most spacious parking spots of all the parks in town. We were going to visit the Crater's of the Moon and this park was closer than the others as well. The owners are friendly and were excited to meet our little dachshunds since they have one of their own. The park wasn't overly crowded at the time of year we visited so they placed us in a spot in the back row without any adjacent neighbors which made for a nice and quiet stay. Unfortunately, we missed trying their BBQ restaurant because it wasn't open on the days we were there. This is a Good Sam park but the rates are a bit pricier than other parks we've stayed. We did not use the restrooms, showers, laundry room or the dump station, but they are available. They also sell propane on site. I would recommend this park if you are visiting Arco.

Best ribs I have ever ate!

Great RV park with maintained sites, clean facilities and excellent restaurant. Be sure to eat at the restaurant while staying on the weekends. The owner is known for his ribs and they are excellent! Ribs were so tender and juicy that the meat fell off the bone. By far one of the best bbq ribs in the country. Ribs are served after 5pm on weekends.

We stayed here during our trip trip to craters of the moon. A very nice park. Quite a bit of room between each site. The new owners were very very nice. And don't forget to get the barbecued ribs they are amazing...

I've never stayed at the RV Park, so this review is for the food. Best ribs I've ever tasted-- and I've been all over the world. The smoked baked potato is also not to be missed. Ribs are only available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and it's best to call ahead since they go fast. I attached a pic but it really doesn't do this masterpiece justice. Great service and the proprietors are really neat people who care about their customers. They also have a great wine selection and the best margaritas north of the border. Well worth the stop!

We had a terrible experience with the customer service at this RV park…read more We had a reservation, but when we got there, there was no one at the office to check in. There was a sign saying to call if they weren't there. So we tried calling on three of our cell phones. No one answered. We waited for 15 minutes and finally decided to just find an empty spot and come back to the office in a bit (hoping someone would show up). Well as soon as we start to park, someone comes up on a golf cart and starts yelling at us. I don't mean politely asking us what we're doing, full on yelling. We explain that no one was at the office and the owner rudely says that there's a sign telling you to call. We explain that we did call several times and no one answered. She then checks her phone and gets kind of embarrassed, realizing she ignored our calls. She got nicer at this point and told us what spot we were in, but it was too late for me. Even if you didn't know what someone is doing, you could be polite about it. The RV park itself is fine but nothing special. The WiFi is awful, so don't expect to really be able to do anything on it. I would never recommend staying here because of the terrible management/customer service and bad check in process.

The owner, Maryann, is so accommodating and gracious. She escorted me to my site, made sure the hook ups were working and that I was lined up properly for my slide. She even delivered a UPS delivery to my RV! The owners are currently making a number of upgrades to the park and I look forward to seeing the changes when I come through the area again next year. I'll definitely be staying here again. Had excellent cell signals with both Verizon and AT&T. The park does offer complimentary Wifi that is good for checking email and Internet browsing, but as I enjoy streaming movies and music I used my own hot spot connections. Again, this is a great spot to stay a night or longer for an extended stay!

Riding: Ross the owner was helpful describing trails to take our kids. His directions + the Avenza app had us adventuring on trails for hours both days with dirtbikes and our sxs. Our kids made some core memories adventuring here for sure. The scenery was gorgeous and so fun to explore. Food: As enticed as I was by the other diners delicious looking food I kept seeing throughout our stay, at this point in our trip we really needed to cook the food we had in our trailer. So we didn't utilize the restaurant, except I did get an order of the wings for us to all try. They were delicious, perfectly crisp! We also got our kids vanilla milkshakes after a ride, and those were SUCH a tasty treat. They sell farm fresh eggs in the store and those were great too for our breakfasts, I wish I got another carton before we left. Facilities: The women's restroom was nice and clean, and so was their laundry room. If we're able to do another big road trip with the kids like this, The Sawmill Station is a place we definitely hope to visit again.
