Dr. Kontny is an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, with advanced training in breast cancer diagnosis and surgery. She has over fifteen years of experience with breast surgery. Dr. Kontny offers minimally invasive in-office breast biopsy, onco-plastic breast surgery, breast reduction, breast lift, and high-risk genetic counseling and treatment.
Dr. Kontny is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She attended Medical School at Michigan State University, and completed surgical residency at Willima Beaumont Army Medical Center in Ft. Bliss, Texas. She received her Oncoplastic Breast Surgery training through the American Society of Breast Disease, School of Oncoplastic Surgery, Dallas, TX. She has advanced training from Emory University of Breast Oncology.
Dr. Kontny was recently certified with the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. Less than 1% of all vein care professionals in the U.S. and Canada have earned certification from the ABVLM.
