This is my go-to mountain Mike's location. Live close to here and usually order from here. My favorite deal is when the king's have their promo to get a free personal pizza after a game. The pizza here has always been good and the workers and service great. They usually ask if I need any utensils or extra items for the pizza and remind me to get my drink when I order the Sacramento king's deal. Restaurant usually looks clean as well, although I usually order to go. They have a pizza buffet during lunch hours. They have some claw machines and a few arcade games as well to entertain kids if you're dining in. Parking can be tough at times, but I usually find a spot in the small lot or you can do street parking. Great place overall. read more

I've ordered several times from this Mountain Mike's in midtown Sacramento. Easy peasy ordering system and delivery. Delivery has been on time or earlier than the quoted time which I'm not complaining. The drivers are the kindest. The food has been delicious. The cheesy, garlic bread is sooo good. Cheesy crisp edges, with soft bready innards. Mmm. The pizza is darn good. The sauce is tasty. The crust is oven baked deliciousness. I enjoy the plain chicken wings but don't particularly like the price tag. The plain wings have a dry, crisp coating that I like. Similar to air fry but not sure it is, the meat is moist though. But they need to be more consistent in providing napkins and utensils (for salads) for the delivery and take out orders. read more

This is our pizza spot. We have been customers here for the last year, and we go once a week. Its always clean, customer service is great, and pizza is always good. The parking lot can be busy at times, but we have always managed to find a spot. My son is autistic and he can be picky, it says a lot that we are still going to this place. I ordered a pizza for delivery and added a tip for the driver before he made the delivery. When he did deliver my pizza he called me and made me come out to get my pizza instead of actually bringing it to my door. I called the restaurant to complain to no avail. Was told I would be receiving a call from management the next day. Never happened. Emailed corporate office. They responded with comments that I would get a response from the store owner within 5 business days to resolve my issue. Nothing. After some mediocre pizza visits in 2023, my wife and I decided to give them another chance. We figured out a trick to make their pizza incredible tasting... ask for it to be baked WELL DONE. This might not be for everyone, but we believe it fixed what was our main gripe with Mountain Mike's: undercooked dough. Asking for your pizza "well done" or "well baked" has led to some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. This request allows for extraordinarily crispy pizza on the bottom while adding a nice bite to the crust. I've gone to Mountain Mike's the last two weekends and have absolutely LOVED it both times!! Mountain Mike's is extremely charitable with their toppings as of late and are reasonably priced. They also have the best dipping ranch in the game! Sometimes I get their coupons in the mail (old school) and use them to lower the cost of a Large 'Mount Veggiemore' (without mushrooms because I hate them lol). Takeout is SUPER convenient as I live very close to this location. Their parking is easy enough and you're really in-and-out if you plan your pickup accordingly. Places like Mountain Mike's and Round Table are nostalgic for us 90s babies! Sometimes you're just in the mood for a classic, 'suburban' tasting pizza. You don't always need a super 'bougie' pizza place with broccoli toppings or what not. The NEW Mountain Mike's with a crispier crust is just so damn good! I can't say enough great things about them. Overwhelming chemical smell! I don't know what is going on here, but I can't eat in a place that smells like an experimental laboratory. Ordered a personal cheese pizza, a make it yourself salad, 1/2 pound boneless chicken strips and the new cinnamon knots dessert to go. Pizza and salad were great. Chicken was gross. Had small nuggets the size of grapes amongst the rest of the so called strips. The cinnamon knots were not edible. They were burned. Convenient and reliable location for delivery and takeout in midtown. They also recently remodeled and have a beautiful dining area inside, but that's not a thing right now in this, the time of the Rona. I order a pep and onion pie from them every so often, being in the neighb. Everyone who works here is a delight and the pizza is always fresh and tasty. I've never had any issues over the years. Delivery is prompt and courteous, and they never have trouble finding my place. If you dine in they have a nice variety of beers on tap. I also recommend their wangs. I was in the area to support my granddaughter in her hula competition and at the end of the day we were allbtoo exhausted to think about a good place to eat. My granddaughter and her Mom said pizza was good and okayed Mountain Mike's. They said they wanted a flavor with barbecue sauce, so grampa was more than eager to please. Well, maybe just a tiny bit too eager. I thought that my granddaughters friends were joining us so I ordered a 20" pizza, but none of them came. Now, let me tell you, this is the first time I'm having barbecue sauce on my pizza, and pineapple is not really my most favorite of pizza toppings, but Man!! Did my tune change after one slice. I have a new favorite flavor now but since none of my granddaughters friends came over, I've had the leftover slices (more than half the pie!), all to myself for the last couple of days. Craving pizza, I turned to yelp for my decision. I cannot fathom why this place has such high ratings. My pizza was a bit sad. The crust was not as good as some grocery-store brand frozen pizzas I've had in terms of texture or taste. I did enjoy the bacon, though; they did not skimp on toppings. Today I was introduced to Mountain Mikes and I must say, it was a good look. Site: this mountain mikes was located in the heart of midtown. It had a rich rustic wood like feeling do the color theme. The establishment was extremely clean. Service: I participated in an official yelp event so interaction with the restaurant staff was a minimum. With that said them seem extremely happy to see us and served tap all evening with a smile. Presentation of food: our pizzas were served on a high rises table plate. The pizza really looked well rounded as is pertained to ingredients (cheese cover the entire pizza surface "minus crust" as expected, pepperoni spread evenly, etc. Taste: good, my favorite was the simple pepperoni but all the pizza tasted fresh, like the bell peppers fresh out of someone garden.
