Sample doughnuts from the Staff Favorite Donut list
Alison O.

This place is delicious! I love that you can personalize fresh doughnuts and at such an affordable price, about $3 each The staff is so kind and helpful with any questions you may have, It's a cute , simple and family environment, I definitely will be going back!

They have great designs and cool flavors. I liked the strawberry lemonade one. It was pretty good. The donuts themselves are very heavy and dense donuts. They were dry as well. Not the best donuts that I have had and was let down. Hopefully it was just an off day for them when I went.

They do one donut type and they do it well. You start with the vanilla cake donut then you add the frosting you want, drizzle of your choice, and top it off with a topping. My daughter did the peanut butter frosting, no drizzle, and Reece's cups on top. She loved hers. I got a blueberry icing donut with blueberry drizzle. It was good but I wasn't getting much blueberry flavor. I also got a raspberry icing donut with raspberry drizzle. It was really good and I'd get that one again. The owners are friendly and are great at explaining the process and making you feel welcome. They donut itself is really good. It is a vanilla cake donut and it has a soft center and crispy edges. The ratio of crunchy and soft makes for the perfect texture. The cost per donut is 2.50.

To each their own best describes this review. I'm more of a fan of raised donuts and not cake. The base of all donuts is a nice vanilla cake. Then you take that base and pile on the glaze and toppings. It's great for kids both young and old that like to have lots of toppings for eye popping desserts. But for me, it doesn't make for a great donut, just an okay one. They do execute the concept/style better than the now defunct Beyond Glaze.

Sadly, I was pretty disappointed in the donuts here. The donut base was ok, but nothing amazing. The glaze toppings weren't very good. The chocolate glaze reminded me of a thickened version of Hershey syrup from the bottle which tasted cheap. The other donuts that we chose were very sugary, but didn't necessarily taste very good.

I'm not a huge sweets fan, but this was recommended by a male senior citizen while I was getting a pedi nearby. SO worth the calories. Young staff was attentive and helpful, offering suggestions and opinions. Local "extras" sold here and supported by staff. Purchased recommended chocolate milk made in Hyrum and husband said it was excellent. Friend had lemon iced and it was yum! I ordered strawberry lemonade - ok; French toast - really good; and one whose name I can't remember (go figure), but it was AWESOME! Pic shows I forgot to photograph before carnage began. Leftovers 36 hours later were still very edible. Wish they were closer. Could see this as a perfect birthday present.

Mountain donuts is definitely a treat! You can customize your donut toppings and sprinkles or you can choose a preselected "favorite". * The donuts are more cake-like and the topping combos are infinite. If you're a donut fan and you're in Ogden, you should give this place a try! * Also, did anyone else go through a phase where they ate hot donuts like cotton candy?? Just me?? Ok...

As a donut consisseur, I have to say these donuts are some of the best I've had. The maple bacon never fails to disappoint. Other standouts are: Paulie, S'mores. There are so many tasty ones to try! It's shocking how many people can't recognize true yumminess. Definitely give this place a try.

Custom donuts? Yes, please! I am a big fan of donuts and enjoy trying different shops as I stumble across them. Mountain donuts was a pleasant find. At mountain donuts you can choose your icing, toppings and drizzle, or you can order from their unique menu. Since this was our first time, we got an assorted dozen that gave us a chance to try a variety of flavors. After sampling many of the assortment, my favorite was the blueberry icing. Comparing to other donut shops, the overall taste was typical. All donuts were on a white cake donut, which were good but not mind blowing. The main novelty is the choice of toppings which is fun and akin to a custom blizzard from Dairy Queen. Worth a try.

First time here and it's pretty amazing. Light on the inside, slight crunch on the outside, tasty gourmet glaze and toppings. Pretty icings compared to your neutral donuts abroad. I thought that was so fun. They even have fun unicorn, golfer, spider man and Cookie Monster donuts appealing to the kiddies eyes. You can't go wrong here! The guy that helped me today was energetic all good vibes, welcoming and helpful. Ecstatic for your business. Which is why I support LOCAL. If you want delicious fun donuts, this is your spot!

What a fun hometown gem! Go! Support the local companies, not only for the obvious reasons but these guys are fantastic! I pre ordered a half of dozen donuts online the night before, for a meeting I was hosting with some coworkers. I pulled in and walked up to the drive through window (thanks COVID..) haha and the gentleman (which I assume is the owner) nicely greeted me and was MORE than willing to make my experience over the top! I left with 6 stunning donuts only to not enjoy one! Haha My team ate them all! So, I found myself back in the drive through after the meeting to get a few more I pulled up and said "they didn't even leave me one!" I ordered two more. A heavenly peanut butter donut and a lemon blueberry donut. I simply looked at him and said "you're the best!" And without any hesitation, he said ... "no, you are" way to make my day! These donuts are delicious in all the ways!! GO! NOW!

Tasty donuts!!

