Mountain High Pizza was a great experience! We visited Sun Peaks over thanksgiving and made the mistake of not booking a reservation that night. When all fails look to pizza! More specifically Mountain High Pizza! They have fun combinations to pick from that is just different enough from your regular pizza joint. Ours had pepperoni, pineapple, banana peppers, feta cheese, and regular mozzarella. The crust was really good and I'm so happy how our night ended up! Pizza was solid. A step above the regular chain places, but not real high quality. Perfect for after skiing. Service was fast and pizza was done in 15min. Lady who took our order was really friendly. The Greek salad seemed like it was just pizza toppings with no lettuce which was kind of a let down. Shows I didn't read the menu fully. Overall good though and would recommend. read more

Let me apologize first for the photo of 2/3 of a pizza. I was so hungry and completely forgot to snap a pic. I abruptly came to a halt when I realized this is the kind of pizza you only want by the slice. To be clear there is nothing wrong with it per se, but it is not whole pizza worthy by any means. The price point also seems a little high, we ordered a large Pinnacle add roasted garlic which some how came to $30 for one large pizza (also they didn't add the garlic so that was disappointing). I would recommend this to any of my drunk friends stumbling around the village looking for a quick bite. I would tell you all that if you are sober you will notice this isn't great pizza. On the plus side the people that work there are friendly and the place is clean. Also the smell of this place wafts around the village begging you to come for a slice. That smell is on point! My friends have gushed to me about Mountain High Pizza for quite awhile now and I finally had the chance to grab it to go on New Years. They definitely weren't exaggerating. The pizza here is amazing! I tried the intimidator and the ridge. The intimidator is an innovative vegetarian pizza that combines pesto, garlic, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and olives with a pesto-based sauce and plenty of mozzarella. We opted for the classic crust but they also offer thin, whole wheat, and gluten-free options as well. This pizza was unbelievable. If I didn't have to share, I probably would have eaten the entire thing myself. As for the ridge, it is no ordinary 5 cheese pizza. Even it was phenomenal. While everyone was friendly, the service was a little spotty. For instance, no one let us know our pizza was ready even though we were obviously standing there waiting for it and it wasn't busy. Also, pro-tip: even if they don't tell you to hold on to your receipt, you need it to grab the pizza even if you never left after ordering. Even though only one other group ordered after we didn't, they still insisted we should them the receipt. Besides those minor issues, I have no other complaints. I can't wait to go back. read more

This is sort of a cute place, 3 little tables in the restaurant (all up high with no kids chairs) with no reservations. Very casual. It smells good but is sometimes crazy hot in there. The people are nice. Lots of outdoor seating but it was 25 deg F. The pizza is... good but not great. The crust is 4 star, both supple and crunchy. They put the cheese over the toppings and brown the cheese a little which is not my preferred way. Also if your toppings don't bring the spice/flavor, it can be pretty bland (my kid's cheese pizza was uber-boring). They offer multiple sauces and we only tried the basic one. The salads are premade, croutonless and unremarkable. 2 stars for salad. read more

Food: Great! Outstanding pizza. I recommend pepperoni but meat lovers is good too. Those are the only two I've tried, but they are both really good! Service: First time I went there, I wasn't expecting much from the service and I didn't get much. As a matter of fact I was disappointed despite having such low expectations. While eating my pizza, the guy in charge told the person taking orders to stop shouting. The next time I was there, ordering my pizza was not as aggravating as it was previously. After that service was much higher than my original expectations were. Music: Crappy at first, but the most recent time I was there they had some awesome music. Overall I good pizza place. So I am giving these guys 1 star because both my friend and I got food poisoning from a pizza we ate there last night. Thought it tasted great until we were both running to the toilet 40 minutes later. This particular pizza ( the Challenger) had chicken ham and bacon on it, I don't know which one was the culprit.. But seriously?? You have great reviews here and you serve that? What food safety rules are you applying? Be aware people maybe stay away from the chicken.... I don't know? Sometimes after a day of horseback riding, chairlift rides past flowery meadows and wondering if the smoke from Williams Lake is toxic, you just want to stay in your hotel room and marvel at the panic being stoked on CNN. That's the time to order a pizza. I gave our order to the friendly man by phone and then sent my parents out to pick it up. Ours was the Hawaiian aka the Sun Catcher, but there were also far trendier choices like the Challenger with chicken and pesto and the Grannie Greens with mushrooms, peppers and olives. This place has a great selection, both for slice-by-slice or for whole pizzas. However, when we wanted to order one of their specialty salads, they only had plain or Greek, which was unexpected as it wasn't that close to closing time. The pizza, a shrimp pesto, was very tasty with a crust that was quite fluffy. The wait wasn't that long, only approximately 15 minutes. They also provide delivery service around the Sun Peaks village area, which can definitely be handy. read more

