He assessed the collateral damage with lightning speed and gave it to me straight: getting those RAB Bell flood lights and Mighty Posts back in working order would require a four-hour surgical repair. He also gave me the estimate. Let's just say the cost was... dear. As in, "I might need to sit down and evaluate my life choices" dear. However, you get what you pay for, and Jared was worth it. We scheduled the repair, and he showed up exactly on the dot--a rare and beautiful miracle in the home service industry. He tackled the job with absolute efficiency and effectiveness. I was immediately greeted by Chris and his daughter who were running the store that day. As I perused through the showroom floor I immediately could tell that the quality of products were superior to those that I would normally find at a big box store like Lowes or Costco. This was definitely commercial quality stuff. I expressed my concern over the pricing and Chris reassured me that while the pricing was higher, the durability would make up for this. He had numerous examples of customers from his other business, Best Yard, who have had the same products sold in Brite Ideas for years. It felt good knowing that there was so much knowledge and experience inside that store and that Chris is putting his money where his mouth is by opening this store, which tells me he believes in the product. All in all I was very happy with my experience inside Brite Ideas and I will certainly be back to purchase lighting products for my home. Chris even informed me that he has an on staff consultant who can help me decide what would be the best plan when decorating my home. With this kind of customer service I don't mind spending the extra $$ to get a product that will actually last and stand up to the Colorado elements, all while supporting a local family-owned business.

Needed a custom order that would require lamps plus to work with the vendor (Schonbek.) April 14th, placed order. April 30th returned order. May 14 finally heard back from lamps plus on custom order. Took payment by phone. May 25th lamps plus called. Needs a signed PO for custom order. So the order was never placed. June 3rd. Manager calls to ask us to sign the PO to place order. June 6th. Received a call from lamps plus stating they didn't process payment yet and I'll be receiving an email with instructions payment. June 7th. Received sketchy outlook email requesting me to email respond with my credit card info, address, 3 digit code. Of course I refused to do this. June 24th. Received phone call from lamps plus to confirm color after 2 weeks. Applause. June 26th. Lamps plus Called to say the color is going to be double the price. Kind sales said we can either pay for the difference or get a full refund. This is fraud and extortion. I will not be paying double. I will not accept a full refund. I expect to get a product I paid for and extra to customize it. That's it. Good luck to future customers.
