Great casino filled with up to date games, so many slot machines , too many to count. All workers we had interaction with , were friendly and helpful.

Great stay, great choice for a weekend getaway.... And not too bad on the price point. Located in northeastern Pennsylvania, Mount Airy Casino Resort is a relaxing escape in the well known, majestic Pocono Mountains. Camping, hiking, skiing, all things nature and outdoor activities are the main attraction that makes this place popular. I came here for a birthday weekend celebration and I must be honest....I thought to myself ......who celebrates a big milestone bday in all places "The Poconos!? I mean when it comes to birthdays and vacations, my brain is often wired for tropical destinations, beachfront Vistas, or something more at an upbeat pace. But, I must admit. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Mount Airy Casino resort. From the moment that we stepped through the doors, you are greeted with a welcoming hospitality and check-in crew that were very helpful with providing you things to do places to go and see. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very accommodating, spacious with one of the most comfortable king sized beds. The hotel grounds were immaculate very clean. Nothing dated a sleazy about this place that's for sure. The food options, day pool lounge and casino..... were all an added plus++ that made this place even more worth it as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I was made of a believer. I actallly had an amazing time filled with both fun and R&R....and found myself considering to stay over another night. If you're looking for a relaxing, more low key, five to celebrate special occasion or just for a quick getaway weekend..... you can't go wrong staying here. The only gripe I would say I had was with the in room snacks and wet bar.... You will be charged basically if you touch or even breathe on the items! lol. But all aside,, with the backdrop of a great outdoorsy feel and small town vibe and local eats/shopping.... You're in for a great stay and I would consider returning.....especially since this place is popular during the winter-snow season.

PROS: many restaurants in the casino, very clean, sports betting section, high bet areas for slots and table games, nice staff, loads of parking CONS: compared to the Atlantic City casinos this one is tiny OVERALL: as long as you don't mind the smaller than usual size I recommend coming here

Wife and I came here for my 25th birthday, the experience was honestly mediocre. The Casino was nice, the guy at the bar though made snarky remarks about my wife and I ordering soda (we don't drink) saying things like "ma'am this is a bar" and proceeded to gossip to another bartender that we weren't drinking alcohol. The hotel it self was nice, room was clean and comfy. but the rule of not letting customers take the cart for our luggage is honestly wack. Pool was nice, little cold. Kitchen was closed at 5, when it says 6... overall not 100% satisfied with the whole experience.

Stayed here with my fiancé for his bday around January 4th. This resort was ok be aware there is no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms which sucks and we wasted alot of food not being able to store food or reheat the food back up. Parking is a mess and it's so far away from the resort in order to get a close parking spot u have to tip valet very well for them to let u park steps away from the hotel . Other than that the bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. Probably wouldn't pick this resort again

This is one of my favorite casinos because they haven't replaced their dealers for machines like in most of the New York City casinos. It is huge and beautiful. Sometimes they have live shows and depending on the day you visit, it might be a little bit crowded. They have a couple of places to eat and most of the time you can find parking close to the entrance doors.

Unlike the many casinos popping up all over the country this is a legit casino with real games and real croupiers and real chips you can actually touch, feel and win. The action here is non stop for a Wednesday afternoon it gave a vibe of Saturday night. A lot of excitement also Several restaurants are available for dining anchored by Guy Fieri Mr. Pocono kitchen. The only drawback is SMOKING IS ALLOWED. So if you can't tolerate the smell pass this place by. Even the very small section for NON SMOKERS you still can smell it. As a former smoker I can tolerate a little puff but this place is ridiculous. With all the money they're making they could invest in a better air purifier and filtration system. So if you can overlook the second hand smoke then I say go for it. Try your luck and check out the other options which is available.

Labor Day Weekend! My BF and I came here for a relaxing weekend. Upon check in we requested a mini fridge for our room which was promptly brought up. The fridge is available for a $25 per day fee. While checking in I paid for the room (so I thought) and the fridge fee. Housekeeping stopped by daily, I must say they did a good job. Always replenishing toiletries, towels and coffee maker items. When we left the do not disturb sign on the door they were respectful of that as well. We dined at 4 out of the 5 eateries.... Guy Fieri's, The Buffet, Lucky 8 Noodles & Bistecca by IL Mulino (all will have their own review) with Lucky 8 Noodles being our fave. The night staff at Guy Fieri's needs a crash course in customer service. We utilized the pool on Labor Day which was very chill. Cabanas and day beds are available for rent with lounge chairs being first come first serve. They also have a pool menu with pool staff frequently circling to take orders and deliver food. The morning of check out I received a text message with instructions on how to check out via mobile. When I followed the link it stated I had a balance which was equivalent to the room rate already paid upon check in. So of course I skip the mobile check out and go to the front desk to check out because clearly something isn't right. Customer service at the front desk explained upon check in they put a hold on your CC for the room rate along with daily incidentals ($50 per day). Upon check out you actually pay for the room rate. Keep in mind depending on how long you stay the originally hold is still pending so essentially you're paying twice. That's what happened to me. The hold fell off a few days after check out. I think that process is absolutely absurd. The room rate should be charged and collected upon check in.

