When you're in the mountains, your options are limited. We visited during a trip to Lake Arrowhead and this was one of the few specialty coffee places nearby. Although I've rated some things higher, ultimately, it's about the coffee and it's a 3 for me for being super average. More details below. Coffee (3/5): Let's be honest...it's nothing special. I got a flavored latte and the coffee was kind of weak. I don't quite remember what flavored latte because I recall the syrup flavor being weak too, although I recall my cup being quite sweet. My husband got a simple Americano. If you want something quick and slightly nicer than the coffee they serve at all the breakfast joints around near Lake Arrowhead village, this will do. Ambiance (5/5): Situated in a little campsite-looking spot among trees and a realtor's office, it was kind of cute in a hipster-trailer-party kind of way. Young and old were gathered, standing around or sitting outside drinking coffee and chatting near a golden sparkly trailer that was taking coffee orders. Another trailer off to the side housed random coffee goods and gear, and made for a cute photoshoot spot. Service (4/5): Very friendly and fast service by the two young ladies working that day despite it being a busy morning. No complaints! Due to convenience and cuteness, I guess we would visit again if we are staying nearby.

I got a chai tea latte (add-on: pumpkin spice) and an americano. Both drinks were amazing. The staff were very friendly. I didn't know if I was able to add pumpkin spice to my chai tea latte but the staff were accommodating. We received our drink fairly quick after ordering. They have outdoor sitting and a small bus on the side with some indoor sitting. This place is a must visit if you ever visit lake arrowhead!!

Me and a group of friends walked from our cabin to this coffee shop. We thought it looked so unique, we had to try it. I'm so glad we did cause the coffee was AMAZING! Totally worth the wait! I ordered the lavender latte, and my hubby ordered the white mocha mocha. I also noticed they were selling coffee passports, which is such a fun thing to do. I made sure to grab one and get my first stamp! If you're in the area, this is a must stop for coffee and tea lovers!

You really can't beat the views of this place. Great concept and cute airstream love the set up. We came here twice while we were in town and best coffee in town in my opinion. The girls were great and friendly, drinks were made promptly. Great flavors first day I had the brown sugar latte so good not too overly sweet good amount of espresso sweet ratio. 2nd day my husband and I tried the caramel macchiato latte and really enjoyed that one as well. Well definitely be back when we're in the area

I took a day trip up to the mountains with my husband and this was our first stop. Though limited in the front, we did find parking right away. It looked like there was a sign pointing to extra parking spots. Parking is one of the things I am always concerned about! Ahah ANYWAY! I tried their pumpkin spice latte and it was good. My husband really loved his honey lavender latte... after I took a sip I wanted that drink instead. Haha. The drinks came out fairly quickly but we also didn't mind waiting because it was just such a nice,aesthetic spot. I liked the renovated parked bus that you could sit in and enjoy your coffee.

Pumpkins chocolate chip muffin was really good. Ordered both Lavender Latte and Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, very well prepped and delicious. These two were not sweet at all. They were very welcoming and pretty quick on getting people in and out. Line gets very long here and wait times can be up to 30-35 mins. From what I notice, a lot of the customers that come here are ordering because they want to post this place for their social media which kind of ruins it for the rest of us but is great marketing for the owners. Ambiance is cool, nothing crazy. Would definitely come back again and will be back tomorrow.

If you're looking for a delicious coffee, tea or beverage, then look no further than Mountain Coffee. This was my first time here and the matcha had the perfect balance of earthiness to sweetness. The service was efficient, and the staff were very friendly. The whole outdoor area really adds to the campfire vibe which is a nice touch. Will definitely be stopping by again for future trips!

This place is a gem. Their coffee menu is basic and then they have an additional menu with more unique options as you can see on the July 4 menu in the pictures. The service is friendly and inviting. They had a DJ set during our July 4 visit that brought the vibes. Loved the layout and drink options here. Worth the visit. The Golden Milk Latte was good. I loved the Coconut Caramel Macchiato way more though. I just wanted to try something new. It was busy on July 4. We probably waited more than 20 mins standing in line and waiting for our order. Ambiance: super cute and nice for photo ops Food: we went at about 10ish waited about 30 mins or so in line and food was sold out. I don't think they are prepared for the amount of people they get. Drinks: had a large party with me we all got a mix of drinks and they were all super tasty. Deff worth the wait. Service: the cashier wasn't too friendly she seemed annoyed we asked about the food but the barista was very nice. I would have given it 5 stars if we had a chance to try the food.

If you're anywhere near Lake Arrowhead, you have to stop by Mountain Coffee Co.. This might honestly be the best coffee spot in the entire San Bernardino Mountains. It's a trailer based coffee shop with a sleek black and gold theme, parked right in the middle of the forest and snow. Super quirky, super cool, and such a vibe. There's something about ordering coffee from a shiny trailer surrounded by tall pine trees that just hits different. Ordering was easy. Even though there was a long line, the staff moved efficiently and made sure every order was correct. You could tell they cared about getting it right, not just rushing people through. I tried six different items on their menu and every single one was good. I personally got the Banana Pancake, which was smooth and flavorful, but their Caramel Macchiato is the best one in my opinion. Perfect balance, not overly sweet, just done right. I would easily add 20 extra minutes to my drive just to grab coffee from this place again. If I'm back in Lake Arrowhead, this is a must stop every time.

