Today I asked for products that were on every end of the store. I asked for advice on fixing my hutch which has cracked wood. I spoke to so many employees and everyone had good advice and actually did service with a smile! It's so refreshing. The store is so easy to navigate. It's clean and well organized. I don't know how the prices compare to a big box store, but I can tell you I'd rather pay a bit more to include helpful service so I don't care if PaulB is more or less costly. It turned out to be not quite the right size for the opening (I measured), and Leonard stood by his quote and found a surround solution that fit the space. I've always have found that the place is well kept up and the employees are very nice. Nice to go there since they are not the Big Box stores. You walk in the door and you seem to be able to ask them anything. They find it for you. You can buy any qty it seems. For example 1 bolt or screw. We get water softener salt and they always load it for you. When your a home owner that is not really handy the service means the world. I always try there first. I have had them order things for me also and have in some cases better prices than the super big stores. This is the kind of business that needs to be supported.
