All around awesome!!…read more Excellent professIonal Service!! Thank you Christalight!!

Very unprofessional since day 1…read more We had an appointment to check the place out and the owner nabely did not pay us much attention because she was "busy", and she did this at every appointment but we decided to go with the place because it was beautiful and had everything we needed. So we thought. we Went with the smallest package because I wanted to decorate myself. she said " your wedding is destined to fail" because I didn't wanna pay the extra $4000 just for her to decorate?? she said the oven came with the hall Then days before my wedding she told me the racks in the oven were gone because someone else rented them. So we had to Buy some. months before the wedding I told her in great description what tables i Wanted to use and how I want them set up. Day of the wedding comes along and she has the completely wrong tables out which messes up my whole seating chart so I had to have my family run around and move all the tables around, decorate and coordinate with the caterer. Thankfully they got it all done in time. Some things were messed up because they didn't have enough time due to the tables. my bridesmaid had to get dressed in the bridal sweet because she was nice enough to help set Up and the bridal sweet had a window wide open and Everyone could see her dressing if they walked by. ??? day of coordinator/owner Jason was on point the whole wedding made sure I had what I needed but at the end of the night when my family was done cleaning up he said " okay now get the fuck out my building". i would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Recently went to a murder mystery event here and had a blast. It was so much fun walking through…read morethe museum, which I never knew existed. Seeing the historic importance, the displays and fascinating information. I really loved just looking at the displays, absorbing the culture and history and seeing the varied rooms (loved the church!!!) So thrilled they held this event here so I could see this lovely museum!

Coming from Pawtucket, the home of the American Industrial Revolution, I'd never made the trek all…read morethe way out to Woonsocket to check the museum out. But my now LA-based daughter was visiting, and wanted to see the Welcome blanket exhibit since her friend had one on display. (I'm not certain how a museum here is the recipient of 330 handmade quilts and blankets - 99 of which are on display - that will be distributed by Dorcas House to new immigrants, but it's pretty cool right? Maybe because southern New England was the center of US cloth manufacture through the early-mid 20th century?) Ad for the Museum itself: the cultural component of this mill community is front and center. The space is set up in a number of immersive dioramas - rooms and areas visitors walk through to get an experience of those who lived there. The first stop is a farm cabin in Quebec in snowy winter where (push the doorbell) a family decides to move south in the hope of a better life working in the mills. In the replica of a French Canadian Catholic Church we read about religious life in America, and sit in pews near the actual mosaic altar boys to learn a bit about the wave of immigration and the mill worker experience, there's a credit union (kind of explains the Bailey Savings & Loan in It's a Wonderful Life). There's a school room, complete with a teacher/priest and books in the desks in French and English. On the stairs to the second floor, pass posters and stories about others groups of immigrants to the area, along with the rooms upstairs: Woonsocket baseball players, tenement houses, mill and factory memorabilia, and a room set up with the equipment workers toiled at. Oh - dint miss the display of a union hall! My daughter buzzes through art museums. We were here for about 2 hours. And then we got to the room with the blankets. Quite a relevant history lesson here!

We got a chocolate killer slice of cake of vanilla and a chocolate peanut butter cake! These were bursting with flavor and so moist and fresh with a perfect amount of frosting! A very spacious bakery with a very nice attentive staff that answered all of our questions. Ice cream stand was not open today which was a little bit of a disappointment, but we will definitely be coming back again! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area you won't be disappointed!

They have many other amazing pastries, breads and cakes. I have never been disappointed. The staff always patient and helpful despite how busy they are. As this is also a dairy, they have available their milk. The maple milk (available in small bottles) is remarkably fresh and flavorful - highly recommend. Their ice cream is also available to take out. In the warmer parts of the year there is an onsite ice cream stand run outside in an old camper - charming! They do custom cakes and orders, handled in an office onsite. Plenty of parking. They also have a self guided tour of the dairy operation.

On December 8th I went to visit a friend at VFW POST # 7 on Social Street in Woonsocket, it was…read moreabout 2pm, it took a couple of minutes to get the bartender Fred's attention there were about 6 patrons at the bar. After a couple of beers noticed about 5 more patrons had come into the bar, by then it was 4:30pm. I noticed to my right a few seats over someone smoking a cigarette, then two woman to the side of me lit up their cigarettes and I then called over the bartender and asked him why are people smoking inside the bar instead of going outside to smoke as the law requires. He barked at me "don't worry about it " I am worried about it I shouldn't have to be breathing in somebody's second hand smoke, he said leave if you don't like it, another guy at the bar smoking screams at me I have stage 4 lung cancer ha ha, and I said to him that is a pretty good reason to quit, he said I'm the commander of this post and if I don't give a *hit if people are smoking in here then you shouldn't. After verbally jousting with the patrons as I was leaving, I was confronted by a patron who wanted to fight, I told him sit down you look and sound like a fool. Keep in mind these VFW posts are supposed to be for active or retired military which I am, l also question the personnel hired by this post...are they even veterans? Or handed the job as a favor?are they certified? Hoping the city of Woonsocket looks into the daily smoking that magically happens at 4:30pm daily.....I give this facility one star.
