Yesterday I had a really bad experience with another mechanic in town, and had wasted a good portion of my day with them. I called Carl at Mototran as he came highly recommended from the Oakville Moms Group. I explained over the phone what the problem was and how frustrated I was with the other place I had been to. He sympathized and asked if I could bring my car in that afternoon. When I did, I was quickly greeted at the desk and already felt more at ease than I did at the previous mechanic I had been to. Carl came out and we had a quick chat, and he brought my car into the shop to take a look. In less than ten minutes, he had fixed the issue, and given me a recommendation for another issue that might develop in time. To top of an already amazing experience - he didn't charge me for what he fixed. To say I was happy with the service is an understatement. I will be coming back here for any other issues I have, and will send all of my friends here as well. Carl definitely cares about his customers and knows what good customer service means. I say this with great LOVE When my car breaks down, I don't freak out, I go to Carl. My Dad has been bringing his jilappies to Carl junior and Carl senior for over 20 years. And now I bring mine gleefully! A few times I've tried other shops, And I was quoted twice as much and they told me I needed to do major repairs!! The Carl's will tell you the Truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and will have it fixed up ready to go the next day. They have so much expertise and integrity. I love these guys so much! My Lexus need new break pads, 4 calipers (ceased) and 4 new routers other mechanic charged me $100 just to look at it and wanted 2X what Carl charged me to do the repairs. My Son and I have used Mototran's services many times before on our cars and he has never disappointed. On time, on budget and on point. No last minute surprises, honest and fast. My experience at Mototran was great. I was given the suggestion from the owner Carl and employee Ted not to switch out my tires for the used tires I brought in. As I discussed my options I decided to order two new tires for the front of my truck. The crew including Jamie were kind and easy to talk with. Glad I have found a new mechanic to call home. read more