We think you are referring to Barley Creek located on Sullivan Trail Road.

Seriously, it was a big deal. The casino launched without a hotel, but over the years, it expanded, adding a hotel, more restaurants, and other amenities. For those first few years, this place was hopping--run like a well-oiled machine thanks to Bobby Soper, always clean, always busy, and a solid selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy between donating to the Mohegan tribe. Fast forward to now, and wow... what a fall from grace. I stopped by a few times on a recent trip, and Mohegan PA is barely a shell of what it used to be. First glaring issue? No valet parking. Why? I'm sure they'll blame COVID, but come on--at least bring it back on weekends when the place is actually busy. Speaking of busy, unless you're here on a Friday or Saturday night, the casino is a ghost town. During the week, I could have done cartwheels through the aisles without disturbing a soul. But come Saturday? It's so packed you can't even find an open machine to play. The extremes are wild. And those slot machines... yikes. I swear this must be where all the old, retired machines from their other casinos come to spend their final days. The games are outdated, some displays have screen burn-in, and several machines have broken buttons. There are even sections where machines have just been removed, leaving empty spaces with stanchions. It looks neglected. Food & Drink? Hit or miss. The buffet? Gone--another casualty of COVID, I assume. The Irish bar? Dead every time I walked by. The food court? It felt like stepping into a deserted 90s mall--bleak and lifeless. Unless you're planning to splurge at Ruth's Chris or Rustic Kitchen, your dining options are... well, depressing. Oh, and speaking of depressing - the plants in the planters outside Ruth's Chris... they're dead. Literally. And let's talk about the center bar experience. One evening, I stopped for a quick drink before a dinner reservation, and the bar was a cluttered mess. When the bartender finally emerged, I was greeted with an uninspired "What do you need?" Clearly, she wasn't thrilled to be working, and honestly, I can't blame her given the tumbleweed-level traffic in there. After visiting, I now understand why this place is dead mid-week. Mohegan PA is nothing like its former self. Living in South Florida, I frequent the Hard Rock casinos, and let me tell you, those absolutely blow this place away--newer machines, better game variety, cleaner spaces, solid food and drink options. If Bobby Soper walked in today, he'd cry.

The check in staff were courteous, helpful and professional. Lisa at the front desk handled my check in and she was superb! The hotel lobby has been fully renovated. (From what others have told me). I booked in advance and chose the new tower. The room was beautiful. Theres light switch lights by the door to control lighting in the room as well as "privacy" and "maid service". The ac/heat control panel comes with most newer rooms and are a plus! The bed was a bit on the softer side but most likely a 'soft firm'. There are 4 pillows and they were just right and adequate. There are reading lights on both side of the beds. Keurig machine with a coffee bar, 2 bottles of water,a refrigerator, widescreen tv and a safe. All handy. There's a pouch of toiletries in the bathroom and since it was a double queen 2 sets of toiletries were included. The bathroom was nice. For the most part a nice room and I had a great stay. Now the areas of improvement. First the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was either loose or defective as the toilet paper kept falling g off! So the end that opens up I had to sit upright in order to avoid further falling. There was a slight smell of smoke in the bathroom from the vents...maybe they should've spaced out the smoking/nonsmoking rooms better. Either that or the ventilation system needs to be looked into. The tower is brand new so why am I experiencing that? The shower floor seems slippery dry as I stepped in...be careful stepping in! When I used it later it was okay. But kinda weird that a non slip shower floor felt slippery when dry. The towels although fluffy and 'clean' left small lint after drying off and I don't they washed them first.. What I mean is they literally bought new towels and didn't wash them before guest use. I wash everything when it comes to clothing, towels, blankets prior to use. The next thing is there is not enough outlets for the new iPhones (c type) but plenty of usb throughout the room. The alarm clock was the only one that had the newer type but since it seemed to not be plugged into the wall (I couldn't get behind the heavy bedside desk to check) I had to request another clock/plug. Remember to bring your own wall outlet adapter! I forgot mine. These is my experience staying at WindCreek Bethlehem resort hotel. Mostly great but needs improvements. I recommend staying here. I wanted to post this to help others.

