So many new friendships were made and the positive feedback has been overwhelming! Thank you CampOut Poconos for promoting such an inclusive and diverse community in the Poconos!! We are truly lucky!!

I was taken aback at the size of the foot print and acrage here. Its HUGE and very hilly. Its very spread out. We came for one night to check it out and it was a Thursday so not much going on, which was expected. The pool was nice and clean, however closed early. There was little to no cell phone signal (AT&T or Verizon) or Wifi which needs to be addressed as it is a safety issue. The overall infrastructure is there but needs some work. There were many old seaonals that looked abandoned and run down and campers that needed to junked. THe store was nice and had a cool lounge area attached. The pavillion was also nice and close to where the bon fires are held. Our RV site was easy to pull into and hookup which was appreciated. The staff were friendly. I would come back but on a weekend to see more people and activities.

With love in my heart, for now, I've got to walk this one back a bit…read more While they are trying their best to improve certain aspects of the operation by adding and pushing things like a new simulator and moving the pro shop to it's new (final?) home in the basement on the back side of the main building, what it comes down to for me is the course. There are still too many holes with tee boxes that have been in a modified location for over a year with seemingly no work having been done on where things are supposed to be (12 and 16). Certain greens like 10 are in bad shape - browned out and not fully mowed when we most recently played a few weeks ago. On the topic of mowing, that was semi-lacking as well. Some holes had fairways that more resembled light rough and the rough was well...rough. This course has a lot of character and is excellent if you're someone that likes scenery, a challenge but nothing so hard as to be intimidating, non-muni style courses where the holes just go back and forth because they sure as hell don't here. If you're coming on one of the deal days/times like Tuesday when they charge $30 or Saturday mid-day for a few hours when it's $40 I guess it's a good deal but right now to pay the full freight of $55 or even $70 is really a poor ROI for the playing public.

Punishing golf course with a lot of character. Great value for the dollar. While the tee boxes…read morecould use some work and the distance between holes is rather long, this course is still a must play. The vistas from up top are to die for. I strongly recommend playing this course.

We purchased the VIP which at 45 is about the standard.. Even though the VIP line wasn't long, the wait time was longer than I'd liked with paying the higher price, but after reading the reviews, I guess we did pretty good! It gave a fun, spooky touch to have the characters playing along with us while we waited in line. Once we inside, I was impressed by the detail of the experience.. they definitely put effort into this part which was appreciated. There were a couple of different sections, including a hayride. Overall, it was more of a fun, entertaining experience, not necessarily scary.. that's good when you have a easily spooked 10 year old present.

I was there for a music festival called moe.down (it has a bunch of bands the main act being the jamband from NY called moe.). Let me just say if you are considering attending a music fest at West End Fairgrounds this place is pretty ideal for a small to medium sized fest. Plenty of flat ground to camp or RV. Lots of buildings to house some of the infrastructure. The ground generally has good drainage (we got some heavy rain for a bit and while it did pool, I think a lot of it went away relatively quickly. Also the location of the site is VERY close to 2 supermarkets, one of which is the largest ShopRite in existence! I had never been to Gilbert before but there is def stuff to see in do within an hour that you could add on before or after an event here. Overall I was very impressed and would happily return!

However, the greens are in desperate need of mowing, aerating and rolling. I don't think I've ever seen the greens roll this slow, it was also super dry so they should've been flying. 9/22/24 - We attended the hot air balloon festival in September, when the weather was still quite…read morewarm. It seems to be held 2-3 times between June and September. According to their website, this is the first of three hot air balloon festivals in Warren County, created in 2021 for artists and crafters. This event was called the "Hot Air Balloons, Arts & Crafts Festival," and there were vendors, food trucks, live music, as well as activities and entertainment (mostly geared toward kids) such as axe throwing, a video arcade trailer, bounce house, face painting, crafts, a clown walking around doing tricks, a robo-dog, drone flying demo, rocket building & launch, and my toddler's favorite - a giant tub of Legos lol. You could also pay to go up in a tethered balloon ($30 adult/$20 child 4-12yo), but the line was long and didn't seem to be moving too fast so we abandoned that idea. The highlight was of course the balloon launch, which began in the late afternoon into early evening, one after another. It was a sight to behold as the colorful balloons drifted over the horizon. We laid out our picnic blankets on the grass, ate food and walked around while watching the balloons take off. Toward the end of the evening, 7-8ish, there was a dance party with a DJ and pretty good music, which lasted until sunset. Very fun for the kids (and me!), and the DJ booth gave away light-up bracelets and other glow-in-the-dark accessories to everyone! Finally, we stayed to watch the special monster balloon be inflated before leaving as it was getting dark and colder. Parking and check-in were a beeeze and very organized. The event is family friendly and we thought the price was reasonable especially if you buy a family pack.

3.5 Have been to a balloon festival and fair just once…read morebefore - there was a lot to do/see and many hot air balloons were released. Had some expectations when we decided to go last-minute to this one held in Warren Community College, Washington NJ. It was the last for this summer. Pay for admission on their website or at the location. $10/adult, $5/parking. Got the family rate at $35, for up to 5 people, parking included- good deal. Parking was very organized. Our QR code was scanned at ticketing tent and got wristbands. Was told we could leave and return with the bands (Could have gone to an outdoor bbq place we drove by on the way.) Festival started at 2pm, we got there at 3pm. In the open grassy field of the college so was warm under the sun. Shade under trees, tents. Make sure to have sun protection and something to sit on. Had my yelp blanket in the car so laid it on the nice grass and used my yelp Mets fan to cool off. No balloons yet so we decided to see what's at the fair. First we saw a remote-operated dog. It was walking around, checking out food menus haha and interacting with people. So cool. For food/drinks, prices from $4 for hotdogs with different toppings, to $10-$25 from the various food trucks/tents. We just ate so got fried oreos and funnel cake at $10 each; iced coffees from The Laughing Goat in the cutest food truck (a local coffee place). Their iced americano had good flavor, more than their iced coffee. Not much for us adults to do there so didn't need to come too early. Unless you want to pay to go in one of the 3 tethered balloons, which went on til dark; axe-throwing (not bad at $5 for 5 min) or the "walk-into" inflated balloon for photo-op $3pp. We just checked out the few vendor tents; got our video taken in a grounded balloon basket with flames shooting up, flew a small drone. There was a juggler with different props - learned how to use the chinese yoyo, etc. Little kids had face-painting; made paper rockets and launched them; a small bounce house, etc. Heard there was going to be a dance party too. At close to 5pm, we got our spot with a great view of the balloons being inflated. First one went up about 45min later. 8 balloons so not as many as our first experience. Still, nice to watch. At about 7pm, 4 more balloons were inflated, which included the finale Monster balloon. We decided to leave when it got dark and the monster was still down. Too bad. We wish they started on it much earlier.

Typically GA, decent sound system. A very relaxed, low key atmosphere. No bar (they do serve coffee, water and some soda) as one can get that pre-show at a couple of restaurants across the street that are decent. Parking is 'on street' and normally not an issue as it's commensurate with the venue size. One can normally park right there on Main St without a thought (there's virtually no traffic). I so love this place as it allows the attendees to get up close and personal with the artist, who typically will 'hang' in the lobby post show to sign CDs, talk music, etc.
