    The Co-Op provides fantastic service! Health insurance is hard to navigate but their team is helpful every step of the way.

Not helpful at and they don't not listen to customers questions or concerns. I had the displeasure of speaking with Alyssa today, as I had to preface it and educate them I'm already familiar with insurance and their website is not working, again, she repeatedly told me she was happy to help and get the same information off the system that I was not able to get it off of. I indicated the website was not working again and I have over 20 years of insurance experience so I'm familiar with insurance. she told me several times I didn't have an account despite the fact that I DO online , it's actually the first thing I set up to avoid talking to these imbeciles, yet at the very end of our conversation she repeated "I'll mail you the information since you don't have an account". It's frustrating enough not having good coverage anymore, but having to deal with individuals that don't listen, lack any customer service skills and blatantly refuse to provide good service is pathetic. With a $1500 month premium, Blue Cross should at least provide better service. Blue Cross of educate your employees on customer etiquette and how to properly research and do their jobs, teach them to listen and how to talk to people! These are lifelong skills not just for your employment, but that everyone should possess.

No one knows what's going on. Account status still: "Pending Review". In the meantime, my family does not have health insurance. Worst experience ever!

    If I could give less that one star to Mr. Reed, I would. Apparently, he does not deal well with…read moreMondays. My mother passed away in May of this year. Mr. Reed was her auto policy agent. I called Mr. Reed on June 5, 2017 to inform him of my mother's passing and ask that her policy be cancelled. I have this call documented by notes and by cell phone records. At that time Mr. Reed informed that it would take care of things. When I received the statement for my mother's bank account, I noted that the premium for her car insurance had been deducted again on June 22, 2017. I called Mr. Reed for the second time on July 10, 2017. I was not angry and I was not disrespectful. I just wanted to follow-up and see about getting the premium refunded. Before I could even get my full request out, Mr. Reed went on the defensive stating I was accusing him of being incompetent. I accused of nothing. He kept asking why I was reporting this on a Monday more than 30 days later. I tried to explain that this was the first business day after I received the bank statement. I tried to explain that I was not upset; I only wanted the problem fixed and a refund issued. What should have been an easy request to cancel a policy and request a refund ended in an abusive tirade by Mr. Reed that left me dazed and confused. His behavior was unprovoked, unprofessional and downright abusive. He went so far as to threaten to contact my employer and report me. I have filed a complaint about Mr. Reed's behavior with Farmers Insurance Corporate Office. The representatives I spoke with were gracious and understanding. Thankfully, they were able to handle my request and arrange for the refund. I have no complaints about Farmers Insurance - only this particular agent. For future reference Mr. Reed, the proper response to someone telling you a loved one has passed away is "I'm sorry for your loss" or "please accept my condolences," NOT "what are you accusing me of?"

    I recently was in the market for new automobile insurance and was contacted by Mr. Reed. Mr Reed…read moretook the time to understand my current policy and my needs. He explained in great detail the various policy coverages and limits and what was important and what was not as important and why. On top of that he then told me he could save me a good deal of money from my existing insurance policy without comprising the the level of coverage I currently had. I then asked him about a policy for my home and property. We reviewed my existing coverage and Mr Reed pointed out areas where I was at risk in my current policy that I was unaware of. He then quoted me a new rate for a home policy through Farmers and got me every discount that I was eligible for. The combination of his knowledge of the insurance industry, his ability to explain the coverage and answer my questions in plain English was very refreshing. I was impressed by Mr Reeds knowledge and candor to the point I canceled my home owner policy which I had for 16 years and even saved money in the process. If you are lokking for an agent who is knowlegable, is interesting in getting you the best coverage at an affordable rate, and is responsive to your needs look no fuirther than to Brent Reed of Farmers.
