All great except on Wednesdays when people play gold frisbee. We were unaware and while having a picnic we were forced to pack up and go since there was a game going on. Perhaps signing would be helpful. Otherwise beautiful park with a great layout

Large back windows great for backdrop

The girls working here were amazing. Flexible with the hours we didnt know we needed. We had our baby shower here and it was perfect space for our 100plus guest. We also had a small soft play area. They had a microwave we could use and also tables and chairs. We just added table covers, and center pieces. :)

    Play area.

The group of us that meets once a week to chat and share each others comp-any decided to meet at Mountain Crest Park this week. It is a Clark County park in the northwest at the corner of Durango and Lone Mountain. The entrance is from Durango. There are a lot of things to do here. There's a nice play area for kids and the swings have a padded surface. The ones who fall off the swings won't be hurt when they land. There is a frisbee golf course, there are a number of pavilions for picnics, and there are sidewalks around the park for walking. There's a lot of green for people to run and play. It's really a nice spot.

I love this park; it has the perfect walking paths for me to get in 4 or 5 miles. This park is spacious, beautiful, and clean. However.... And, yes--there is a however. Those parking benches and picnic tables have got to go. I can only imagine how much bacteria is just multiplying on a minute-to-minute basis. No amount of money, not all the tea in China, and not unlimited foot rubs would entice me to park my rump on any park seats. If it ever happened, I'd need a body transplant because I'd feel contaminated for the rest of my life. Still love the park, though!

Beautiful and large park but dangerous. It's heaven for disc golf players. But they are not careful. I was walking my dog on the concrete park that goes around when a disk flew right by my face at high speed. Irresponsible. Stay away unless you're here for that sport.

Community Center is available for parties/events.

Everyone needs some down time and enjoy the parks that are located throughout the valley. This park is located in the Northwest part of the valley between North Summerlin and Centennial Hills/Providence area. Its not classified as a Regional Park but its full of different amenities that one can enjoy: -Wide walking trails (great for a stroll and dog walkers-family friendly). -Large playgrounds (One for Big Kids and the other for Smaller Kids). -Splash Zone/Fountains for Hot summer months. -Basketball Courts -"Beach" Volleyball Court -Frisbee Golf Course with strategic numbering system. -Small/Large sized covered picnic gazebos for small and very large parties including bbq grills. Some are available for reservations but the majority are first come based.) -Public restroom is available near the two large playgrounds. Closes at 11:00pm nightly. Another cool aspect of this Park is that there is a Community Center available for parties or special events with a paid reservation. Approximately $120.00 for 4-5 hours use. The Space can accomodate up to a party of a 100 people. Plan accordingly because its based on availablility. 2017 Yelp Review #52

This is a beautiful, spacious park. It has covered areas with picnic tables, a kids area for them to play and a huge, grassy area where I saw a few people playing Frisbee golf. We happened to be there for the #vegasstrong vigil xoxo

Nice park, basketball courts, frisbee, only knock would be that restrooms were out of service. There were port-a-potties available.

Just ok. Only go if you are in the neighborhood and can not find anything else to do. Only a small splash pad and a very small park.

While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

The former park had a sizeable hedge maze, a jungle gym of sorts (a pole to slide down) with lots of tall slides one one side and short slides for the wee ones too on the opposite end (some parents were putting their too-young children in the tall slides, but you can't do that with babies who can't really lift their heads up). There also was a water feature/splash pad (great for Summer) and hop-along "rides" for the smaller kids. There was a little house to climb up, which was situated in the middle, next to the bathrooms. The new one has wide open spaces, fewer adventures for the kids (like I said, it is small), short slides, and fewer seats for the parents. There is a little jumping feature in the corner- great for children with coordination (our son likes this area), which is popular for kids of all ages. (The sign has an age recommendation.) There was a clerk kind of managing the park who mentioned that the redesign was for distancing (but this was before the virus hit the world as we know it). Here are the nice points. It is clean. There are bathrooms in the immediate area. It is probably better for smaller kids to enjoy.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

There's plenty of it, and it's super close to the dog park, which is always a plus when you've got excited pups ready to go. The park itself is split into a small dog area and a large dog area, and both sides were well maintained. The grass was green and mostly clean, and there were multiple shaded seating areas to relax while keeping an eye on your dog. I really appreciated the water fountains placed around specifically for the dogs, they looked clean and well kept, which isn't always the case at dog parks. There are also lots of trees, so even on warmer days, you can find shade easily. There were easily 15+ dogs there during our visit, and the overall vibe was great. Most of the dogs came over to say hello, and they all appeared healthy, well groomed, and social. No aggressive behavior at all... just the occasional male dog trying to assert dominance, but nothing escalated and owners stayed attentive and in control. That alone says a lot about the type of crowd this park attracts. Speaking of people...everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsible. It was really nice to see that every dog owner we noticed picked up after their pets. That level of consideration makes a huge difference. Beyond the dog park, the rest of the park was just as lively. The volleyball courts were packed with groups having a good time, and the fields were full of soccer teams ranging from little kids to teens. Even the restroom was well maintained, soap to wash your hands, full rolls of toilet paper, no trash or debris on the floor no floaters in the toilets. The playground was surprisingly not crowded, and it looks like it's been updated....there were no traditional slides, but instead more interactive and physical play structures like climbing ropes, stairs, and obstacle style features that make it fun in a different way. Even the parking lot experience stood out... people were patient, respectful, and courteous. One driver even pulled back into their spot after starting to back out just to let me pass, even though I had paused for them. It's little things like that that really add to the overall experience. All in all, it was an amazing day at the park. The weather was perfect, which definitely helped set the tone, but the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and thoughtful layout of the park really made it stand out. This is one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to.