Always a decent pie. Not much room for seating but when you buy by the slice it doesn't matter how much room there is. It's a quick turn around for lunch when skiing sun peaks. read more

I was visiting family last year and went on a day trip to Sun Peaks when I chose Mountain High Pizza for lunch, We ordered three different pies and they were all amazing. The crust was perfect the toppings were loaded and the flavors stood out. My uncle who is very much a meat man was skeptical of my all veggie choice and was pleasantly surprised that he actually really enjoyed eating something that did not contain meat. The other two pies were equally as delicious with there meat toppings and we all went home stuffed from eating way more than we should have. Pepperoni and cheese are all that's needed to make a pizza awesome. We got a 14" 7-Mile Pizza ($20), and there certainly was a lot of it. But for some reason, their pepperoni didn't taste like pepperoni - rather like ham? Weird... Great pizza! My boyfriend and I ordered delivery and it came before the estimated 30-45 minutes-it's always nice not having to wait a long time for delivery. We ordered the #13 (added pineapple) and #23. The pizza was hot, flavourful, and they gave you lots of topping and cheese- the sauce was delicious and had lots of flavour. I preferred my #23 over the #13 and so did my boyfriend but both were very tasty. We will definitely be ordering again when we come back to sun peaks. read more

Have eaten here a few times and have had a few different pizzas. There are a lot of options to choose from and prices vary depending on which catagory you choose your pizza from and they come in a few different sizes. I enjoyed every pizza I got there and I would recommend them for a cheaper dinner option in the resort although compared with other pizza stores I think the price is a little bit expensive but the slices are big and always filled me up ($20 for a medium size). If you don't want a whole pizza or want something else they also sell hot and cold slices as well as salads. read more

We got two pizzas for take out and a Mediterranean salad. The pizzas were more like frozen pizzas than fresh. We ordered a veggie and a meat lovers. All five in my family could tell them apart from looking at them. Both were overly loaded with very thin olive slices. We could barely detect the feta on the veggie and the meet, with exception of the pepperoni, was barely detected. The salad was soggy and only two of our five ate any. While we are HUGE pizza fans, this pizza place is one we recommend skipping. read more

My husband and I ate here for dinner recently. We ordered a large Ridge pizza, which is a cheese pizza couple different cheeses. It was surprisingly good. The cheeses were good, the sauce was delicious, and the crust was a good amount of crispy/crunchy. We had enough for leftovers. read more

This place was not good, we went there because it was the only place open for quick food at 8pm. They didn't have just normal pizza, all of the choices had loads of ingredients on top which is only good if you're not a picky eater who just wants a plain cheese pizza. Because I wanted such a basic pizza I had to buy a full size one... which was also dumb because it was just me and they don't sell small???? I'm not a big eater so definitely didn't finish it. I told her that I could not visibly see them all being short I can only see the bottom shelf. She told that it was not her problem! Best pizza ever! I loved it. Wish I could go more often but I was only there on vacation. The prices were high but it was worth it. It was an expensive area (ski resort) so every restaurant up there was pretty pricey. We were there in off season so we were the only ones there. The pizza was made fairly fast and the menu had a lot of variety and some interesting combinations. There was nothing special about the service (it was counter service). We just ordered then sat in the cramped seating area waiting for our food. I guess the tiny eating area is the only negative thing I can say about the place. It must be crammed full during peak season. I ordered a full pizza but they also offer ready to go pizza by the slice as well as cold pizza to go. read more
