The complex has 2 grass fields and 3 turf fields. Turf fields double as soccer fields and baseball diamonds, (not my favorite) The entire complex is ran by the county, so when it rains they tend to cancel games on the grass fields to quickly. Grass fields are still in great shape and play very well. Plenty of bleacher seating and it's all protected with a huge netting system above your head for safety. The complex operates a very clean concessions stand. Clean restrooms, both located dead center of the fields. Huge play structure for the younger kids not yet playing sports. 2 parking areas, but parking is still tight on game days.

The parking is plentiful and the area is immaculate! There's picnic tables, a small playground, and restrooms. My favorite is the little wooded walking trail that I can take my dog for a walk through. Daily you can find little league teams practicing or playing games, people meeting up for impromptu games, or people just enjoying the area. One note is that it can get very busy on the weekends when several games are going on. Sometimes the parking does spill over into our neighborhood, which isn't usually a problem - people seem polite about it overall. This has been a great addition to the neighborhood and I'm glad to live so close to it!

I was also excited for my daughter to do Ballet here, as she had done Daddy Daughter ballet with Mr. B here and loved it. Well let me tell you what a waste of money and time. The classes don't start or end on time. We have a class that is scheduled for 45 minutes and usually get from 30-35 minutes IN class with instruction. That's not okay. EspThere is no consistency and I called and left Ann Satterfield, the program coordinator, a message three times (including today,) and she never got back to me. The gymnastics program director is Coach Lauren and she did call me back and still the issues persist with the gymnastics classes despite her intervention. I guess summer camps and the playground here is all that GH is good for. Ann used to be at Conestoga, where I had loads of issues with horrible staff, and now that she is here it's happening. Maybe it's her that is the root of the problem because she certainly isn't part of the solution. 3 weeks later and no credit or contact from Ann or Catherine. Guess the integrity is as good as the classes here. Don't waste your time and efforts here!

My go to is the weight/cardio room, and their fitness room has everything you need to get that balanced workout. They also have dance/studios where the classes are held (I.e. Zumba, Pilates, Cardio circuit strength training, Tai Chi, aerobics, yoga). I bought the deluxe pass that gives me access to all fitness programs and drop in classes at this location and all other Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation Center locations, which includes swimming, too. They also have a locker room for day use, showering and a stretching area in the same vicinity.

In my opinion, their loss. This club is not only the best bang for your buck in Clark County with all the ammenities it offers but management and whole staff (incl Jody) do a great job. Everyone is nice and helpful. Someone mentioned VTC for tennis, I am still a member there and like the classes and pros a lot, but it's next to impossible to get a court. And while the annual dues my be low, it's very expensive overall. CGM has several days of free play for men and women, they provide balls for our tennis matches and Carlos & Emory are just the best. I love the fact that it is private and they limit the membership so we can all use the facility for tennis, pickleball, gym, pools, saunas, classes, etc., when we want.

A lot of good employees, but management is "the customer comes last" at all times. The rudeness…read moreof Jody and the general ghosting by management whenever there is a problem makes VTC a much better choice for a serious tennis player. The best proof is management knows that Jody is a problem for the members (see the posts here), but doesn't care. Sort of sad because Carlos and his group are really trying. Knew the former owners, and can tell you don wouldn't have put up with it (now both deceased). Pretty well known person who gets around who normally you wouldn't want to offend too much, but you reap what you sow.

Don't go here. Sure…read morethe space is great, the center is clean, the parking is wonderful. And that is it. The staff here for private events are the worst. Firstly, front desk flat out told me no, we couldn't set up the chairs and tables early even though the room wasn't in use and it would cost us extra. Okay, you can't set up early, no problemWhen father came, they told him "well maybe, it may cost extra, we will have to see." Interesting how the answer change for a woman versus a man? Flat no for me and oh we will see for him? Service for the room. The family had reserved the south room with the stage and projector. They had it part of their package as they were going to project a video and wanted the stage for the live band... tell me why they told my friends family "we will have to charge you extra" to get the projector fixed that my friends family paid for?? Why are you telling us you are going to charge us for something you are supposed to provide? Make it make sense? Because we lost that space on the stage the band had to perform on the floor taking space from our dance floor... they refused to compromise/accommodate us for the lack of the thing my friends paid for. We had no dance floor, we had barely any space which we would have had if we actually had the stage. No one really danced, it killed the vibes of what was supposed to be a beautiful coming of age celebration. Honestly, the space may be gorgeous but the service is so atrocious that you shouldn't come here.

Beautiful venue, but the experience was extremely disappointing…read more I hosted my daughter's quinceañera here, and unfortunately the staff made the event far more stressful than it needed to be. They were rude, unaccommodating, and repeatedly interrupted us throughout the night to remind us about wrapping up even though there was no event scheduled after ours. It felt like they were rushing us out the entire time. Initially, we booked the venue when talking to the coordinator that we would be allowed to have our service dog there. The staff was questioning why our service dog was at the party and we have had that conversation already & the coordinator said it would be okay. On top of that, the projector screen was positioned in a way that blocked the stage, and we were told we'd have to pay extra to use the stage even though the issue was due to their equipment being broken before our event. It was unreasonable and frustrating. Overall, the constant interruptions and lack of professionalism from the staff overshadowed what should have been a special celebration. The venue may be beautiful, but the service completely ruined the experience.

There's wood paneling which helps you feel immersed into nature. There's an informational desk about the area, helpful for visitors newish to the area or those with questions. The gift shop is also accessible with the usual offerings of post cards, tchotchkes, and such. Do note that the restrooms are accessible outdoors at the side of the building. There's a pay area part of the center which is $5/18+, $2.50/7-17, free for 6 years old or younger, and family $15 for 2 adults and children 7-17 years old. They also honor veteran's disabled pass, WA state disabled pass, and senior limited income pass. It's definitely worth the admission, since there's a lot of exhibits explaining the geology of the area, the flora and fauna, the native peoples, and the later commercial and recreational uses of the area. There's even a place where you can walk into a huge mock up of Mt St Helens! Very fun. They have a short film playing about the eruption too. I didn't get to explore much outside as it was super rainy, but I saw a boardwalk trail out in the back. I did not see Mt St Helens due to the weather, but I'll be back when the weather is nicer!
