We are at a disadvantage as there is really only one Honda dealership in our area, but at this point, if I were to purchase another Honda, I'll drive the extra two hours to purchase from a dealer that values their customers. Honda builds excellent and reliable motorcycles, but the support from this particular dealership is abysmal.

My group, the NFHOGs, and I were on an epic 2500 mile journey up the coast of CA to the Canadian boarder when I was the one who broke down. There's always an event and this was my turn. I don't want to bore you with the details of my hellish 8 hour experience with AAA tow service who made me unload my bike from the trailer to your dealership, in the dark, alone, with no help. It was a leap of faith for me to leave my brand new Street Glide in front of a closed dealership, then toss the fob as instructed over a locked fence. I was 1000 miles away from home, but I trusted and tossed. You can't imagine my joy when I arrived back at the dealership the next morning to find my bike safe and in good hands, AND fixed and back on the road within 2 hours. He got to work quickly and even helped get it into the dealer for a recall repair after I'd moved away. Rod managed to sell the car for top dollar, working off of the list price we'd agreed on. Even with his fees, I netted more selling it with him than I would have if I'd accepted any of the really low offers I had gotten on my own. It was especially helpful that he manages all the payment, banking and paperwork details since I was out of the country when my car sold. If you want a pain-free way to sell your car and someone who will work hard to get you the most for it, Rod is the way to go.

I searched the interweb for a shop that would quickly get me back on the road. I saw a pic of a Rokon and a twin cam CB750F out front of Sanden's shop and I knew who to call. Chris quickly understood what I was up against after a one minute phone call. I arrived shortly thereafter, and He pulled his current project bike off of the lift, and had my old sportbike lifted and chain removed quicker than I could have, and I've been wrenching since '89. Great shop, great guy. Don't bother taking your machine anywhere else in or around Bend. Chris with take great care of you. Causing stand to rub on the swing arm with hundreds of miles to go. Was at a shop next to Scott's, told him of my issues. He came out to the bike with a jar of bolts and installed the bolt & tightened up the other side (about to fall out) When I asked Scott what I owed him, he said whatever you want to give to the cause. I gave him a $20 and was very appreciative of his assistance. Great guy. Had 3 Honda Goldwings in the shop at the time.
