FOOD Almond Croissant: sure it's more than $5, but it's decently-sized and loaded to the gills with almonds and powdered sugar while still being flaky-fresh - yum! The real value is the day-old section: three pastries randomly placed in a bag - these pickups worked for us: - Chocolate Roll: yum! - Apple-carrot Muffin: yum yum, and still soft! - Spinach Feta Danish: a great savoury treat! Note: for those of you with kids: they have giant Smarties-based cookies for $2.75! === 3. SERVICE It's great and patient, and full of recommendations. What more could you ask for! === 4. ENVIRONMENT A dim, aged interior awaits you - but it's really just enough space for you to walk in and admire the offerings in a couple of display cases while watching the staff behind the counter whip up more bakery delights. You could bring wheelchairs and baby strollers in here, but there would not be much room for anyone else during your visit. Parking is best found on one of the nearby streets - be careful not to park in the lot in the back, which is reserved for the cafe and other businesses next door.

There's plenty of baked goodies here - bread, pastries, pies, cakes, with gluten & vegetarian options available. Great service & comfort in this cozy bakery. Come prepared to grab & go. I got the a Peach & a Berry Tart. Both were on point top notch. For Victoria, I'm going to rank this a close second to Crust Bakery - see my review. As a bakery in Victoria - I found it sort of limited - I was expecting more baked goods. I did have the cream puff and it was delicious. My wife got a package of Cinnamon Rolls that she said were OK - not much better than you could get at Safeway - but a little. I had the Greek wrap which was disappointing but that is probably more me then the wrap [I am not a strong wrap lover ]. I was anticipating more of a gyros taste but it had chicken vs normal lamb and the dressing wasn't to my taste. My wife had the Teriyaki wrap and she said it was real good. If you live here - probably an ok place for lunch and some baked goods - but not worth a special trip. The people were friendly and efficient but the atmosphere needs work. You get to eat at a table in the parking lot.
