Check out Moty's Mediterranean Grill at Food Truck Wednesdays in North Bay Village. From 5-10 PM every Wednesday.

Got the mix platter from Moty's while at Food Truck Wednesdays in North Bay Village. I enjoyed the variety of meat and veggie options. The falafel was my favorite, followed by the egg roll with ground lamb. Pretty pricey at $15 but it's understandable considering the work that goes into mobile food, and the portion was enough for my roommate and myself.

It was ok.... Was expecting explosion in my mouth, but tasted better...

The food was egh, not too much flavor... I had better... For some reason the menu said lean chicken, but what they gave me was definitely fried... And usually anything fried tastes good to me, but the taste was bland... The fries that came with it weren't all that either... Was pretty disappointed...

Really great falafel salad! Prices are a bit high, but the falafel is excellent. Also great fluffy home made pita. Yummy!

Tables are set up next to the farmers market. I opted for a glass of rose and it was really good (and I'm not a wine drinker). The plates came out at a good pace. Everything was really good and tasty. I tasted some new things (e.g. fennel, roasted olives...). I wouldn't mind eating here again, but it was not mind blowing either. It's outside dining so if there's no breeze then it must be very hot sitting there. if you love the better things in life and are a vegetarian then this is definitely the spot for you! It is very different for Miami! I'm sure there's nothing like this around.

I'm an unrepentant meat eater. I love cows on a plate, on bun (along with chicken), etc etc…read more However, I'm open minded enough that I'll try a vegetarian meal once in a while, especially if it's with fellow foodie friends. Josette S. posted the event, and this was my second time at Chef Allen's Farm to Table dinners, since I'd previously indulged at an Elite event a few years back. There is still free parking across the street. The dining area had various farmer market booths around selling vegetables, jams and a tasty cherry Italian ice. To a carnivore like me, salads are typically just the app or first course, but as a vegetarian meal everything was a salad. We started with a family-style plate of various (yellow, red, and roma) tomatoes and fried okra. I found out veggie dishes can be fried! The third course of roasted potatoes and red peppers along with a cool yet spicy red pepper hummus. This contained my usual veggie plates so it was easily my favorite! Main course was a piece of eggplant parmesan with just the right amount of tomato, cheese and a side of wild rice. I ate most of the eggplant "meat" but left the skin. The second course, other than the shredded carrots, was the one I could have passed on. Like President Bush, Broccoli wouldn't be prudent, not gonna do it.. Dessert was a rich, not overly sweet, piece of chocolate brownie. Though I said in was going to be a troll and have a burger afterward, I was actually satisfied! Chef Allen himself spoke the first event I went (during the elite event) giving a history of how each dish related to the dinners theme. However, he wasn't there at Monday's event so we missed out on that. Still, the manager and staff from the Books and Books cafe were very pleasant and informative. I'd definitely give the cows another break sometime.

I stopped in for lunch after a work meeting and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

From the moment we sat down, our waitress was warm and attentive. I wish I'd gotten her name. She made great recommendations that were all delicious. The restaurant is very well managed and organized. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous views of golden hour.