Donuts were so good! Very much like a cake in donut form. The people were the sweetest! The French Toast Donut was my favorite.

When bought the tickets, there was no indication as to what was on the menu. One of the people in my group has a nut and shellfish allergy, but there was no where on the ticket purchase screen to note this. Normally, reservations would have this option to make sure they can prepare ahead of time. I took a chance and hoped they would ask this when we arrived. We came as a party of four to the Lady and the Tramp movie and the event was listed from 6:30-9:00 but doesn't mention when the doors would open. We arrived at 6:15 thinking that we could sit down and use the facilities before the movie started, but the doors were locked and there was no sign. Several other customers did the same and I assume they were under the same impression. Would have been helpful in the email communication to let customers know when the doors open so they aren't arriving too early and having to wait. When we sat down, the hostess let us know it was open seating and to not leave too many gaps, which is fine, but their setup was not exactly couple friendly. Each table could seat 3 people and since we were a group of 4, the 4th person had to sit in the next table, which felt a little disconnected. One small popcorn bag was placed for every 3 people, so if you had a 4th person in the group, they would have either shared with the group they came with or with a stranger. The menu was on each table, there were no ingredients or allergy mentions. The menu looked standard and the dishes listed don't typically have any shellfish or nuts. There were no announcements made when everyone arrived and no one to greet us other than the hostess at the front. We waited for a while and then at 6:52, the movie started. One the movie started playing, we noticed immediately that the speakers on the left side of the room weren't working. It was hard to hear the movie the rest of the night and I'm not sure if this was just a technical issue that day. When the food started arriving, we had one dish that had almonds and we had to ask the server to send it back because of the allergy. I asked if there were any more items on the list with shellfish or nuts, but they seemed confused at the ask and didn't know. This could potentially cause severe reactions and the Cinebites teams should take this in consideration. Luckily the salad was remade and no issues came up. When the movie was done, the staff came out with a microphone to thank everyone for coming and then had a parade of the staff. It was cool to see those that worked there to make things happen that evening. Now knowing they had a microphone, it would have been nice for them to welcome guests in at the beginning and given directions to those who have never been here before. While I know this is not to the same level as the other Movie and Dinner events out there, it was something new to try out and nice that Utah has something like this.

My husband ordered the sausage butter croissant and was surprised it didn't come with egg - just sausage, cheese and the croissant. I even double-checked the menu to be sure and they do have both - an option with egg and one without. He gave it a 3/5 and said it would've been much better with egg. I went with the egg and cheese on a butter croissant. It was definitely on the greasy side but that's to be expected with a croissant. We shared a sweet roll, which was pretty good but the real win for me was the free samples. They were handing out bites of their baked goods - pumpkin chocolate chip, a white chocolate cookie of some sort and a mystery muffin - and I snagged a few for us. Overall, pretty good for a quick breakfast!

Not only wasn't it crack chicken with that wonderful creamy sauce, it was Turkey - with no sauce on it. Not even mayo. And it was on plain bread. I showed it to the girl at the counter, who took it in the back to show someone and came back and said, " Yes, that's crack chicken." When I pointed out it was, in fact, TURKEY, she turned to help another customer and ignored me. So, not only is quality slipping, but so is the service. And apparently, there's a chef who doesn't know his own menu and can't tell chicken from turkey.

Easy to order online, gave us good pick up instructions, and everything came packed really nicely. The good: - Pricing was extremely reasonable for what we ordered, especially around a holiday. - Side dishes were fantastic. Simple things like craisins and cheese in the salad, excellent corn mix, and red skin mashed potatoes made the meal a huge hit. - Packaging. Everything came in good, foil pans with tight lids. I have a Cambro so it packed nicely in there to keep the hot foods hot. The "meh": Honestly, the ribs were not fantastic. Good, basic, "fall off the bone" (AKA cooked to far) ribs. A rub was non existent and the sauce they put on was really bland. I was in the minority of folks that didn't care for them which leads me to give them that 4th star up there. Apparently they do all kinds of catering and "meals ready to go" out of the Warehouse 22 Event Center in Syracuse. Looking forward to giving them more business in the futire.

I'll admit that the Caesar salad was amazing as well as the bakery rolls, pasta, sauces (Alfredo and Marinara) and desserts, but the whole experience took a hard turn south with the Chicken Parm. The chicken was obviously pre-breaded and frozen from a food supply company. It was placed in an oven while still frozen and came out with that distinct rubbery texture that occurs when you don't properly thaw and then cook the chicken. There was no sauce and no melted cheese. So basically breaded rubber chicken stacked sideways in a serving tray. The signature "must have dish" was simply horrible. As I roamed and asked people how they were enjoying the food they all said everything was great except there was something wrong with the chicken. The staff was great and very attentive but to have a 4/5 on everything else only to have a bad 0/1 "signature dish" was a massive letdown. Hopefully they read this and make changes. Otherwise, avoid the more complicated dishes and you should be fine.
