Multiple slot machines and tables with many types of games available. Bus stations conveniently located right outside. There is plenty of parking, highly recommend to just drive here. Recommend more options for the food court and perhaps get a lounge area because a lot of people go there for the whole day. Need a place for the family incase of the kiddos. read more

UB40 ‼My first concert here‼ What a wonderful time . Great choice of 80s hit maker. The room isn't too big so everyone has a good seat. The stage is also elevated so everyone can see. The concert goers have their own bathroom (that we don't share with the gambling public.) It was such a wonderful evening with such great entertainment couldn't be more pleased with the evening. All the staff really took care of everything got us to our chair so easily. Everything was just so well organized. And the merchandise was located directly outside of the main entrance( in the casino.) Afterwards, it seems like a lot of the concert covers. Enjoyed the DJ at the bar playing similar reggae music.. Beautiful casino with a helpful staff. I think my favorite parts were the horse head statue out front and the blown glass on display. Enjoyed seeing the Liberty Bell too. I didn't think the casino was that big on the inside but it was HUGE. My gripes: parking for handicap is a nightmare. There are only a few spots and all were taken. It would've been better if they had multi-level parking. And also, by my count, and I may be wrong, there were only 2 restrooms in the whole place. I love that I live near Parxs Casino. The comps there were just not as good as other casinos so I choose not to gamble there often but i still go! I love the entertainment that they bring to the suburbs of Philadelphia. They have headline entertainment, really cool themed brunches and food/alcohol events like bourbon tasting. In addition to the headliners that they bring to the area, they also have some great bands that perform on the weekend and a comedy show during the week. My favorite part about the casino is that there's a Chickie and Petes inside so I can get my fix of their amazing crab fries. There is always plenty of free parking and you can valet as well if you don't want to walk from the large parking area. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Atlantic City, Parx is one of the places to go. During my most recent visit with my aunt, we arrived around 2 pm on a Saturday. The parking lot was packed and we had to park further away. Now I know I look young, but let's be for real. I know I look older than 21. Every single time I come here, security is asking for my ID. It's kind of annoying considering I'm almost double that age, but they're doing their job, I guess. (Insert sarcastic eye roll.) Needless to say, you lose money fast here. They're definitely monitoring you if you insert your card into the slot machines. My aunt had better outcomes when she took her card out of the machine. However, using your card is what helps you earn points so you can get the promotions. The choice is yours. First visit was for a comedy show last weekend and this casino is great. The venue to see the show was great. They even provided bottled water for free going in. (I guess they knew the crowd). There are plenty of places to eat and the drink prices are reasonable. After the show we gambled of course and they have a great selection of slots and table games. A small casino with your normal tables, slot machines, sports betting, and restaurants. The slots aren't the newest games and selection is quite slim. Most of the machines are asian themed so I found that to be not very interesting. The casino is nice clean - really clean bathrooms. It had a wide variety of table games open which is nice in the middle of the week. Your not stuck at 1 table if you want to play. We ate at the Foodie court which is why Im writing this review. The food was really good, tasted fresh, and hot. I was apprehensive about eating there because sometimes food court food is rough. We ordered boneless honey bbq wings, basket of fries, chocolate cake and 2 coffees. All of this came to $24.75 and the portions were a nice size. I'm actually surprised to see low ratings for Parx. We go to Parx often and I think it's one of the better casinos. Pretty large casino, lots of game options and a couple good restaurants. I've been to Mount Airy recently and Parx is hands down better. We get some nice free gifts from Parx as well. I play table games and poker mainly, most dealers are friendly and knowledgeable. SO and I visited on Memorial Day. There's a good mix of electronic and table games here with reasonable minimums...was at the MGM National Harbor the day before if anyone is familiar with their minimums. The poker room is average size. The dealers and pit bosses appeared friendly. I lost money at roulette and made it back at the slots. All of the restaurants were closed, so it was either Bambu or Chickie's and Pete's, which was dark and we don't usually eat at places where we can't see what we're eating. We made it in time for Bambu's 3 course price fixe menu for $18, which is offered 7 days a week from noon to 3pm.  We started off with a pot of hot oolong tea and, soon after, the house special hot and sour soup came...this soup is nice and hearty! For appetizers we shared the fried pork & shrimp potstickers with soy glaze and the bacon and shrimp roll with spicy mayo.  These were ok, not bad. For entrees, we shared the chicken in black bean sauce and the beef chow fun.  This was a perfect combo of veggies, carbs and protein.  The beef chow fun was comforting and stuck to your ribs...also had a good amount of beef.  The chicken in black bean sauce was our favorite...it was cooked and sauced perfectly and the vegetables were fresh! Bottom line, the service was fast and there were a couple bright spots with the food.  Add in the free tea and this is an overall good lunch with good value! read more

I have over 116 check-ins at Parx Casino over the years, poker player, ex-casino worker, and frequenter of casino, here lies my evaluation. Poker : Poker room is large with high limit poker tables on the right side of the room and the majority of the room filling up with more low to mid stakes poker games. They also run poker tournaments based on a set schedule you can find on the Bravo app along with how long of a wait you may encounter to get a seat at your game of choice any time of the day. As far as poker rooms are concerned this is a very nice room and relatively new in number of years running in the new location away from their other building strictly set up for horse racing. You will also find multiple kiosks for sports betting along with one or two ATMS. I would give the room either 4/5 stars or 5/5 based off it being located in Bensalem and not the likes of Vegas. Slots : It appears they have a quite massive layout of slots scattered throughout the party with many bars where you can dip in for a to go drink if you do not feel like waiting for a cocktail waitress. I know a few people that have indeed hit nice jackpot or two here but I myself cannot comment on how loose the slots are as I only put in a twenty every few years when vacationing down at the Atlantic City casinos. Restaurants : Be careful...unfortunately not many good options. The soup is a good pick me up at the main dining outlet but other than that I would advise going outside the casino for food, there is an Applebee's right at the corner when you turn into the entrance for the Parx Casino. Came tonight to see the Chris Tucker show tonight at the Xcite Center inside this casino. Very nice room. A win win in any seat. Cheapest tickets still see good because it is not a huge place. Tonight they locked up all phones in a pouch. When you leave the unlock the pouch and you get your phone back. First time I been to a venue that done that. They wanted no photos or videos being taken. And they made the announcement that if you are caught doing so. The show would be stopped till the person was escorted out of the event. This casino itself seems like they stepped up their game. Last visit I notice more and more people smoking through out the building. Today it was like a breath of fresh air all through.
