I wanted to write this review to help create some positive feedback for this business. We have had their service for over two years now and I was hesitant due to some of the reviews. First off I want to say the water is fantastic, I did a lot of research and this was the only company I could find that offers locally sourced spring water. Reading the reviews it seems the biggest complaints are missing deliveries and customer service. In the entire time we have had their service they have never missed a delivery. The schedule is very clear and I was easily able to add it to my calendar on my phone and create reminders to tell me when to put out the bottles. As for their customer service, every time I have had to call which was only twice they were pleasant and took care of all my needs. The last time I called was to get an extra bottle in the middle of my delivery month, they took care of it right away and had it delivered within a day or two. Overall I would definitely recommend this company for anyone wanting great tasting water delivered their home for a great price. That is another thing the price is amazing, their price delivered was less than what I could get from the company through Costco which only offers filtered tap water. Use to be an awesome company. Company refuses to get us a delivery date we want or communicate so delivery can happen. Company does not call prior to delivery, driver refuses to knock on the door when he delivers, even though we have requested he do so many times. They drop off water and never pick up old ones. They continue to reschedule my deliveries with no notification. It's been over a month since they have delivered. Tried to get Customer disService to up my bottles being delivered, but only come once a month, since it's hard for them to get here every 2 weeks. They said that won't work, lol. Customer disService has no answers for me. They try to call the local office, and get the answering machine. They say that they have sent multiple emails, and have received no response. Please don't buy their water. Costco also delivers and I hear Staples does as well. Mountain Mist/Crystal Springs/et all are not a service company any longer. Boo-hiss! read more

They saved us from paying a ransom for bottled water for our small business. We were cold-called, not usually something I prefer and I'll usually turn solicitors away but it worked out well for us because they had something we actually wanted for once! They charge $6.50 per 5gal, whereas previously we were paying close to double that, no joke. Limited delivery charges and extra fees are attached. [It's cheaper to fill your own bottles if you have the ability to do so, we all know you can get water for like 50c a gallon or less places, you're paying for delivery and convenience with a water service!] Their customer service on their call-center wise is somewhat lacking and very much automated, which I will admit I hate. That is the only reason I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars. They only recently with Coronavirus changes have changed their ability to pay online, which is an upgrade for sure. I was able to cancel via email to our account rep. You can skip orders until you can cancel, you don't have to accept a delivery! Our delivery guy knew we only took a certain amount, they never over loaded us. If we only needed 2 bottles, we got 2 bottles. It does stink that they can't credit bottles that are unused at the end of services but it's told to you when you cancel. I saw the person who picked up the bottles, he personally emptied them. They are not allowed for their regulations issues to re-sell bottles even though they're still sealed. This is not their fault. They don't charge you a bottle deposit like the other guys!!! That's my favorite part honestly and what kept the bills most manageable. Their bills make sense, their statements are kind of trash to be honest with you. Everyone agreed their water tasted better than the stuff we had before from a major distributor. On a B2B level, I'm a huge fan and will go back to Mountain Mist. Always keep in mind that their B2B and their residential services may be different divisions and therefore your expectations for residential services should be more based on the residential reviews! read more

We have been using mountain mist for years and have always had excellent service! Our driver, Will is friendly, fast, and on time. We have never had a problem with this company and they are so genuine with their customer first attitude that any problem would be taken care of. The water is so fresh and awesome! If you leave it out side for more than a day it will change colors though. After all, there are no chemicals in it to prevent algae from growing. Did you know that you just peel off the foil tab and not the blue topper? If you pull off the topper the plug and stopper will be released into your water. read more

