Took the mystery kids to their first ever NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We got a little confused at first on the parking didn't realize we were at the wrong gate, no biggie. Once we had that straightened out it was flawless. This was a surprise for the kids, my son wants to be a race car driver. So what better than to surprise him with a trip to the Raceway and watch NASCAR? We went to the Saturday event for the NASCAR Xfinity cup series. There was so much to do, hadn't even realized! A lot different than my home raceway/speedway. Absolutely would come back it was worth it.

No NASCAR this time. The Drive-in Laser Light Show shown at the Pocono Raceway in The Poconos! The most spectacular laser show you have ever seen and it's set up just like a Drive-in movie only WAY WAY BETTER! Pile up in your Raddest Ride and come out for the fantastic Drive-in Cabin Fever Laser Show! One weekend only! Remember seeing lasers at the planetarium? Concerts usually use only 3-5 lasers, they use 25 High Powered Lasers for maximum WOW Factor!

Went there for some Nascar. Parking is on grass so beware which car you bring there. There are a lot of seats along the racetrack, and they set up vendors behind so good food and drink options. Getting in there was a lot of traffic, but leaving was easy. Cool event to see.

We came for the night lights lantern festival and it was an awesome experience. We got there early so we were able to get a good seats but towards the end it did get busy since there is limited amount of space. There were plenty of food vendors and great music performances.

Such a fun experience here! Great location for a sky lantern festival. The event was successful, so many portable toilets to use. Food stalls, concert, and mini s'mores kit with fire pit included. Big wide area to park. I was volunteering for the night lights team. Everyone did wonderful! So many family and friends that came in.

Came here for the lantern festival recently. Although the line for parking was long down the street, it was very organized. The lantern festival was held behind the actual raceway on a open field. The organization checking in was a little confusing. After a very long mob line to check in, there was confusion of where to go. Overhearing others we went to the big white tent to pick up our supplies. They also were not clear how to get the fire pits that everyone had. We luckily sat with a very nice family that shared their fire out with us. After having smores from the lantern kit, we set off the lanterns. There was a bit of difficultly getting them up due to the wind, but we had some assistance and were able to get at least 50% of our lanterns got up. Overall the event was a sight to definitely see. Next time we will be prepared.

The night light event at the poconos raceway was an unforgettable experience. Wishful lanterns resembling stars in the sky. Definitely would come here again!

Pocono Raceway is a great track for racing... Being my first time coming hear in 2017 always went to Dover... I like the track.. But Pocono needs to do something about the in and out of the race track so many times... They don't like u leaving the track to go to the parking lot. Being diffrent then Dover. When u go in to the merchandise gate you have to get ur ticket scanned at Pocono. Other then that... I found this to be one of my favorite tracks. The fans are some of the most friendliest people you could actually ever meet... They all come with grills, brings the family along for a fun fill day.... Traffic getting out is a nightmare. Leave with 25 Laps to go in the race if you don't want to be stuck in traffic for a hour... And there is no shortage of bathrooms.. They have bathrooms from one to the track all the way down to the other end.. And also. If it rained the night before or the morning of the race. Bring some boots, because expect to park in some muddy grass, they don't have much blacktop here to park on. Can't wait to come back for more racing in the future..... It's a kid friendly track... With alot fun activities for the kids to do. Bounce houses, coloring, face painting.. Etc, all free!!!

Food sucks, cold burgers and prices are exspensive $13 for chicken fingers when eldora speedway was $3.50 and beer was $2. Hair all over my chicken. Burger fucking cold half cooked I threw it out fuck me man

We have been going to the races since June 2016 NASCAR is the bomb . we had a great time. bought general admission seats $25 and sat front row to get the full racing experience All Pocono staff members and security that we talked to were helpful and polite. We really enjoyed the race they have plenty of bathrooms and there is never a wait The food was solid although we brought are own cooler of beers and sandwiches This is an experience .. you have to see a race at least once in your lifetime and this track is fantastic The troopers were direction traffic and very understanding , not breaking balls and pulling people over for DWI

Nice out in the country race track. Watched Indy race this time will go back next year for NASCAR race. Lots of food vendors, souvenir shops, clean restrooms. Small venue not a whole lot to do, but GREAT tailgating before and after the race. Coolers allowed in stands not sure if it's a good idea maybe too many beers. Good fun great seats all around

They had a craft beer garden this year!

I was wondering if anyone has ever taken their camper to Pocono for the day on Sunday into the day parking area. Do they really make you leave at night after the race?

If you don't park your camper in the infield and get the pass, you are not allowed to park overnight in the general parking area.

