This is a mixed review: I hired Abortech to remove a large…read moretree (Bradford Pear) to trim 2 similar trees, and to remove the tree stump from the tree, all in the front yard. I was VERY happy with the work done by the 2 men who removed the tree, trimmed the 2 others, and CLEANED UP the yard thoroughly after their work was done -- you would never even know that extensive work was done that day. I am, however, EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with the tree stump removal (IN THE FRONT YARD!!!). The stump grinding created a great big HOLE in the ground and a HUGE pile of dirt and ground tree stump right next to the hole. He told men that they "never fill in the holes", that's up to the homeowner to do! I am a woman, 77 years old, disabled, and walk, in great pain, with a cane -- and I was left with a great big hole and a huge plle of dirt TO FILL IN MYSELF !! Now I have to find someone to PAY to fill in that hole. IF I HAD KNOWN THAT ARBORTECH NEVER INTENDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB, OR THAT THIS WAS THEIR "STANDARD PRACTICE", I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID (WAAAY TOO MUCH!!!) $425 to have one small-to-medium stump ground!!!! And I am left with an unsightly mess on my front lawn. This was a huge ripoff, and not worth the money.

I needed several trees taken down and some needed landscaping done. I contacted Cedar Stone Tree…read moreWorks because of the great reviews and word of mouth out in the community. Merick and Orion arrived a couple of days later, right on time. The quality of work and respect they showed was second to none. It is so hard nowadays finding people who are so deeply dedicated to their profession like Merick who is a licensed arborist by the way. He is very knowledgeable about his work in every aspect. They were here 3 days and worked all day here into the evening. They transformed my property in the most positive way. They have the best work ethics that I have not seen in years. They actually cared what the customer needed and wanted. I have gotten tons of compliments about my new yard looking so good, that a couple of neighbors hired them for their own projects. They will not disappoint and on top of everything, they left my property spotless.. Do not hesitate to call Cedar Stone Tree Works, talk to Merick and he will go above and beyond for your project...

It was a difficult operation as they had to work from a neighbors yard and aces the trees by reaching over the neighbors house, power lines etc. Mike took care to protect the property and work with the neighbor, who was difficult. His crew brought in a 110 ton crane with a 140 foot reach. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and extremely hard working. The job was finished in less than half the time of other estimates and at just over half the cost of other companies. Before leaving, they cleaned up the entire site to the point that you would never know they were there. I highly recommend Mike and his crew.