saw this place on tiktok and decided to check it out! very cute place. after looking at surrounding places, it probably the best coffee in the area. our barista was friendly and happily answered our questions. we got the lucky charm latte which was great! and the banana matcha (upgraded to ceremonial which i recommend) which was also good but on the sweeter side! read more

I got the brown sugar cinnamon latte with oatmilk and cold foam. It tasted bitter and watery at first. It tasted smoother and less watery after it sat for like an hour... BUT the salted caramel latte both iced and cold were good! The hot one was the best though! The coffee was overall okay/good but the vibes and aesthetic are mostly what you're paying for. They had nice music playing and a separate truck with merch. There was a long line but service was pretty fast-ish. read more

Perfect coffee shop for the cozy mountain community! Was visiting family for the weekend and decided I needed a little pick me up while I ran some errands around the mountain. I had seen that this cute little shop opened and I was excited to try it! Service was good, the two girls working were kind and were both working hard to get the drinks out. There were a few other people there other me, nothing crazy though thankfully. I decided to skip on the food options as they were very limited and not anything I'd like personally. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk. The coffee was good! I enjoyed the taste of lavender, it was subtle but still there. The espresso here is on the lighter side, the coffee did not taste strong which Is personally the way I like it, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea (or coffee in this case lol). As for the review that comments on the froth of the latte, I will say it's true, but the taste was good and I know they're just starting so I think it was amazing. They absolutely nailed the design though, so well planned out, it's a cute trendy little coffee shop. I wish nothing but success for them and hope to see more businesses like this open up in the area. Definitely recommend and I'll be back when visiting family! read more

My friends and I came here after our trip to Lake Arrowhead. We stopped here for a quick little drink before heading back to the city. It's located in the middle of a small parking lot. The menu is even smaller. With just a few drink choices, I was happy to see they had matcha. I was even more delighted to find out they had oat milk too. The matcha had a wonderfully rich and earthy flavor! It was perfect on its own. Definitely did not need any sweetener added to it. A super cute coffee spot with wonderful service. i'm all for waiting in line for a good cup of coffee but waiting over an hour while the baristas are truly just laughing/messing around behind the counter was ridiculous. the drinks were good but i wouldn't come back for the quality and service. if they mentioned that the wait would take around 40 minutes to an hour it would've been better but there was no communication or hustle. read more

Waited in line for 15 minutes to have two dudes order 11 drinks in front of me all custom drinks now it's my turn to order and I asked the lady, just curious is there anyway you can make a small cup of coffee in the mix of all of those drinks and she said I'm sorry the way the line works is you have to wait till the end then she told them it'd be probably 30 minutes until those drinks were done so I'll be looking at hour wait to get one cup of coffee, pretty inconsiderate and not efficient. I wish this place well but come on. Let's learn how to run a business here. To the lady running the orders, come on let's help a brother out. The two dudes that ordered 11 Custom drinks let's leave that to Starbucks who can handle the workload. read more

It looks like I went at the right place at the right time because I was craving a nice cup of coffee and mountain coffee Sure delivered. I knew I was at the right place because it was a small line forming behind me. The place is small and quaint And the service is personalized. It's a favorite of many of the locals so you know it's good. I had a simple vanilla latte with a scone. Both were delicious. My daughter had a Matcha and she loved it. Love love love. I can't say enough good things about a coffee shop with a cozy, inviting aesthetic, yummy chai and great customer service! I've visited Mountain Coffee a few times on two separate trips up to Lake Arrowhead and have loved my experience each time. I'm more of a tea drinker than coffee drinker and really enjoyed the chai concentrate they use. We also ordered bagels each visit -- we've tried blueberry (SO GOOD, might be seasonal?) and the everything bagels. The whipped cream cheese is delish read more

If you're nearby, this is a must visit! I ordered a pumpkin spice latte & it was delicious! My sister ordered a cinnamon roll iced latte with cold foam, which was also very yummy. Hot chocolate is also a worth a try, very smooth and not overly sweet. Great service & great coffee. read more

The beverages are delicious! There were 4 of us and two had tea and the other two had coffee. The owner was welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. The setting is just perfect and we are happy to have made it part of our visit. The van and the location make it perfect for a photo opportunity. read more

Unfortunately my wife lost the lid to her metal coffee tumbler and did not realize it until she made it back to camp. After calling the store, they originally did not see it but took her number down. Luckily after an hour, they called back and found her lid next to the door water dispenser. Very thankful for their diligence and great customer service. Cute little shop and will definitely be back if we are in Big Bear again! As for the bagels, they were really fresh and the scouts enjoyed them thoroughly!

Operating out of a striking all-gold Airstream, this coffee shop is as flashy as it is charming. It practically glows in the morning sun, making it a beacon for anyone in search of a quality cup of coffee. Despite a busy morning rush, the staff kept things moving quickly and smoothly. Service was impressively fast, and every order seemed to come out right on time -- a rare treat when the line is long. I ordered the cinnamon brown sugar latte, and it did not disappoint. The coffee was bold, rich, and dark, perfectly balanced with the warmth of cinnamon and sweetness of brown sugar. It was flavorful without being overly sweet, and clearly crafted with care. The setup around the Airstream includes plenty of seating, so even with the crowd, finding a spot to sit and sip wasn't an issue. The vibe is relaxed, with a cool blend of mountain-town casual and modern flair. A word to the wise: they close at 1 PM, so this is definitely a morning spot.