Good dealers. Where to start? First things first, came here as a traditional MGM property player. Looking to match my rewards tier, the Wind Creek website says they match mgm gold to their "escape" tier. Making my way to the cage, I'm told they'll only match the highest and invite-only tiers from mgm. I had to start from scratch with their rewards, pretty much killing any reason to bother with the casino off the bat. For gambling, I typically stick to table games. Pai Gow is my jam. Walking the casino floor, they had a grand total of one Pai Gow table, every seat taken, yet to even be opened. Yet they had a dealer, cards, and tray ready to go. Talking to the lucky few at the table, they said they'd been waiting for an hour. Asking the dealer if they would open another table, I was told they didn't have enough dealers for it. Oh, and there's was zero indication of whether it was face up or face down Pai Gow. Trying to ask the two pit bosses in the area any questions was a losing battle, they kept their faces down and only addressed the immediate task in front of them. As an added bonus, most casinos put their Asian table games near the Asian style restaurants. This place puts them on nearly opposite sides of the casino. Continuing to walk the floor. I noticed six to eight tables dedicated to Pai Gow Tiles. Definitely a strange ratio of tiles to "normal" Pai Gow, opposite of AC and Vegas. Then, there's the 1/3 of the entire casino floor, not just tables area I mean entire floor, dedicated to Baccarat despite moderate at best player count. Going forward there were three Three Card Poker tables, only one of which was open and full. One Let It Ride which was closed. The rest were flavors of blackjack, craps, and roulette. Eventually, they opened another Three Card Poker table. I sat to play, only to have the shuffler start dealing out for a completely different game (criss cross). I resigned myself to playing Blackjack. Nearly the entire time I was just scratching my head trying to figure out why they were doing what they doing. Almost as if mgmt had never seen a real casino before. I would give just a single star, but the dealers were nice and friendly enough. The one bright spot of an otherwise sad visit.

Although a nice feature is that you can reserve a table and available time through the Mount Airy website, which links you to a commonly used site called OpenTable. As a quick note, if you are a seafood lover with Italian food, then this may be your place to be. Unfortunately I am not a seafood fan, but I thought that there were still enough menu options to try this restaurant out. To start off, our waiter was not very knowledgable about the menu or drinks they offer. Not only this, he never offered to ask a manager or even a more experienced waiter/waitress about the menu. For a small place with very many employees just standing around, this should have not been an issue. The restaurant itself was very nice, but pretty small. It actually seemed like the spaced allotted to the restaurant was shared with the steakhouse. If you combined the size of the steakhouse and this Italian restaurant, you would have a nice sized restaurant. After we finally sorted out the drinks and menu, since there was olive oil and seasoning on the table, we thought we would be treated to bread as you normally are at Italian restaurants. Well besides the bread taking forever to come, we had to serve the olive oil and seasoning ourselves and we were only given the option to choose 1 piece of bread each off of a tray. The bread was warm and delicious, but I would have liked to enjoy more than one piece! I had to actually ask for another piece of bread to be brought over. I never thought I would go to an Italian restaurant that had bread rationing. Not only this, I've had better service at Carabba's or even the Olive Garden and they are not even considered fine dining! Next, it took almost an hour of waiting for our food to be delivered. Sitting in front of the kitchen, I could not find an excuse for this since the chefs were basically just standing around the entire time. Thankfully we were given our desert for free without contest for the wait. However, the excuse was lame and was blamed on a party of 12. So I guess do not visit this restaurant on a busy day! When our food finally came, we were unimpressed with the food for something considered "fine dining" where you should be given crafty and flavorful food, especially for the prices! This was not the case. The food was nothing more than average with little flavor at all. Where the fine dining aspect comes in is on the plate size. Definitely small portions compared to most other Italian restaurants. Overall, very disappointed with this restaurant. For the price of our bill, we would have been much better off at the buffet.

