Were suuuuuper helpful during an emergency (screw fell out of my glasses' frame along with lens) and a quick thinking diy fix. The front staff really took an interest and concern! We also had some scheduling issues with the Canadian 1 train being late, and they were able to accommodate us switching nights around. The first night had a bunk bed room and two showers (the one shower was standing only and about the size of the one on the train (the bonus being it didn't move)) and the second room was two double and a pullout couch and one big shower with deep tub and removable shower head. There is an included continental breakfast that my parents were impressed by, and I thought just ok, but I'm definitely not quibbling after the service! read more

I purchase the room online with Expedia and it was a very smooth process. Upon check in, the motel is following all Covid protocols and seemed very clean out front. We had to reserve our hot tub time which was limited to one 1/2 hour slot. During these Covid times that's better than nothing! They do not allow large equipment (skis or snowboards) into the rooms but they do have lockers that are free of charge to use. The parking lot is in the middle of the motel so most of the parking is convenient to the rooms. This motel seemed to be recently renovated as the exterior and interior of the rooms seemed modern and clean lines. The first room we had actually smelled like smoke which was very bothersome. Luckily they had an extra room and we were able to switch rooms to one that did not smell. This is also the only motel in Jasper that offers free breakfast! They breakfast was a simple check list style that you then bring to the cafeteria and they give you a to go box with your food / drinks. The coffee from the cafeteria is the same as the coffee in the rooms (not the best coffee but it does the job). We had a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, a slice of banana bread, an apple, and a yogurt. Lots of food and we didn't even take all the things possible for us to take. Overall this motel was a good value for what we paid and I would stay here again! Jasper is small enough that this motel is close to everything in "downtown". read more

We stayed here for five nights in the Patricia Suite. The room was well appointed with a lovely shower and air jet tub, and plenty of space and natural light, plus a little gas fireplace. Only blips are the carpet doesn't fit well and needs some restretching here and there, and the fridge door is hung on the side opposite of useful (so you bend over it or crouch against the wall to access). There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but you can still get a free breakfast at Mount Robson Inn. My expectations were generally met here; there are cold and hot items, and an abundance of middling coffee. The room where you grab your breakfast food would be hugely improved by a process improvement exercise for flow. It was mind-boggling how just moving a couple of stations around could have created a flow that would not require patrons to bunch up, move from the middle to the left then the right, and so on. Everything is scrupulously clean and staff are at the ready here. The juice machine was broken for our stay, and unfortunately juice boxes were all at room temp; a definite no from me there. I would have given this one more star were it not for the Friday (our last full day/night) where no one came to tend our suite at all. We were chilling in there until 1130, and no one knocked, so we left the "maid pls" logo sign on the door when we went to lunch. Got back and saw nothing changed and the sign still there. Left the cleaner a tip because I'm not a complete savage, but did note to the front desk who conveyed apologies when I checked out. Overall: OK but I won't choose again. My mother once told me, "You are not a lucky person; prepare accordingly." Not one of my favourite memories, and probably not altogether true, but this stay sure made me think once again that maybe she was right. read more

I just got home after an enjoyable weekend at the Mt. Robson Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the front desk staff efficient and helpful and the staff working hard to box up breakfasts were great. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Jasper! read more

I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It was walkable to the downtown area, had a great staff, and was very accommodating. We checked in very late, but it was very efficient. We were given a choice of a complimentary bottle of red or white wine. They also offered us free breakfast in the morning, which we took advantage us. The breakfast was convenient, easy, and had a decent selection. The staff was nice, competent, and hard working. Our room was quiet, clean, and updated. It was a bit small, but we do nothing in the room other than change, shower, and sleep, so we don't need much. We had absolutely no issues and we will definitely be looking to stay at Mount Robson Inn again in the future. read more

Nice place. We had been staying at the Fairmont at Lake Louise and were somewhat apprehensive about the Jasper hotels. However, the Mount Robson lodge was very comfortable, clean, and organized. The rooms were a nice size and well appointed. The breakfast exceeded my expectations on quality and variety. There was a mix up on reservations, but the hotel Manager Marina was very polite and understanding. Marina addressed the issue promptly. read more

IF I COULD GOVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! This hotel is NOT SAFE!! The staff is in the lobby WITHOUT MASKS, they have a plexi glass up but are all walking around without masks. The manager doesn't even wear a mask!! THE ROOMS SMELL- the rooms smell musty, do not look anything like the photos online, they have clearly been edited and brightened the photos when in reality they are dark and dingy. NO MANAGER ON SITE AFTERHOURS- any issues you are told you have to wait until next business day as they don't have authority to make any decisions. While standing in the lobby for 5 minutes I overheard someone call about their power being out, another lady walked in because she had no hair dryer, her garbage was overflowing and when she asked for 4 towels was questioned about number of people in her room and asked to only take 2. This hotel is disgusting and terrible and absolutely would not recommend to anyone to stay here!!! read more