Fess upon fees that never end. After canceling the account we got another 3.95 "environmental fee". Run the other way. You can get coolers on offer up free or buy a band new one. If you set up an account with them for an office group, be careful. If they miss your regular scheduled delivery due to their problem, they do not care that you are currently out of water. I have been waiting over a week, and still haven't received what my team is paying for. We are paying for rental of water dispenser and service, and we do not have any water. I thought I was dealing with a decent company, & I actually was for awhile until they made a mistake with a very easy order (my order was 5 cases of spring water in 1 gallon containers per month). They delivered 5 cases of distilled water in 1 gallon containers instead. I called them on the day they delivered the wrong water & asked them to pick up the distilled water & deliver the spring water that I had ordered. The following morning the distilled water was picked up & the spring water was delivered. perfect, right? Wrong! They refused to refund the money they charged for delivering the the distilled water! They actually told me they were doing me a favor!! Favor my A--!! how can a company get away with stealing money like that? I am writing this today because I have given Mountain mist plenty of time to make it right. I leased their cooler which it took 4 times to actually get a cooler that worked. But on the 3rd cooler it leaked didn't notice until my floor started to wick up, which now I have to replace a new floor , the old one was only 4 years old. I have only been with them about 3 months, and I am done, already. I called a couple of months ago to ask a driver to send two more bottles as the initial 2 did not seem to be enough. The next day the driver brought 4 bottles. Ok, not the end of the world, but still that's not what I asked for. I was told by a customer service rep "If you want less bottles or none, you can leave a note for the driver". Got it. I had three empties yesterday on my delivery day and left a nice note telling the driver to "please don't leave any water, we have enough until next time". I see the driver on the RING camera take the note, read it and leave one bottle. Harold, the customer service rep told me "the drivers don't have to do what the note says, you have to call customer service". I told him I was TOLD by customer service to leave a note. I clarified with him again "So your telling me if I leave a note telling the driver to NOT leave bottles he can ignore it"?. "Yes". That is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. My cooler is free for a year so a manager told me I can use the cooler until I run out of all that water. Once the water is finished, I will have them come and pick up the cooler. Horrible company. You send them an email informing them that you want to cancel the service. They ignore you and continue to send in the water. I called and they said because I didn't call them, they sent me water THAT I GAVE BACK. They also told me that I would be CHARGED for water I didn't use because I didn't call them! However, they decided to bill us $10 at the end of service because they claim we lost one of their bottles sometime in the 2 year period. I've been with this water company for about 3 years. Prior to delivered water, I used filtered that was built into the kitchen sink, which was VERY convenient. Once we moved, we no longer had this feature, and a Brita or Pur pitcher seemed like a burden to always have to conscious of refilling and having to take up fridge or counter space, so I looked into water delivery. Through out my research, I found how superior natural spring water is to filter tap water which can STILL contain chemicals such and medicines and various other chemicals, as they cannot test for the presence of every single possible contaminant. Mountain Mist, who was/is the only local company who delivers natural, untreated spring water. I couldn't be more happy with the flavor of this water, the quality, and the service. I've seen a few negative comments here, and I can only guess that a competitor is involved?? I don't know, I cannot speak for the experience of others, but I cannot imagine these things happening with this company, as I have not one complaint for the three years I've ordered water from them. I cancelled service with them once, since we were moving out of the area and was never billed for missing water bottles, as others have said here. I know for certain I never kept any bottles and they didn't claim that I had. Let's see, one thing I COULD say that is perhaps "negative", is that at our second address, I opted to buy a crock and stand from them in lieu of renting a water cooler/heater as we had before. The spigot had some leaking issues, and instead of just sending us a new spigot, they sent a service person out to "look at it". Well, we were not home and didn't know when to expect him, so missed his arrival, and again instead of just sending a new one out, they said a service guy HAS to come out and look at it...I figure it would have cost them maybe $5 to send a new one for us to switch out at our convenience, but they wouldn't do it. It left me feeling anxious, as I really didn't want a delivery guy messing with the spigot when it was connected to 5 gallons of water...didn't want dirty hands all over it and inside of the crock which I had sterilized and was now full with a five gallon bottle...it didn't make sense how he could deal with the spigot without putting his hands in the crock....all and all, we learned through experience that the spigot needed to be tilted just so and ended up telling them to forget it, as I didn't want to do it their way. Absolutely horrible customer service, and the water is bad too. I received a water today, and that had things floating in it. I have pictures and a video to show it. When I called customer service they told me that I wasn't storing it properly. Then they asked if they could come out and give me two new bottles of water. Then they put me on hold for five minutes, only to come back and say now they didn't want to give me two bottles of water and it's probably best that I just cancel. But if I cancel I'm still gonna be charged for the full month of water that I didn't use, because there were things floating in it. Dishonest company and atrocious customer service. My mom closed her account and they tried to charge her $50 for 5 missing water bottle jugs that they claimed we still had. We didn't. I tried for weeks to reach their customer service manager and straighten the matter out and after some radio silence...we received a collections notice in the mail! You couldn't believe my disbelief, never in my freaking entire life. I filed a BBB complaint and lodged a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General. There was no acceptable resolution. This seems to be the theme, bogus charges on your account after you stop using their service. Then they send you to collections without notice. If you're smart and you're doing your research, stay away. I wish we had done more research before using their service. Read the other reviews on here and on Facebook. And most importantly, read all of their customer disputes and reviews on BBB. And if you don't think this is the kind of thing that would ever happen to you, think again. Cause it freaking happened to me. It's not worth the hassle dealing with this kind of company -- well, unless you like that kind of thing. I don't. This is the worst company ever. They over charge. But other then that. Our water dispenser leaked all over our floor we just had put in new flooring and everything is damaged. Over $1,000 to replace. My family of 4 drinks a lot of water we thought using MM would be a good decision. We were at the fair and the rep of course was so nice. Everything was fine until my debit card was stolen and I had to wait for a new card to arrive to put it on file. The driver put no one was home and just left the water outside. Not true on delivery days someone is always home. So bottles piled up to 6 or 7. I updated my card with them and they still wouldn't up date my account to deliver my water and pick up all these damn blue bottles. Then all of a sudden someone answered my door and told them I no longer lived there. Right. So although my account was up to date they still wouldn't deliver. It took several emails for them to understand I hadn't moved. Thennnn LOL I didn't have a current phone number on file and its policy that you have one on file. I told them it's not in my contract and show me the policy. Oh the manager is ok with it now. Lol. I tell them I want the 6-7 bottles removed and my water replaced since I was completely out. I only had that many empty bottles because they skipped delivery. I come in and find 6 bottles of water lined up. They interpreted it literally instead of seeing my normal delivery amount so they could charge me extra lol. read more