I'm here for a RunGood Poker Series and I'm pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, size, and…read morefriendless of this casino. I'm also 1-for-1 in food, but I did play it safe with a Chicken Garden Salad. Up until this trip, Hollywood Casinos that I have visited on my travels have been average at best. They're usually in areas where the competition is kicking their ass, the casino is relatively unkempt, and it's just not a great vibe. However, this property is the complete opposite. It's kind of awesome. It's super clean, the staff is great, and the patrons seem friendly and respectful. It reminds me a lot of Harrah's Cherokee--including many locals that recognize each other. At Cherokee (NC), you get about 50% tourists and 50% locals. That's due to being surrounded by big cities within 2-4 hours yet still in the mountains. Here, I would assume it's closer to 80% locals. This probably plays into the chill and friendly vibe. One thing I have noticed on my travels (this is poker room #118), outside of Vegas, most people know each other at every casino. An added bonus, is that they had a local band and a DJ last night (DJ between sets) and everyone was having a good time. I sat there and watched people dance and appreciated the good energy. I have some darkness to me but I really appreciate these moments where people are happy and enjoying themselves. It allows me to tune-in to my good side. Really really good vibes here with that dance floor. If I were to point out a negative, it's the $7 and $8 beers. This is simply greed. At Harrah's Cherokee (my home court for poker), you can get a $5 Landshark beer. It's not the best beer, but it allows you to walk around and enjoy a beer. Since the beers here were $7 and $8, I stopped drinking and consumed nothing for the last three hours I was there. The casino would make more money with a low-price beer option. The price points are a little too high for maximizing profit anyway. They are only hurting themselves. Almost every casino has at least one negative. But overall, this is a really cool spot and definitely recommended!

We attended the Rick Springfield concert last night. We were so excited and purchased the pre show…read moreparty buffet for $25 each. It was talked up stating there would be a dj, signature cocktail, appetizer type snacks on the buffet and give aways. First of all it wasn't clear where this was being held because the concert venue is separate outside from where this is served. Not being there before and this described as skybox-we initially thought it was part of the concert venue. It WAS NOT. This is a huge complex and the signage is very lacking. We thought once we parked we would be good to go for the rest of the night. Once we figured out where the "skybox" was inside the second floor of the casino-we had to check in. I printed our tix and had them on my phone wallet. The print outs directly from Ticketmaster were no good and considered screenshots to them. HUGE PROBLEM if you don't have a smart phone or if the system was down. Other people that we were with said that they were having a hard time having their ticket scanned on their phone because the Wi-Fi at the casino was poor.. my friend specifically asked about the giveaways because there was a wheel there to spin and we didn't know if we were supposed to spin it ahead of time or what the deal was and the guy told my friend that they would be making announcements and calling names for the giveaways that never happened the entire time that we were there. We got there at 3:30 and the party was from 2 to 6.. when we walked in there was a DJ but he left at 4 o'clock. When my friend asked about the signature cocktail, the waitress seemed confused at first and made a statement that she didn't know if there was any left or if they needed to make more come to find out that it was just a regular cocktail that they make like any other cocktail there wasn't anything that was premade or anything so we weren't sure why she even made that comment. The buffet was decent for what it was described to be, but it definitely wasn't worth the $25 apiece that we spent. It was hot dogs, walking tacos, some pulled chicken, soft pretzel sticks and some cookies. We didn't see any other drinks so I did go up to the bar to ask if I could order a soda and the lady did tell me that there was no charge for the soda, but I wouldn't have known that had I not asked.. when it was time to go down for the concert. One of the people downstairs was nice enough to tell us that we were better off leaving our car in the parking garage and taking the shuttle that they offer to and from the venue, so that part was good, but before that when we couldn't figure out where the buffet in the sky box was, we were driving around and couldn't figure out where we were supposed to park and we ended up going down this one street again there was no signs telling us where to go we're not to go and we ended up going down this road and when we got down there, we were greeted by someone in an orange vest who also seemed very confused so she ended up getting someone on the walkie-talkie who told her to call someone over and parking which really confused us because we thought that she was with parking so she directed us to go out and turn around and go down this other street and we told her that we were down that way, and there was cones blocking off the parking spaces saying that the lot was closed where we were supposed to park so that was what let us back up to the casino and we only knew to go there because I ended up typing it into AI and it was what told us to go back to the casino that that was where the sky box buffet was no one at the venue was able to tell us that. So once we got the shuttle, ironically, it dropped us off exactly where we were when we encountered the lady with the vest earlier. Once we were inside the actual Penn heroes Stadium that itself was awesome. It was set up perfectly and we had wonderful seats, but just trying to figure out the semantics of getting in there and getting set up was a nightmare.. I would not spend the extra money for the sky box buffet. Save your money and spend it somewhere else.