We enjoyed our time at Mount Robson Inn. We booked through Expedia so did not have much interaction with the inn prior to checking in but had friendly enough service throughout our stay. The room was much more modern and well kept than you would expect from the exterior of the hotel and our only problem with the room itself was that the bathroom was not actually closed off, it was sectioned off by portable walls that left you no privacy in the bathroom. The inn was a ten minute walk to downtown through a cute neighborhood and was great location overall. The daily breakfast was what one can expect of a free hotel breakfast but we appreciated it nonetheless and were able to pack snacks for our hikes later in the day. read more

Stayed a couple of nights. I booked with Expedia and got a queen sized bed room for $119/night during Christmas holidays. The room was quite modern. The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Due to the size they have some sliding screens that you move when using the bathroom. It's quite open but they did a great job utilizing the space. The only negative about the room is that they have a lounge chair but no good sitting space. My husband and I wanted to play some cards and it was really awkward sitting. We called and asked if we could sit where they serve breakfast and they said no. They didn't have any other seating. We ended up having to go into town so we didn't kill our backs. Besides that, the hotel staff were nice, the free breakfast was tasty, the hot tubs were hot, and I would totally recommend staying here! read more

FALSE ADVERTISING. While looking at the booking rooms online; we were very excited, they looked great! We couldn't have been more wrong. After parking on the street because the motel didn't have ample parking; we checked in at the registration desk; a room of which looks like a 70's ski resort with a faded piece of art, a very old couch, and somewhat dirty floor and walls. Anyway, looking past that; we mustered the strength to carry our luggage about a block due to the lack of parking; and had to navigate our way around two smoking middle-age women blocking the stairs to our room (not the hotel's fault .. but if that's the kind of patrons that go there .. you tell me) while getting a peek at the dirty hot tubs out front. When we went into our room; it was pretty nice but VERY BADLY LAID OUT. The bed was RIGHT BESIDE THE DOOR. Why in the utter heck would you design a room like that? There was also a dusty CRT TV with nothing but pretty much basic cable, and a dirty couch in front of the window. Thankfully the jacuzzi was clean and the bathroom looked renovated; but the stains on the carpet said otherwise about the quality of the room. For nearly $300 a night I was and am severely dissapointed. The service was friendly enough; if not rushed .. but the motel (we didn't even know it was/would be a motel from the fancy advertising) was extremely dissapointing, dilapidated, and badly designed. For what they charge I would've expected something other than a bunch of stacked cubular rooms and absolutely no parking the first night. We will probably not be back. read more

I have stayed at Mount Robson several times now, usually during Jasper in January. There two outdoor hot tubs are a decent size and usually a good place to socialize. I love the fact that they offer a free breakfast. There is enough variety to satisfy all including hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt w fruit, and waffles. Prices in Jasper seem to be climbing and I found that for the price, the queen room was very small; so small that I could literally touch the bathroom door my foot while lying on my bed ! read more

I absolutely adored this place. The outside is a bit deceiving - looks like a regular lodge. The inside was beautiful. We booked a deluxe suite, with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was separate from the sleeping area, accompanied by a couch, a fireplace, and a TV. Having that separation really adds to the feel of the suite. The shower was beautiful. I loved having the sink on the outside, not inside the bathroom. It allowed one person to get ready while the other used the bathroom. Helpful! The bed was comfortable, the TV channels ample. Service was outstanding and having a separate entrance allowed us to come and go as we please. Breakfast was delicious! I wish the coffee was stronger, but I mean, that's a personal preference. My mom, aunts and I ended up spending a night here after our stay in Banff got cancelled due to the flooding. We were able to book a last minute room and were very glad we chose this place! The room was on the second floor and had a very roomy bathroom area that looked recently renovated. The 2 sinks, one outside and the one inside with the tub were quite a hit since there were 4 of us staying here; nice bathtub/shower, everything bright and clean. My family also loved the fridge and microwave option and bemoaned the fact that we had to change lodging the next night. Location was also nice, within walking distance of town and it is in a nice neighborhood right off the main road. There were 2 hot tubs, which we sadly didn't have a chance to use and they offered a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The only complaint would be that we couldn't quite get the AC working so the room was a bit warm and we would prefer beds that were a little firmer...my mom and I thought they were soft as they we are used to harder mattresses so my back was a bit sore... Overall, a great deal for the cost! We also had our timing right so it wasn't busy around town yet so nice and quiet...saw some reviews that the area could get noisy during ski season, but we were here June 21st.... read more