Have used MM for the last few months for a corporate account. They have no customer service. No one answers their customer service emails and calling them on the phone is a painful nightmare. They charge arbitrary amounts on your invoice and don't provide a receipt of the amount charged to the account manager. Getting a copy of a receipt is seriously more painful than a root canal. This seems to be a common thing for water companies in the Seattle area. As much as I hate using Crystal Springs because their accounting is also bad, it's not THIS bad or nonexistent. read more

I am seriously shocked at the lack of customer service. We went around and around for a few months earlier this year over different scheduling days and how sometimes they wouldn't show up at all - it took me no less than 4 calls to customer service to get this fixed and get a delivery calendar with a legitimate schedule. I get that things happen but you really should inform customers of changes. Last week I received an automated email saying our delivery would be delayed - this came a day after our normal delivery day and we were already out of water by then. Our staff works all weekend and they had no water in this heat. I was told delivery would be today but guess what? Big surprise....now it is coming (supposedly) Thursday - so over a week after our scheduled delivery and we have been without water. We can't drink the tap water where we are so this is very important. Why I had to call to see where our delivery was today and be told it's not happening is absurd. Try calling your customers and update them on big changes. Now, that we finally got our schedule organized, what's going to happen to that since our deliveries are off - owner wants to shop the product. Every industry has its little gray-area tricks to ensure companies make a few extra bucks. Banks have their seemingly arbitrary fees, often hidden in the fine print. Cable companies and internet providers lock you into contracts that increase in price at an untenable clip, all behind monopolistic practices. You get the point. Mountain Mist is no different, in this respect. They drop off unwanted water, charge you for it, and then hide behind rather weak regulatory excuses like, "FDA, this.../ FDA that..." Just another example of poor, even unethical business practices. To be honest, I'm not sure how the owners and officers of the company can feel satisfied in their professions, knowing that they have to cheat their customers just to compete. Pathetic. Despite repeated requests to minimize the excess waters being dropped, I see on Friday that they delivered two more bottles. I now have 14 unused bottles of water sitting in my kitchen, none of which can be returned/refunded, of course. How could expect anything more from a company like Mountain Mist? They clearly have no regard for their customers and are willing to lie and cheat for a few more dollars. Pathetic. In addition to my humble plea to Yelp readers not to do ANY business with this ridiculous company, Mountain Mist, I would like to offer some simple alternatives for water service in the Seattle area.