I understand weather is unpredictable, but what made this situation far worse was the appalling customer service I received when I reached out to discuss a refund or even a simple reschedule. I do not live in the area and was trying to be reasonable in asking for some type of accommodation since I wasn't able to experience what I paid for. Ian, however, treated me with the most disrespectful, rude, and dismissive attitude imaginable. From the second I brought up the issue, he acted as if I was inconveniencing him by even asking a question. He refused to work with me in any way. no understanding, no willingness to discuss options, nothing. His tone was completely unprofessional and frankly condescending. It was made very clear that getting a refund was "not going to happen," as he put it, with absolutely zero empathy or customer care. I've never been treated so poorly when simply trying to get a fair resolution. To take people's money for an event that was rained out and then treat them with such blatant disrespect when they seek help is completely unacceptable. I will absolutely never recommend this experience to anyone and would strongly advise others to avoid it. Customer service should never make a bad situation worse but Ian certainly did.

We paid $2,500 in total for 2 people along with the extras. When we returned from vacation. we realized the error on the date. We called them yesterday and again today to discuss the error in booking. They will only rebook us for 9/19/2025 if we pay an additional $1,100 (booking fee), which is their policy. There is no comprise. We spoke to Ian (owner of the company) today and he said that is the only thing they can do. If we don't rebook, then we lose the entire money. They wouldn't even consider doing the 50% of the $1100 rebooking fee. We understand their policy, but they need to allow for exceptions. They don't allow for human error or any other issue such as an emergency situation. I did ask if I had passed and my girlfriend asked for the money back due to a death, they said they wouldn't give any of the money back. It's extremely disappointing, because we did the experience last year and it was an awesome experience. Their policy needs to be revised or at least they could do is work with us. Keep in mind that you MUST show up or you lose all your money or pay more to rebook. That's absolutely crazy!!!!

It was a really nice night to sit outside and people watch. It's an hour ride from the King of Prussia area and my husband really wanted to go, so I took the ride with him. They are doing an awful lot of work widening the Northeast extension. Well they only do the bike racing during the summer and it was the last weekend. It's a nice outing, but I think it's more of a local thing to do. No need to rush up there from the Burbs. You watch people race around the track sometimes for 45 laps. It gets to be so confusing that you don't even know who is first and who is last......so you just watch people whiz by. This really is a family affair, there were kids as small as pee wees and lots of Grandmothers/fathers. I think a lot of local people come, have dinner at the picnic tables, bring the kids bikes along cause they let the kids ride the tracks during intermission. The racing usually starts around 7PM and the few times I've been there, usually ends in the neighborhood of 11PM. There are generally several classes of cars racing throughout the night, with the longer feature races being later in the evening. If you don't make it there by 7PM, you will just miss some of the early qualifying races. Being a dirt track, expect to get dirty. Everything you bring with you, including yourself, will be covered in a layer of dirt by the end of the night. Ear plugs are not a bad idea either, as some of the races are pretty loud. Another thing you should bring is beer. You are allowed to bring your own in(as long as it is not bottles), and it makes the people watching much more entertaining. You see all kinds here, but there is definitely an abundance of mullets, rat tails, breast tattoos, and confederate flag tattoos. The bathrooms probably smell just as bad as any porta potty I've ever been in, and I've been in some nasty ones. There is a snack bar that has some okay food, but obviously nothing gourmet. If you have even the slightest interest in car racing or enjoy drinking beer and people watching, this place is some good and cheap entertainment. A ticket to the stands is only $12. Are you taken from time to time by a sensation or an event that seems motivated by something other than the processes we can describe with our natural understanding? Like, do you sometimes think of me and then two seconds later I call? I found a penny on the way to the heat bubble last weekend. I don't remember precisely where but I do have the sense that when I saw it I knew I had to pick it up. Later that same evening, when emptying my pockets in the hotel and coming again across said penny I elected to do something with it. I put it on top of my wallet. Just over 12 hours later I won the 50-50 at Selinsgrove Speedway. To mixed emotions in the grandstand, I'm sure, as the announcer announced that the fellow from Oakland just left the booth with 693 of their hard-earned dollars (20 of which were hard earned by me thankyouverymuch). I've been coming to this track since I was as small as small Peter, my brother's 11 year-old son who sat that night with me in the first turn bleachers. Half-mile dirt oval, $13 dollars for kids over 12 (under is free), heart attack food for prices so low you'd swear they were underwritten by a diabetes drugmaker, no booze, an occasional skunk on the track, sprint cars to superstock. Happy times under the stars. Later that same evening, when we rejoined our hero in the hotel room, I took my special penny and thunk over where to put it now. It didn't seem quite time to let it go. In my wallet was a paper heart that I had found in the woods months earlier. A little red paper heart that peeked only a corner from under Allegheny pine needles, a little red paper heart maybe the size of a nickel with I Love You drawn on in black marker. I put the penny in my wallet over the heart.