Rooms are okay , nothing fancy smelly at first but goes away after AC, but clean , service great, loved the $2 laundry machines, breakfast better than most (with pancakes, omelletes, cereal, fruits, yogurt, breads/muffins etc) which we really appreciate with kids, location fab near downtown! The rooms are nothing fancy, but the hot tubs are great and spacious, the staff is kind and helpful, and there is a decent continental breakfast. This is a great place to stay when visiting Jasper! We booked a 4 person room (i.e. two queen beds) for one night for just $180 and it was a very pleasant stay. Even with the two beds, the room is very spacious and comfortable. There are two sinks - one inside the bathroom and one out and trust me, this is a great thing to have when 4 people are sharing a room! The temperature was maintained just right for mid April, neither too hot or cold. There was the usual continental breakfast built into the price of the room but in the case of Mount Robson the food was exceptional - I especially loved the fact that there were waffle irons for making yourself a fresh waffle! Location-wise, the inn is on Connaught Drive, right at the edge of town, but is easily walking distance to downtown as well. The receptionist who checked us in and out was super helpful in providing suggestions for the best places to visit and dine at when touring Jasper. I think I'll be making Mount Robson my first resort for accomodation any time I visit Jasper! read more

Nice, clean place to stay in Jasper. Not right downtown but an easy walk for sure even with a 4 year old and a baby. Very nice running trails near the inn and friendly staff and owner. We didn't use the pool or spa. Outdoor corridor hotels aren't my favorite but this was nice and seems like it would be great in winter. No complaints here and we would be happy to stay there again. read more

My spouse and I decided to treat ourselves to a stay in the Patricia Suite at Mount Robson Inn for our anniversary. It's actually the honeymoon suite which has a jacuzzi, fireplace, awesome shower, respectable king bed, etc. It was nice to feel like we were staying in another home. There didn't seem to be many people rooming at the hotel, so it was very peaceful. It's within walking distance of downtown Jasper if you aren't feeling lazy. We didn't bother eating at the restaurant or using the whirlpools. It wasn't a cheap stay, but I'd recommend it if you're up to splurging on yourself. read more

We have had such a good stay here. We arrived in Jasper at 7am on the Greyhound bus and they had the room cleaned for us as soon as the previous guests had checked out. We were able to get into the room by 9am. The room is large and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast looks very good. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the shopping area. There is a coach from outside to the Skytram which was a good trip. The staff in the hotel have all been friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Jasper. read more

Rooms are nice, clean, updated. You wouldn't think so if judging solely on the drive up and parking lot. Front desk staff, not helpful, cheerful or accommodating. Booking by phone would lead you to believe that the staff is warm and friendly. However, when you are actually in town and standing in their not so updated, smells like cigarette smoke lobby, you are just a number, not a guest. I quite liked our room; it was a renovated single queen bed room, nothing to fancy but very comfortable. The bathroom though?? I'm not sure how the other rooms are but ours had a weird pair of sliding door panels that didn't even fit together or lock or anything. The shower was a lot nicer than a lot of hotels in the same price range. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly too. The location is far from the main strip, but it's a little quieter that way. The grounds are nice too. I'd recommend this to a traveller or a couple that doesn't mind hearing each other in the bathroom; not so much recommended for couples or groups wanting more out of their room than the necessities. read more

I booked the Sunwapta Suite for my husband's 40th birthday. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! We've stayed in nicer and cleaner rooms in a Super 8 motel. The pictures and descriptions on the website are extremely deceiving. When I called to reserve I specifically told them it was for a quiet romantic weekend. They did not warn me that this room was directly in front of the two large outdoor public hot tubs and with it came loud drunk obnoxious people yelling and whooping it up past the time it was supposed to close down. Now the room...... the first thing that hit me was the overwhelming smell of body/foot odour. The bed was honestly 3 feet from the door and not "sumptuous" as the website said. The "adjacent cozy sitting area" to the tub was a joke. It consisted of a chair clear across the room. Secondly this is NOT A SUITE. It is a motel room. One single room. The bathroom was sort of clean. Thankfully there were no stray hairs but the grime around the sink and floor of the shower was nasty. The "extra pampering" must have been the paper cups for the instant coffee. Or maybe the extra set of towels is what set this room apart from the others and gave them reason to charge $100+ more a night than their standard king room. Finally there is no handicap parking and when asked where we could park, we were told "on the street." I guess we should've gone somewhere else but they took the charges from my credit card BEFORE we even arrived. That should've been a red flag. read more

Basically, Mount Robson Inn is an overpriced motel. The bathrooms are clean and there's air conditioning in the rooms, but you can hear when the people in the rooms above and around you are taking showers or having sex, and the truck unloading supplies parked outside your window at 8am. The cost of this hotel was waaay over what I would normally pay for a much nicer hotel elsewhere, but I booked rather late, and there didn't seem to be much availability (not true, actually - there are tens of homes nearby providing accommodations, some with private baths). The hotel advertises free internet, but then limits you to one password per person. Someone like me, with both a laptop and a phone, is out of luck. Turns out that all that doesn't really matter, because the internet connection is so poor, that uploading a single photo can take hours. read more
