I walked in & was checked into a room quickly, then an older nurse with short blonde-gray hair came in, I was trying to explain my symptoms which was difficult as I had not been able to sleep in over 24 hours, was having trouble breathing & feeling very lightheaded. The nurse got extremely rude & basically said she didn't know why I didn't go to riverside hospital & that she "didn't know what my expectations were here." At this point I was crying & my sister that came with me was getting upset. So we decided to leave as this was turning into a horrible experience. Then as we left that same nurse was asking if we were sure we wanted to leave & how they would take care of me but is saying this outside around her coworkers after she behaved so rudely inside the room when it was just my sister & I. I'm very disappointed to be treated that way in an ER of all places!! I know many nurses & people in healthcare & they were appalled to hear how I was treated.

We waited a long time. We watched everyone go in and leave. Then when we were finally seen, the nurse was extremely rude. She said he looked fine and said the doctor said he looked fine. She had her back to us the whole time entering info into the computer. She never turned around to look at us. She never offered a kind word. She had a terrible attitude and was very unpleasant. My son's sodium level was dangerously low and he needed to be admitted to the hospital. So we ended up taking him as the transport would have taken several hours. He was at risk of having seizures or worse. The next time we need to go to the ER we will make the 30 minute drive to Riverside Hospital where we can get real healthcare professionals to see us.

The staff was warm and welcoming from the initial interaction at the front desk to the completion of the visit. Every nurse was kind and caring and all the physicians were equally, if not more. Trust me I have had a great number encounters with doctors considering my line of work and this has not been the constant. So you go to the urgent care as instructed. You present them with your drivers license and insurance card. Then wait for about 10-15 minutes for you name to be called to go into one of the examination rooms. Once you've entered the examination room the nurse (RN) prompts you with some general questions like what is your height and weight? You go through and answer all her questions so that the physician on call can treat your condition you've come in for. What I like that Ohio Health Urgent Care has that you all may not be aware of is they just got the EMR which is an electronic medical record system that the physician can just look through the computer and see what's wrong with you and that system stores your information. In the past you used to have the paper based records which was so hard because the nurse filled out everything on a piece of paper and then your doctor would have to read through that to understand how to treat you. I personally love the EMR and it's been really effective when I visit any doctor that has upgraded to it. Therefore, I give this urgent care a four star review for not only utilizing the EMR but also EPIC to help treat my skin condition I came in with. Plus they called in my prescription automatically to my CVS Pharmacy which was so helpful.

I probably got helped, my depression was/is situational, not chronic, so it's hard to tell. BUT this place is run terribly. I got charged $3200 A DAY, when the average place is 740-2000 a day. For this price: *The food was yuck. Out of 6 days, 3 meals a day, they had maybe 5 good meals. And I am not picky. The ones that were lived on cereal. *They don't even give you a plastic knife, but sometimes serve chicken breasts or a pork chop? I ate with my fingers. Come on, people, did you ever hear of a cook book? There are recipes for cut up meat! *The cafeteria was filthy. I actually asked for a cloth and wiped the tables down. And the same stuff was on the floor day after day. I think they are under staffed. The food line took so long that the last people only had about 15 minutes to eat. *The rest of the place was very dirty too. One big clump of hair was out in the main atrium for 4 days at least. I took a used towel, wet it and wiped our room all along the walls where you could see the dust piled up. *We had the overflow from the detox ward and the psych ward. There were some really crazy people. Which is scary when both men and women are in there and you can't lock your doors. *My roommate went to bed early one evening. When I came in about 11:00pm I was standing by my bed in the dark, in T shirt and undies when the door opens and a GUY and girl start to come in, shining a flashlight at me. He backs out and she says "There's going to be a guy coming in." No, he ALREADY was in. So they come in and spend 8-10 minutes shining a black light all over everything. They woke up my roommate, who was sleep deprived. Why couldn't that have been done at 8:00 or 9:00? And check first, before a guy comes into girls' rooms! *There were no balls or sports equipment, besides about 30 of those baskets with a handle (like lacrosse sort of) and a broken whiffle ball. $3200 a day and no football, volleyball, a ball for 4 square, chalk to draw hopscotch, nerf balls, hula hoops. The pictures show treadmills and exercise equipment. Nope. Never saw any. *30 minutes for visits?! Twice a week?! When some people drive an hour or more to visit? * The place has a very high ceiling so sound echoes. If you are in rooms close to the TV it is impossible to sleep before 11:00pm. White noise would help but the heater/AC only runs every 20 minutes and just when you are getting soothed to sleep it shuts off. And when they come in to check on you every 15 minutes the opening and closing of the door wakes you up. How about curtains in front of every door? *I was really pressured to stay a couple days longer. They even told me I could be taken to court! I was not in my room, curled up in a ball. I could name everybody there and was at therapy and walking laps and doing puzzles, etc. But when I saw how much they charged I understood why they wanted me to stay! I really hope they work on the cleanliness of the place, and the food.

Both Louanne and the doctor were great and thorough! Would highly recommend them over the prices of Urgent Care or the E.R.! And they can prescribe right at Kroger so you just pick it up there! Great customer service and helped me when I needed it! Avoid Urgent Care unless you are bleeding to death and go to the Kroger Little Clinic! And they also do cleaning for your ears if they are plugged! Highly impressed!

When someone is pleading and begging and in tears you don't yell at them! And I had been calling as a courtesy.
