The clinic is well run. However, after almost a year of chasing a hip/thigh pain and heel pain with ultrasound shot treatments and PT that I had to gently push for, I went to Missoula Bone and Joint to discover that the malady that had stopped me from hiking for nearly a year and created the need for a cane as well as 20 unwanted extra pounds was textbook bursitis. It took three injections to get it backed off because it had gone on so long and I've been able to get back to hiking. The heel issue was resolved with astym PT and exercises I do at home. Now I'm preparing for knee surgery, which I was very much discouraged to consider by my doc at this clinic. However, x-rays do not lie, a knee that won't bend is not fibbing either. Just as surgeons have a hammer that is shaped like a scalpel and therefore creates quite a confirmation bias, I think the cutting edge ultrasound treatments have become blinders for the practitioners at this clinic. If you go, and there are plenty of reasons to do that, remember that if you are not getting better, there are great folks to go to for second opinions. I so wish I had left sooner, because the consequences of my hope that they could help me left me less conditioned and facing other downstream issues from a lack of mobility. I don't need a comment from the owners, I sent an email several months ago. I wish them well, and I cannot in good conscience recommend their services without a paragraph of caveats first. My wish is that they take a good hard look at what confirmation bias does in a medical practice. As my daughter observed, my experience cost me a year of health promoting activities and outdoor joy.

They were immediately concerned when they saw I couldn't walk any longer, and since I was laying on the floor groaning in pain, as well. Dr. Paula Colledge, at Riverwood was like: Omg....I have never felt a back like this! The muscles are like rocks! She was very concerned, and I was treated like a human being, whereas at St Peter's, I was not. I cannot thank this clinic enough, for taking me and my injury seriously, and doing something about it. However, a claim was submitted to my insurance for $697 AND PAID but I still received an AUTOMATIC withdrawal of $258.... MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.... I feel bullied and stolen from and would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Especially if you live pay check to pay check like most of us. We need to normalize telling doctors NO. I attended this clinic for abscess care. There were no x-rays or labs done. I was at the clinic for approximately fifteen minutes. I informed the nurse of what my issue was. They charged $1062.76 for the service. They sent me a non-itemized bill with my portion to be for $512. The bill just listed medical services. I requested an itemized bill that was not itemized. I was told the consultation alone was over $300. The consultation consisted of me informing the nurse of my issue. Probably less than a minute. I did contact their billing but they were not any help. Unfortunately, their treatment proved worse than the issue and it ended up healing on it's own. However, the real disappointment was the care received and especially the amount they charged. I really regret going to this clinic and would really recommend going some other place.
