This location is convenient for me. Now I do want to start off by saying after so long and several trials and errors, I can proudly say I am CCRI's Class of 2025! I graduated happily last month and that was all thanks to the Fresh Start Scholarship that the school provides it gives students 2 years free to obtain their associates degree to returning students and adult learners like myself. It was my saving grace, between this scholarship and Pell grants I got my degree debt free, didn't pay not one Penny thank you CCRI! I attended mostly online classes which was perfect as I was working while going to school. But I did attend few of my classes in person and I did enjoy the professors very much- they're much better than when I remember from way back when- they seemed to care and were able to teach properly without just reading you a PowerPoint. The campus is huge and has tons of space to study, cozy chairs and tables and a lot of common areas to mingle and catch up. I also was apart of Phi Theta Kappa the International Honor Society for 2 year colleges. The school has a chapter if you get accepted into the program please join it's so worth it so many perks- this is invite only based on your academic excellence grades. They also have tons of clubs get involved and meet new people and have fun. My guidance counselor Dennis B was awesome. He helped me with my game plan the whole way through and helped me succeed and he was my saving grace! It starts off great when you have an academic advisor on the same page as you. Also if you're struggling financially and think you have to quit school- don't. Check out your options and resources at the school, they might be able to help. Essentially they want to see you win not lose. CCRI was great to me. But I don't miss that huge hill and the horrendous parking, or forgetting where I parked because I was running late to class, that's the only thing I don't miss. To students fresh out of high school you DONT have to attend a university or an expensive school right away just because someone said so, CCRI is perfect to go debt free and get the same education as everyone else. That's just my opinion. Especially since right out of high school we don't know what we want to do or if we do we change our mind several times. Give it a go! Adult learners as well go back and get that degree!

Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) was established in 1964 and is the only public community…read morecollege in RI and it's the largest in New England. The main location is in Warwick and there are various other locations throughout the state; those locations are Providence, Lincoln, Newport, and Westerly. There are approximately 16,000 students and 300 staff. This building in Warwick, was built as a brutalist style; it was considered contemporary in the 1970s. I think it looks like a large submarine; personally, I think it's an ugly building lol. The parking lot is huge but always packed; it's on a hill so if you're parked all the way at the bottom of the hill, you're going to need to give yourself extra time to get to class. I took a few semesters at CCRI, and many of those classes were at this campus. Since this college was more affordable for me, this was the best route at the time. I had a good experience while studying there. The teachers I had were decent. My plan was to get my Associates degree and then transfer to a 4 year college. I deducted a star because the wait-list for certain programs was astronomical. I was on a wait-list for the X-ray technician program and that was about a 3-5 year long wait from what I recall. Overall, I think it's a great school to start your college career after high school. It's also a great place to take refresher courses. They also offer 1 year certificate programs. If I was still living in RI, I would definitely take some courses, especially if it's free or partially free.

He has excelled academically, has had opportunities in sports & clubs galore. He has fostered friendships with respectful, good kids that will last a lifetime. Learning how to give back to the community and help the less fortunate are personality traits that have been instilled in everyone at Lasalle. The teachers and staff are friendly and always readily accessible. If I have a question, it will be answered promptly no matter what it is about. My son is assigned a class dean & counselor that will stay with him until he graduates, they really get to know one another and can watch my son grow throughout the 4 yrs. Not only does Lasalle prepare the student for college but help us along the path too. Our world is changing fast and we feel that Moses Brown is focused on the world that our girls will thrive in bc of their experiences and problem solving skills. No school is perfect but from our experience we feel that MB partners with us as parents to help mentor our kids to be the best they can be, to help make the world around them a better place and to feel Confident in their abilities. Kudos to Gordon for seeing an a opportunity to support kids athletics and make a little money! The school is nestled off a major road, in a suburban neighborhood. Not a large parking lot, but enough spots that we require. Cute little playground. The facility is very clean with ample bathrooms (they have baby wipes and offer free lady products in the bathrooms!) The gymnasium is in great condition with bleachers. So I called LICENSING ON THEM AND LICENSING TOLD ME TO CALL CHILD NEGLECT!!! As other people said there is a HUGE disconnect between the staff there. It's honestly sad. PLEASE DONT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE. I honestly feel bad allowing my daughter to stay in this kind of environment. Kayla is honestly the only genuine person there and it just shows through how she is with the kids . Everyone else seems like they have no children experience. There's an isabel that works there as well and she's terrible. A little boy Malachi used to bully my daughter and other little kids. Why did this ISABEL ISOLATE MY CHILD... when clearly that child is the problem. And yes I seen it; it was during breakfast time when I first dropped her off and this boy kept bothering her and my daughter was moved to a table all alone... luckily another staff seen it and realized my daughter was alone and sat another student next to her. She has learned so much since she has been there and I can't wait to see what else she learns! After taking a year off due to covid and my loss of job they were happy to take her back and welcomed her with open arms. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday which is great because she can be very shy. I recommend totally kids to all my mom friends when they are looking for childcare.

I asked her teachers what happened they said "they never noticed anything" & then continued to tell me all these imaginary scenarios on how it could've gotten there. At the end of the day no one could tell me how it got there and all they could say was that they didn't notice anything and that she wasn't crying. Smh i spoke to jenn poole the director and all she could tell me was the same thing the teachers said that they didn't know how it got there & shes sorry. Lack of supervision is an understanding. No one was watching my child & no one working there could tell me how it happened. My child had that bruise for over a week. Im pretty sure my 2 year old was crying but they didn't notice anything. Do yourself a favor - Do not bring your child here.
